Story
KIMORA's Story Est. DOB: 09/09/2019 Weight: 25lbs Adoption fee: $500 Kimora is a charming French Bulldog with a big heart and an even bigger love for people. She’s friendly, affectionate, and happiest when she’s soaking up attention—whether that means cuddling on the couch or following her favorite humans from room to room. Kimora has done well with other dogs her size, but she’s truly a people-focused pup who would love to be the center of someone’s world. Kimora was originally purchased from Puppyland and later developed chronic ear infections that her previous owner was unable to manage. These infections led to ear hematomas and swelling, which have since resolved. She may require ongoing ear care and medication to keep her comfortable. Kimora is also on a hypoallergenic diet, as allergies may be contributing to her ear issues and occasional paw licking. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion who thrives on human connection and will return your love tenfold, Kimora might be your perfect match. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate current vaccines, microchip, and preventative flea treatment. Our adoption process and application can be found at - https://www.sunnyskysshelter.org/our-adoption-process Note: Breed descriptions are provided as a general estimate based on the dog's size, shape, and appearance. These descriptions are not definitive and should be considered a "guestimate." Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to SEA💟 Meet Klein💚 💙 Klein’s News Account: @klein__55 1.) Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped and heartworm negative. 2.) Rescue Story * Klein was rescued from a slaughterhouse in Jeongeup along with her four siblings when they were very young. She stayed at the Jeongeup shelter for about a year. However, when she and her siblings were placed on the euthanasia list, Adogs stepped in and saved them, including Klein. 3.) Basic Information * With People: Tends to be quite shy. So when she first arrived at her foster home, she was wary and scared of her foster parents. Now, feels more comfortable at home and does not avoid them when they approach and sit by her. She wags her tail, whines in affection, and approaches! Seems to rely more on her foster mom in new environments. When there are strangers around, she’ll approach the women first to sniff them, but avoids men and runs away. If a stranger gives her a treat, she’ll take it and run away to eat it in her own space. Met young children at a dog-friendly cafe, but didn’t show interest in them. * With Dogs: Feels more comfortable around dogs than people. Approaches other dogs wagging her tail, but only sniffs them gentlly and politely — is a very mannered and gentle dog. Becomes more social and greets familiar dogs more actively. * With Cats: Tends to chase cats she encounters on walks and pulls on the leash. Caution is needed. * Separation Anxiety: When her foster parents were out for about an hour, she chewed things she could see and peed indoors. She barked and howled too. Her foster parents gave her longer walks and spent more time letting her use nosework toys. There’s an anti-opening device on the door so she can no longer open the door, and her behavior has improved. She’s being trained for separation anxiety. * Potty Training: Indoor potty training is still in progress, with about a 70% success rate on pads. Prefers to relieve herself outdoors and always poops outside. * Hygiene: Doesn't enjoy baths or brushing, but tolerates them well. Is still a bit scared of the dryer and tends to run away to avoid it. For nail trimming, one more person is needed to hold her while another trims her nails. Her guardian is currently introducing her to tooth brushing gently with a soft gauze and rubber toothbrush. * Walks: Pulls hard on the leash when she sees cats. She’s gained confidence and has become stubborn on walks, so she’s being retrained. * Car Sickness: Doesn’t get car sick but is scared of bright lights like neon signs at night, preferring to be held by a person for comfort. * Biting: Never shows possessive, defensive, or aggressive biting behavior. * Barking: Occasionally whines briefly when her guardian comes home or comes back into a room. * Likes: Loves sleeping, treats, and going for walks. Enjoys lying on the grass and relaxing during walks outside. Likes biting hard objects like charger cables, plastic hangers, pencils, shoes, etc. Enjoys lying on the couch when her foster parents are not around. Likes being warm, so she enjoys wearing clothes. She even sleeps much more comfortably when wearing clothes! * Dislikes: Is scared when strangers approach or when she hears loud noises. Is frightened by neon signs and bright lights when riding in a car at night. Dislikes sitting on cold floors. Is afraid to go into a small, dark space, so she's reluctant to go into kennel or doggy house. * Tricks: Didn’t respond to her name at first, she’s started to show interest when she hears her name and sometimes even comes! Is being trained to give her paw, but doesn’t like her paws being touched. Is being trained to go in her kennel, but she still prefers to go in to take treats out rather than stay inside.

Story
We knew Wren was fragile but we were not prepared for just how close to the edge she truly was. The vet began the conversation with words no rescuer ever wants to hear: If I had known everything that was wrong with her, I would have recommended humane euthanasia and never proceeded with surgery. And yet she is still here. A walking, breathing miracle. When Wren was intubated, the team discovered she has a gigantic cleft palate. The doctors were stunned that she had even survived from puppyhood into adulthood with a defect that severe. How she managed to eat, grow, and stay alive is something they simply cannot explain. She shouldnt have made it but she did. Then came the surgery and the heartbreak didnt stop there. Wren had one of the worst pyometras the doctor has ever seen. He could not understand how she was still standing. Then they discovered her uterus was adhered to her colon, requiring extremely delicate dissection. As if that wasnt enough, they then found that one ovary was attached to her bladder, which also had to be carefully separated. Because of the severity and complexity of what they found, the surgeon had to cancel all other surgeries for the day. Wren was on the table most of the day, fighting for her life while an entire medical team fought right alongside her. We are beyond grateful for the extraordinary skill, compassion, and dedication of Camino Pet Hospital. There truly are no words big enough to thank them for never giving up on her and for doing everything possible to give her a chance. It truly is nothing short of a miracle that Wren is alive at all that she survived puppyhood, made it to adulthood, and endured so much in silence. And maybe the greatest miracle of all is that when she finally needed help the most, she ended up exactly where she needed to be, in the hands of people who had the skill, compassion, and determination to fight for her life. Wren is by no means out of the woods. The next several hours and days are critical. We are praying with everything we have that her colon and bladder dissections heal properly, that everything holds, and that she avoids complications which are unfortunately common in cases this severe. Please continue to send prayers, love, and positive thoughts her way. Wren has already defied the odds her entire life and we are holding onto hope with everything we have.

Story
Wednesday (aka Whinney) Purrrrs when you pet her or rub her belly. In fact after you have been gone forever (10 minutes) she runs to you with abandon and hits a right slide just short of your feet, so he is in position for the Rub, on contact. She is a sweet 26 lb Frenchie mix with all the good Frenchie habits. She 10000% potty trained and likes it when you go out with her, but she will hide when she poops. Me too. Lol Whinny is the most laid-back dog I have ever fostered. She loves to play by herself. She juggles her hello kitty in the air, kicks and retrieves her fuzzy tennis ball. Her play time has been clocked as much as 7 minutes before she takes a nap, wherever she is in the house. She is not a genius dog, but one day you will say, you need water and she will zoom in the kitchen and start lapping. I've asked her for the ball, and she runs to get it. Next day she just sits and looks at you like you are a butterfly. Her heart is huge. She loves hugs, pets and get excited when you sing You Are My Sunshine. Shes unable to get on the furniture, and it is best to keep her off the couch and bed as a fall or even a jump could hurt her. She will sleep nicely in her own bed next to yours. She is happiest when you are touching her and she will snort. purr and snore to beat the band. She is not the dog that will insist on having your attention. If you pay her no mind, she will play alone. But she does like to cuddle on the floor. If you sit with her near you and say, "Hug Hug" and pat your chest she will jump in your lap and give you the belly with her head on you heart. There is an arrow on chest pointing to the belly, just in case you cant find the belly. She is afraid of the vacuum and mens shoes/feet. Men or women can pet her, and rub her belly and give treats, but she will react to men once they walk by her and she has most of her teeth. . Its very strange, but a real fear for her. I try not to think about what someone did you her in your young life. Wednesday would thrive in an all-girl home. She is fine with being in her kennel when there are visitors. She is not a huge barker But will bark when someone or thing is near you home or at the door. She is excellent at chasing away the deadly Bunny Rabits, and I still have rabbit poo all over my yard. lol She gets along with any dog who will let her sniff their butts. She absolutely loves her human. I feel quite safe walking her. She can sit, stay, get in the house, stay in the house, thats not your food. Once you meet her you will fall in love.

Story
I was left abandoned at the shelter from a very questionable background. Unable to hold in any food my timeline was cut short at the shelter. Thank goodness Church of Pug said yes to giving me a chance. My foster mom took me to this dog doctor who did not think I had much time left. No one could explain what was happening with me. Luckily my foster mom and the dogtor did not give up on trying to find out what was causing me to be so sick. All I knew ... I was SO HUNGRY, but no matter how much I ate I could not gain weight, and my body was breaking down. Luckily, a special test gave everyone the answer ... I have something called Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI) which I guess means my pancreas does not work so well UNLESS I have these awesome enzymes that help me absorb nutrients AND I am FINALLY feeling full and getting healthy and strong. Even with all of these things I can proudly say I am completely potty trained. No accidents for me. I like my space ... and I gravitate to the cat vs. the other dogs in the house. I sleep through the night and when I want to be pet or cuddle, I put up my paw and gently grab your hand or arm. I am still unsure about people ... I don't like to be picked up ... so when I want on the couch I growl when I go from floor to next to you ... but then I stop. If I am not sure what you are doing or your intentions, I will growl. It's my way to say I'm uncomfortable but I would never hurt anyone, I swear. I am really trying to behave like a dog who is loved, vs a dog who was hurt. I believe I can learn to trust again I just hope my forever home has the patience to help me get to that happy place. For my comfort a home with kids and wild hyper pups would not suit me. I prefer the calmer of the pack and the kitty cat. I know I am ready to find my forever home now that I'm all healthy and strong. Is that potentially you?
