Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please go to our website for all specific information about this dog.  Our info doesn't transfer over to the adoption sites.  Reese is a funny, toy loving, social girl looking for a home that knows her breed, including a proper bulldog diet, who will love her and take great care of her for the rest of her life.  This girl lives for having a toy, any kind of toy, in her mouth!  She appears to have been a dog that lived outdoors churning out litter after litter then discarded once they couldn't cash in on her puppies anymore.  She needs to be taken out to potty more often that a normal adult dog and if crated, she will soil her crate if left in it too long.  She's gotten better but isn't full proof yet.  She doesn't play with other dogs but does live amiably with them.   She's had all her vetting done including a dental.  Prior to adoption, our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and parasite treated/prevented.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 4, 2025, 5:35 pm

Story
Meet Klein💚 Klein was rescued from a slaughterhouse in Jeongeup as a young puppy, along with her four siblings. The group was placed in Jeongeup Shelter, where they lived for about a year before being put on the euthanasia list. Fortunately, ADogs stepped in and rescued Klein and her siblings just in time. • With People: Klein is a gentle and sweet-natured dog, but she is a bit shy around new people. She doesn’t immediately approach strangers but wears an adorable smile and warms up over time. If you offer her a treat, she will quickly gain confidence and even show her affectionate side! • With Dogs: She gets along well with other dogs and had a great relationship with her siblings. At the shelter, she socializes easily and does well in group settings. • With Cats: She has never been introduced to cats, so her reaction is unknown. • Separation Anxiety: Since she currently lives in a shelter, it’s unclear if she experiences separation anxiety. She may need some training and adjustment when transitioning to a home. • Potty Training: She is used to outdoor potty training at the shelter and may need guidance when transitioning to an indoor environment. • Grooming & Handling: Klein is very easygoing and allows bathing, drying, and nail trimming without fuss! • Walking & Socialization: She loves going on walks and has been trained well at school, so she doesn’t pull on the leash. She enjoys exploring and is a polite walking companion. • Car Rides: She does not experience motion sickness and rests calmly in the car during travel.

Story
Meet Brown🧡 Brown was rescued from a dog meat farm in Jeongeup along with his four littermates when he was just a puppy. After spending a year at the Jeongeup Shelter, he was put on the euthanasia list, but ADogs intervened just in time and rescued the siblings. Brown now lives peacefully with his rescued friends. • With People: Brown has a gentle and cautious personality. He may be a bit shy at first, but he’s also curious—he’ll approach new visitors slowly, especially if they have treats. With shelter staff and familiar people, he shows sweet affection, even offering kisses. • With Dogs: He prefers to keep to himself and doesn’t actively seek out other dogs, but he coexists peacefully with them. He’s an independent spirit who enjoys his alone time. • With Cats: He gets very excited when he sees cats, so it’s best to avoid interactions or walks near cats. • Separation Anxiety: Unknown due to group living at the shelter. • Potty Training: He currently goes only outdoors for potty. • Grooming & Handling: He tolerates baths calmly and accepts drying, though he freezes up a little from fear. He doesn’t enjoy nail clipping or brushing, but he’s very non-aggressive and cooperative with short sessions. • Walking & Leash Training: A perfect walker! He walks in sync without pulling and seems to truly enjoy his walks. • Car Rides: He rides comfortably in the car and shows no signs of motion sickness. 💌Special Notes💌 • Brown seems more comfortable wearing a collar than a harness. • He has coprophagia (stool eating), so it’s important to clean up right after potty. This behavior often improves with training in a home environment.

Story
I was left abandoned at the shelter from a very questionable background. Unable to hold in any food my timeline was cut short at the shelter. Thank goodness Church of Pug said yes to giving me a chance. My foster mom took me to this dog doctor who did not think I had much time left. No one could explain what was happening with me. Luckily my foster mom and the dogtor did not give up on trying to find out what was causing me to be so sick. All I knew ... I was SO HUNGRY, but no matter how much I ate I could not gain weight, and my body was breaking down. Luckily, a special test gave everyone the answer ... I have something called Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI) which I guess means my pancreas does not work so well UNLESS I have these awesome enzymes that help me absorb nutrients AND I am FINALLY feeling full and getting healthy and strong. Even with all of these things I can proudly say I am completely potty trained. No accidents for me. I like my space ... and I gravitate to the cat vs. the other dogs in the house. I sleep through the night and when I want to be pet or cuddle, I put up my paw and gently grab your hand or arm. I am still unsure about people ... I don't like to be picked up ... so when I want on the couch I growl when I go from floor to next to you ... but then I stop. If I am not sure what you are doing or your intentions, I will growl. It's my way to say I'm uncomfortable but I would never hurt anyone, I swear. I am really trying to behave like a dog who is loved, vs a dog who was hurt. I believe I can learn to trust again I just hope my forever home has the patience to help me get to that happy place. For my comfort a home with kids and wild hyper pups would not suit me. I prefer the calmer of the pack and the kitty cat. I know I am ready to find my forever home now that I'm all healthy and strong. Is that potentially you?

Lets talk aboutMai Taibecause this girl is a total vibe. Minutes away from euthanasia with a bum leg that was never treated, she was out of time untilChurch of Pugstepped in and gave her the medical care she needed. The leg? It had to go.
