Story
Album Review: “The Ballad of Leroy Brown” – A Soulful Smash Hit From the moment the needle drops, The Ballad of Leroy Brown wraps you in warm, fuzzy vibes and toe-tapping charm. Leroy, the irresistible Frenchie behind the music, has dropped an instant classic full of heart, snorts, and a whole lotta love. The opening track, Snuggle Session No. 1, sets the tone with a mellow groove. Leroy is an old soul with puppy charm, crooning his way into your lap with soft eyes and even softer snores. His vocals? A delightful combo of piglet grunts and sleepy sighs, layered over a baseline of snoozy snorts. And let’s not forget his signature sound: the rare art of sleeping upright, mid-verse. Pure talent. Mid-album, we hit the high-energy bop Squeaky Toy Serenade, where Leroy rolls, wiggles, and makes you laugh out loud. The playful riffs are balanced with smooth ballads like Sunbath in C Major and Backyard Lounge, showcasing his simple, homebody heart. He’s not chasing clout or the spotlight—he’s chasing belly rubs and a cozy nap spot. And he does it all with style. This album features strong duets with canine backup singers. While Leroy thrives solo, he harmonizes well with chill dog friends, especially those who don’t mind keeping it low key. And if you’re a fan of long walks and car ride jingles, Leroy on the Move is sure to be on repeat. Behind the scenes, Leroy’s team notes that his ideal producer (aka adopter!) is someone with a flexible schedule, doesn’t mind a little gas during studio time, and who can appreciate his soulful soundscapes at home. He’s a people person through and through, with a fan base that includes kids, adults, and anyone lucky enough to share a couch with him. So cue the spotlight, press play, and get ready to fall in love. Leroy’s ready for his next big hit: a forever home. Leroy Brown is estimated to have been born in August 2024 and weighs 20 lbs. He is a Frenchie with Myasthenia Gravis that we are working to get under control. Prospective adopters should be prepared to monitor and care for this condition. Leroy Brown is currently available for FOSTER TO ADOPT only. If you are interested in our foster-to-adopt program for Leroy Brown, please fill out an ADOPTION APPLICATION at: https://www.forgottendogsrescue.com/adoption-application or send an email to adopt@forgottendogsrescue.com. ✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to SEA💟 Meet Klein💚 💙 Klein’s News Account: @klein__55 1.) Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped and heartworm negative. 2.) Rescue Story * Klein was rescued from a slaughterhouse in Jeongeup along with her four siblings when they were very young. She stayed at the Jeongeup shelter for about a year. However, when she and her siblings were placed on the euthanasia list, Adogs stepped in and saved them, including Klein. 3.) Basic Information * With People: Tends to be quite shy. So when she first arrived at her foster home, she was wary and scared of her foster parents. Now, feels more comfortable at home and does not avoid them when they approach and sit by her. She wags her tail, whines in affection, and approaches! Seems to rely more on her foster mom in new environments. When there are strangers around, she’ll approach the women first to sniff them, but avoids men and runs away. If a stranger gives her a treat, she’ll take it and run away to eat it in her own space. Met young children at a dog-friendly cafe, but didn’t show interest in them. * With Dogs: Feels more comfortable around dogs than people. Approaches other dogs wagging her tail, but only sniffs them gentlly and politely — is a very mannered and gentle dog. Becomes more social and greets familiar dogs more actively. * With Cats: Tends to chase cats she encounters on walks and pulls on the leash. Caution is needed. * Separation Anxiety: When her foster parents were out for about an hour, she chewed things she could see and peed indoors. She barked and howled too. Her foster parents gave her longer walks and spent more time letting her use nosework toys. There’s an anti-opening device on the door so she can no longer open the door, and her behavior has improved. She’s being trained for separation anxiety. * Potty Training: Indoor potty training is still in progress, with about a 70% success rate on pads. Prefers to relieve herself outdoors and always poops outside. * Hygiene: Doesn't enjoy baths or brushing, but tolerates them well. Is still a bit scared of the dryer and tends to run away to avoid it. For nail trimming, one more person is needed to hold her while another trims her nails. Her guardian is currently introducing her to tooth brushing gently with a soft gauze and rubber toothbrush. * Walks: Pulls hard on the leash when she sees cats. She’s gained confidence and has become stubborn on walks, so she’s being retrained. * Car Sickness: Doesn’t get car sick but is scared of bright lights like neon signs at night, preferring to be held by a person for comfort. * Biting: Never shows possessive, defensive, or aggressive biting behavior. * Barking: Occasionally whines briefly when her guardian comes home or comes back into a room. * Likes: Loves sleeping, treats, and going for walks. Enjoys lying on the grass and relaxing during walks outside. Likes biting hard objects like charger cables, plastic hangers, pencils, shoes, etc. Enjoys lying on the couch when her foster parents are not around. Likes being warm, so she enjoys wearing clothes. She even sleeps much more comfortably when wearing clothes! * Dislikes: Is scared when strangers approach or when she hears loud noises. Is frightened by neon signs and bright lights when riding in a car at night. Dislikes sitting on cold floors. Is afraid to go into a small, dark space, so she's reluctant to go into kennel or doggy house. * Tricks: Didn’t respond to her name at first, she’s started to show interest when she hears her name and sometimes even comes! Is being trained to give her paw, but doesn’t like her paws being touched. Is being trained to go in her kennel, but she still prefers to go in to take treats out rather than stay inside.

Story
Wednesday (aka Whinny) Purrs when you pet her or rub her belly. If you have been gone forever (10 minutes) she runs to you with abandon and hits a right slide just short of your feet, so she is in position for the Belly Rub, on contact. Shes unable to get on the furniture, and it is best to keep her off the couch and bed as a fall or even a jump could hurt her. She will sleep nicely in her own bed next to yours. She is happiest when you are touching her and she will snort. purr and snore to beat the band. She loves her person. Even though she has No separation anxieties and only barks when appropriate, she would rather look at her Forever Mom all the time. She is a great road dog. Loves to go on drives and walks at the beach or in the woods. Probably not the pup to help train for a marathon. She is not the dog that will insist on having your attention. If you pay her no mind, she will play alone. But she does like to cuddle on the floor. If you sit with her near you and say, "Hug Hug" and pat your chest she will jump in your lap and give you the belly with her head on you heart. She is afraid of the vacuum and mens shoes/feet. Men or women can pet her, and rub her belly and give treats, but she will react to men feet once they walk by her and she has most of her teeth. . Its very strange, but a real fear for her. She is fine with being in her kennel when there are (boy) visitors. I try not to think about what someone did you her in her young life. Wednesday would thrive in an all-girl home. . She is excellent at chasing away the deadly Bunny Rabbits, squirrels, but loves to watch the bees and butterflies. She is such and innocent gentle girl with sooo much love to give. She gets along with any dog who will let her sniff their butts. She absolutely loves her human. I feel quite safe walking her. She can sit, stay, get in the house, stay in the house, thats not your food. Once you meet her you will fall in love.

Story
Hi, my name is Lana.Im a sweet Frenchie who was dumped at the shelter with a broken femoral head the ball part of my hip joint an injury most often caused by serious trauma.Thankfully, the shelter reached out to Church of Pug, and they came for me. Because of them, I am now safe, cared for, and scheduled for surgery next week.My foster says I am incredibly gentle and loving, despite everything Ive endured. Its clear my past was not kind the burns around my neck tell a painful story but somehow, I still trust people. I still lean in for affection. I still believe in kindness. For the first time in a long while, I have a good feeling about this year. It feels like my life is finally beginning to change for the better. If youre able, please consider helping me on my healing journey. My hip replacement surgery is estimated to cost $3,500, and any support whether through donating or sharing my story truly means the world to me.Donations can be made via PayPal at churchofpug@gmail.com or via Venmo at ChurchofPug.Thank you for giving me a chance. My journey is just beginning.

Story
I was left abandoned at the shelter from a very questionable background. Unable to hold in any food my timeline was cut short at the shelter. Thank goodness Church of Pug said yes to giving me a chance. My foster mom took me to this dog doctor who did not think I had much time left. No one could explain what was happening with me. Luckily my foster mom and the dogtor did not give up on trying to find out what was causing me to be so sick. All I knew ... I was SO HUNGRY, but no matter how much I ate I could not gain weight, and my body was breaking down. Luckily, a special test gave everyone the answer ... I have something called Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI) which I guess means my pancreas does not work so well UNLESS I have these awesome enzymes that help me absorb nutrients AND I am FINALLY feeling full and getting healthy and strong. Even with all of these things I can proudly say I am completely potty trained. No accidents for me. I like my space ... and I gravitate to the cat vs. the other dogs in the house. I sleep through the night and when I want to be pet or cuddle, I put up my paw and gently grab your hand or arm. I am still unsure about people ... I don't like to be picked up ... so when I want on the couch I growl when I go from floor to next to you ... but then I stop. If I am not sure what you are doing or your intentions, I will growl. It's my way to say I'm uncomfortable but I would never hurt anyone, I swear. I am really trying to behave like a dog who is loved, vs a dog who was hurt. I believe I can learn to trust again I just hope my forever home has the patience to help me get to that happy place. For my comfort a home with kids and wild hyper pups would not suit me. I prefer the calmer of the pack and the kitty cat. I know I am ready to find my forever home now that I'm all healthy and strong. Is that potentially you?
