Story
DOB: 11/29/2021 Breed: German Shepherd mix -Spayed female 43lbs-Microchipped & fully vaccinated-Negative for heartworm & tick-borne diseases, and on a monthly preventative*Adoption Fee $350*A little bit about me… Pleased to meet you, I’m Mileena! Fierce in name, tender at heart. In the Mortal Kombat realm, I’d be known for my power moves, but here in the real world, my strength is in love and loyalty. I’m a very sweet girl with a gentle soul, though I battle with a different kind of fight: anxiety. I don’t like being left alone. My heart yearns for human comfort and connection, and my ideal forever home will have someone by my side most of the time. I walk like a proper lady on a leash, but I’m still training to keep my excitement in check when I see my favorite people. I came here with my bestie Kitana, and while I love playing with her, what I crave most is the warmth and reassurance of humans. If you’re looking for a companion who will stick by you through every round of life’s battles, I’m ready to join your team! The highlights…-Sweet demeanor-Very anxious -I do not like being left alone-Great walking buddyKey points to know…-Patience is Non-negotiable: An anxious dog will need extra time to adjust . Progress may come in small steps, so consistency, calm reassurance, and celebrating little wins are important.-Alone time requires training: Anxious dogs often struggle with separation, so gradual desensitization, interactive toys, and sometimes professional guidance will be needed to help them cope.-Routine is Comforting: A predictable schedule for meals, walks, and downtime helps reduce anxiety and builds trust, making them feel more secure in their new home.

Story
Her name is Kiki. She's about 2 1/2 years old. She is very energetic and does not like to share food with other animals. She has no problem with them otherwise. Ive had her for several months with no issue with my other dog until I walked away from a plate of my food and they both tried getting to it. She has never bit another person besides during play time but never hard enough to leave a mark or hurt. (I play very aggressively with both dogs to get their energy out). She loves people unconditionally and loves attention. My mother originally adopted her but could not handle her in an apartment and work all day. She just needs a yard she has access to and someone to give her tons of love when they get off work.

Story
Meet Gia the gorgeous 4 y/o shepherd! There is a whole lot of love in her 50-lb body. Gia is a happy, wiggly girl who loves to play with toys and give hugs and kisses. She is very friendly meeting new people and adores attention. Gia gets extra happy and affectionate around children and would love a forever home with kids. She is also a great walking/hiking buddy with excellent leash manners. Gia must be the only pet in the household. She is a very smart girl and looking for a family who will stimulate her and love her for the rest of her years.  Gia’s adoption fee of $350 helps offset the cost of medical expenses, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, and microchip. If you live in the Phoenix metro area and think she could be the right fit for you, please complete an adoption application*: helpadogsmile.org/adoption-application  *Please note that the application is not a commitment to adopt–it is a tool used to help determine if a dog and applicant would make a good match. Story
PLEASE NOTE: This dog is courtesy posted for another individual or Rescue. Different policies and fees may apply. FOSTER NEEDED: Meet Toby – A Loyal Soul Looking for Comfort Toby is a wise and wonderful 10-year-old German Shepherd who has been living in a boarding facility since December 2024. While his loving owner is working to secure a stable home, Toby needs a safe and peaceful foster home where he can stay temporarily. Could that be with you? About Toby: Sweet & Affectionate: Toby loves being around people and soaks up all the pets and attention he can get. Calm & Mellow: He’s unbothered by joggers, bikes, and other dogs—truly the definition of chill. Smart & Polite: Toby knows commands like “sit” and “shake” and takes treats very gently. Adventurous Spirit: Whether hiking trails, going for walks, or splashing in water, he’s always ready to join the fun. Car Companion: He might be a little nervous at first, but once on the road, he loves feeling the wind on his face. No cats or small dogs for Toby! Sadly, kennel life has been stressful for this sweet senior, and he’s ready for a calm, cozy environment where he can decompress and feel loved—even if it’s just for a little while. Can you open your heart and home to foster Toby? You’ll be giving him the gift of peace and comfort until his owner can bring him back home. Interested in fostering Toby?
