Story
Jaxon is a pint size bundle of fun! This boy walks on a leash, sits, knows leave it and his hidden talent of opening doors! He is beyond smart and loving and simply wants to be with his people, but is also kennel trained. He is fabulous with children - even young and I struggle to find any negative about this boy! He even barely sheds! At a whopping 24 pounds he is playful and also a terrific lap dog who will snuggle while you watch a movie. ZERO negative behavior. He's not even a chewer!

Disposition: A little timid/shy. Has not had a lot of human interaction/affection - seems sweet. *May not be good with cats Background: Chella’s owners/family moved out of state due to financial hardship and left their 5 dogs (2 shepherd mixes & 3 chihuahuas) for neighbors to re-home. She recently had a litter of 9 puppies, but has been spayed now and will only need to worry about finding herself a wonderful home with a family that will love and care for her FOREVER this time! She was living with Aldo and says it would be great if he could come with her to an awesome home! : ) Status: Chella is very ready to go to her new home filled with all of the love, comforts and proper care that dogs so deserve. She dreams of a new family that she can trust and just let her little hidden personality shine big for them!!!! Spayed, vaccinated and chipped.

Story
Hello, I am a single male seeking my forever mate. My name is Sir Duke (of Peoria), my foster Mom gave me this name, you may call me Duke for short. Honestly, I don't know what my name was when I was born, my former family left me and I had to fend for myself for months in a river wash. Whew! That was scary, I dug deep with courage until one day, this woman saw me and she was on a mission to get me rescued. You see I am of royal descent, my lineage is that of courage, strength, intelligence, loyalty, security, and a keen sense of smell. If you ask me, I am related to Rin Tin and Strongheart, my foster Mom rolls her eyes when I share this. I am seeking a lifetime partner or family, you must be a leader, after all, I am, which is exactly why I need a leader who will not put up with my shenanigans occasionally. Ladies, how many times have you heard from others, "oh I respect a strong, independent woman" only they don't mean it? Well, I mean it. If you are a woman who is independent and doesn't put up with nonsense, I am your man! My hobbies are and are not limited to hiking, playing fetch, seeking out new adventures (or scents), jogging, road trips (I love car rides!), striking a pose (my foster Mom taught me how to work the camera!), and more. Get this, my forever mate will receive a $500 professional photoshoot if you live in Phoenix, AZ. Yeah, I have it like that, I know all the important people with perks. I am a gentleman, you tell me to wait, I will; or, tell me that I have to sit and wait for my meal, I do. I learned very quickly to let you go through the door first and I follow. I will walk right by you when we are out, I had to learn to trust and not pull ahead. Oh yeah, I like my crate to be clean, all biz takes place outside. My foster Mom tells everyone that I am wicked intelligent, a rapid learner, and I am eager to please. Did she not hear me that I come from royal descent? Of course, I am! 😃 I need to be transparent, I am in therapy (training). No judgement! After all, don't we all have a dysfunction or two? See, I am an only "child" (dog) and never did grasp the concept of "play nicely with other children"(dogs), so, I have entered therapy to learn to play nicely. As my foster Mom says, I am a work in progress. I am trying hard, know that. Whew! Now that I got that off my paws... So, whacha say? Wanna meet for coffee? Maybe this will lead to lunch, then dinner and breakfast for a lifetime. I can't wait to meet you, Sir Duke Now, from me Sir Duke is a highly intelligent, eager-to-please, neutered German Shepherd male. He is 3 years of age, DOB 4-12-21, and weighs approximately 80 pounds. He is up-to-date with his vaccines and doesn't present with any known health issues. He is active; loves to hike, play fetch, and car rides, and does rest nicely in his crate. If you put a water bucket down and give him a Chuck-It ball, he will play dunk and retrieve with it. Ha! He doesn't display any recourse guarding with toys or food. He is in training to learn basic commands, pull on the leash, and become less reactive to other dogs. At this time, until his reactiveness towards other dogs decreases, he would be better suited in a home where he is the only dog. I have Shih Tzus and a Texas Lacy, and have been able to manage all of them, however, it is taking planning and ensuring all are in their crates to avoid any mishaps. Before training, I was able to get him to stop pulling on the leash, he learned quickly that when he walked by me vs pulling out in front of me, it was so much more comfortable and fun. He can be reserved when meeting new people, due to him being abandoned, he needs to relearn trust, just go slow and he will be fine. To his future family, his adoption will come with a free $500 professional photoshoot (must reside within the PHX area), and a lifetime of free consultations from Farley's Green Paw Consulting (should the need ever arise).

Poppy is a 2yo German Shepherd, Australian Shepherd, Australian Cattle dog mix. She was saved from the euthanasia list whyll she was pregnant. Although Poppy was in protective mode after she gave birth to her 5 beautiful pups she soon warmed up to her foster family. Now all of her pups are adopted it is her turn to find a loving home. She is absolutely the most loving and affectionate dog once she knows you. Wonderful hiking and walking partner! All dogs are located in foster homes in southeast Arizona. The foster home is between Benson and Willcox just south of Interstate 10. Please contact Carrie to arrange meet and greets. Carrie can be reached at fedwellfarm@yahoo.com, or 602-316-8919 No texts please. Spearmint is a LOVE!!! Spearmint was found as a stray in Phoenix. 'Minty' came to Fedwell Farm about a year ago. His wonderful personality has really come out and he is a foster favorite. Minty is very smart, you can tell him NO and he will not do that behavior again! For instance, the foster mom caught him pulling the stuffing out of a dog bed, she said NO and he has not ever done that behavior again! The beds are safe! Minty has the cutest grin. He should have had braces; we just love it when he smiles! His crooked teeth do NOT cause any eating problems. He loves people. He gets along with everyone! He even can be with dog aggressive dogs; he just is the greatest boy! Spearmint is 11 years old, probably a bit younger, but he is a senior boy. Minty does not seem to have any age-related disorders. He goes to the barn and helps his foster mom with chores. He can go for long walks, hikes etc., he is in great shape! He weight is approximately 80 pounds. Spearmint had been a volunteer favorite and walks very well on a leash. Spearmint can go for walks; hikes and his age does not limit him at all. We really think he is younger than 11 Please come meet Spearmint and give him the life he truly deserves. 602-316-8919 (no texts please)July 24, 2024, 9:08 am

SWEET 8 YEAR OLD GSD GIRL SEEKS FOREVER HOMEAll dogs are located in foster homes in southeast Arizona, between Benson and Willcox just off Interstate 10. It is approximately 2 1/2 hours from the Phoenix area or 1 hour east of Tucson. DALILA was picked up as a stray by Animal Control. Dalila is approximately 8 years old and weighed 73 pounds. Dalila became a staff and volunteer favorite at the county shelter. While she came in shy and skeptical, she realized going on walks with the volunteers was a wonderful thing. Dalila can be a little shy when you first meet her, but she warms up quickly with a gentle touch and kind word. This beautiful senior girl would love a home and family to spend the rest of her years with. She has been an absolutely wonderful girl in her foster home. Dalila has nice leash manners and will be a terrific addition to a family. Please come meet Dalila and let her know how wonderful humans can be! Story
Astro is a very energetic playful young boy at just about 1 year. Fully housebroken and vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He does have some rough play with other dogs but is dog friendly with those that can match his energy. Walks pretty good on a leash but being young could use some consistency. Fine with kids, but he's an energetic boy so watch those kids so he doesn't accidentally knock them over.
