Story
Hi, my name is Wyoming! I may have had a rough patch recently, but I'm still wagging my tail and ready for new adventures. Losing my human was tough, but I'm grateful for the chance to stay with her mom and still see her regularly.I used to be a backyard pro, but those wild winds wreaked havoc on my fence, and suddenly, the world beyond became too tempting to resist. I started exploring farther and farther from home, which didn't sit well with the neighbors. Despite my friendly demeanor, they couldn't overlook the wandering. So, off to the shelter I went, in search of a new place with sturdy boundaries.I'm a sleek, solid black German Shepherd with just a tiny white tip on my tail, adding a dash of uniqueness to my appearance. Long walks are my jam, and I'm thrilled to be making new furry friends along the way. As for cats and kids, I'm not entirely sure about them yet, but I'm open to giving it a shot.I'm a smart cookie, eager to please, and ready to soak up all the love and attention you have to offer. Plus, I've got a big day ahead with a neutering appointment and a photo shoot-talk about a pup on the rise!

Story
Hi there, I'm Fresca, a lively and affectionate pup on the lookout for a forever home filled with love and laughter! My journey hasn't been the smoothest, but I'm staying optimistic because I know the perfect family is out there just waiting to find me.You see, I found myself without a home when I innocently followed my previous owner to school one day. Who could resist the temptation of tagging along? But alas, my presence raised some eyebrows, and the principal made the necessary calls. Before I knew it, Animal Control swooped in and took me to the shelter. But don't let that little hiccup define me! I've been taken care of here-I've had all my vaccines and tested negative for heartworm. Plus, I'm just a pup at around 10 months old, still growing and learning about the world around me. At 40 lbs, I'm not exactly a lap dog, but I've got plenty of love to give and energy to spare. What I really crave is a home where I can thrive, whether that's with a family full of kids ready to play or alongside another furry friend, be it a dog or even a cat-I'm open to making friends of all stripes! If you're searching for a loyal companion who will shower you with affection and stick by your side through thick and thin, then look no further because I'm your girl, Fresca, ready to bring joy and companionship into your life.

Story
Hi there, I'm Mikey, a lively and lovable canine with a tail that wags faster than you can say "treat!" My journey so far has been one of resilience and hope, and I'm eagerly awaiting my next chapter with a forever family. My previous owner made a tough decision on April 16, 2024. They realized that the shabby state of our backyard fence just couldn't keep up with my spirited nature. Rather than watch me feel penned in, they made the selfless choice to surrender me to find a new home where I could thrive. At just over a year old, having celebrated my first birthday in March 2024, I'm still very much a puppy at heart. Playtime is my favorite time, whether it's chasing a ball, exploring new scents, or simply enjoying a good belly rub. And speaking of health, I'm neutered, vaccinated, and while I tested low positive for heartworms, I'm on the road to recovery thanks to a special grant set up by the animal shelter.I may be a tad particular when it comes to canine companions-males make me a bit wary, but spayed females are like peanut butter to my jelly. But above all, my heart belongs with humans. I thrive on their company and can't wait to shower my new family with endless tail wags and affection. So, if you're searching for a furry friend to fill your days with laughter and love, look no further. I'm here, patiently waiting for that special someone to give me a second chance and create countless new memories together. Let's embark on this journey of companionship and joy, shall we?

Story
Meet Chase, the seasoned adventurer with a heart of gold. They say I'm a Shepherd mix, but who can truly define the complexity of my lineage? My coat tells a story of years spent under the sun, with shades of black and brown, interwoven with the wisdom of age. You might notice a few graying strands around my face, a testament to the countless journeys I've embarked on.My journey took an unexpected turn on April 21st, 2024. A stranger became a guardian angel as they found me darting across a bustling roadway. With a heart full of compassion, they scooped me up and brought me to the shelter, offering me a chance at a new beginning.Life has thrown me a curveball with a positive heartworm test, but fear not, for the shelter has promised to guide me through the treatment process once I find a forever home. Despite this hiccup, I remain the epitome of coolness, my spirit undaunted by the challenges I face.At least eight years old, possibly more, I've bid farewell to the playful antics of youth. Instead, I yearn for the warmth of companionship, for someone to share sunsets and lazy afternoons with. My days of puppyhood are behind me; now, I seek the comfort of a loving home where I can settle down and bask in the simple joys of life. So, won't you consider coming to meet me? Together, we can create new memories and embark on a journey filled with love, laughter, and the unwavering loyalty only a senior dog like me can offer.

Story
Cookie was abandoned by his homeless owner and left on the street. A neighborhood BYB picked him up. He was kept out in a small 4 foot pen and never allowed out. Cookie was heartworm positive. I assisted with his rescue and several other dogs on the property after reporting the person for her illegal operations. Cookie received heartworm treatment and is free from heartworms now. He's neutered and trained to do tricks for treats. Great dog, housebroken, loving and friendly to other dogs. I let him play with all my new Intakes. Great for a older gentleman who is retired and likes to go for walks. Cookie can also hike the trails with young females. He's very versatile.

Meet Corky Fostering in Arkansas Here's the link to our adoption application: HTTPS://form.jotform.com/Petmatchmaker/Adopt Corky is the sweetest boy you will meet. He is gentle and loves everyone he meets. He loves to take naps on the couch with his foster mom or out in the sun on the porch. When he is not napping, he is in the yard playing with the 8 other dogs in the house. He gets along with all the different personalities. He has been around kids from 1 year old to 18. His foster family has family dinners periodically that include around 20 people. Corky enjoys getting love from everyone that visits. His favorite is the follow the almost 2-year-old grandchild around the yard. They even have their own conversations, but we don't want to know what they are saying. Corky is house-trained (does have a dog door), crate trained and has pretty good house manners. Most of her babies have found their forever homes, now it is her turn. Lilibeth is a very sweet girl that enjoys spending time with her family. She is a great medium size dog at 46 pounds. She follows her foster mom around the house frequently just to see what she is doing. Her favorite place to be is on the couch next to anyone getting love. She adores kids, and will follow them were ever they go. Lilibeth is house trained, crate trained and doing great at all her manners.
