Strong, intelligent, and full of energy, she would make an amazing jogging or activity partner for someone with an active lifestyle. She is fully potty-trained and enjoys learning, especially when treats are involved! Heidi loves her chew toys and thrives in a stable environment where she can get regular exercise and attention. Because of her size and strength, Heidi would do best in a home without young children, cats, or small dogs. She prefers to be the only pet, though a calm, well-matched canine companion could be considered with proper introductions and gentle play. She can tolerate short periods in a crate but is happiest when she has space to move and be part of the family. Heidi is friendly with people and ready to bond with someone who can provide the structure, love, and activity she needs. Think you might be the perfect match? Cookie was abandoned by his homeless owner and left on the street. A neighborhood BYB picked him up. He was kept out in a small 4 foot pen and never allowed out. Cookie was heartworm positive. I assisted with his rescue and several other dogs on the property after reporting the person for her illegal operations. Cookie received heartworm treatment and is free from heartworms now. He's neutered and trained to do tricks for treats. Great dog, housebroken, loving and friendly to other dogs. I let him play with all my new Intakes. Great for a older gentleman who is retired and likes to go for walks. Cookie can also hike the trails with young females. He's very versatile.
