Story
🐾 Meet Midland! 🐾Midland is a stunning 1-year-old German Shepherd, weighing just under 90 pounds! 🐶 He's not just handsome; he's an absolute sweetheart, eager to find his forever home. Midland is a ball enthusiast, and his world revolves around a game of fetch. 🎾 He's always ready to play, though he might need a little coaching on waiting patiently for you to pick up the ball again. But with some consistent training, he'll get the hang of it in no time! This big guy is looking for a home where he can put his intelligence and energy to good use. 🏡 He thrives with a job to do and would benefit greatly from ongoing obedience training. Midland shows potential for getting along with female dogs, especially in a working environment, given the right introduction. When it comes to smaller animals and children, patience and proper introductions will be the best plan, as he is a big boy with a speedy brain! 🌟 He needs someone who will respect his boundaries as much as he respects theirs. In just under 12 hours, Midland has already learned how to sit and "touch" with a little guidance. He's a quick learner and is eager to please his humans! However, Midland still needs to learn to be gentle with his mouth and requires training on not pulling on the leash. 💪He is currently learning to walk on a halter and is doing amazing with that ! He's very strong and with some patient guidance, he'll learn to control his strength and behaviour effectively. Are you ready to put in the effort to help Midland reach his full potential and provide him with the loving home he deserves? 🐾 Let's make memories together! Please submit an online application to be considered for his forever family. ~~This dog is **NOT** in the care of the Alternative Humane Society. Please reach out to the owner directly at darrenheystek12@gmail.com  Thank you~~ Captain was born in late May of 2019 and we got him as a pup. Looking for someone to rehome him to, we feel that we are lacking on time right now to spend with him, so he gets a little mischievous :) Want him to go to a good home that will treat him right. Loves kids, we have kids between 1 and 6, and he does great with all of them. He lives to play fetch, hauls anything over that he can grab if he can't find his ball at the time. He does pretty well with neighbor dogs, just does not like being surprised from behind by another dog. Lived with our cat for about a year... took a little getting used to but got along fine shortly after. This winter he was in the vet to get all of his vaccines up to date as well as getting neutered. Should be good to go! ~~This dog is **NOT** in the care of the Alternative Humane Society. Please reach out to the owner directly at darrenheystek12@gmail.com  Thank you~~ ##2022089##

Story
Hello everyone, I just updated my profile with videos playing with kids, cats and rabbit. Hi there! My name is PHOENIX (Happy) and here is some info about me:Breed: German ShepardAge: 3years (22/03/2021)Gender: female Weight: 66 lbsHeight: 22-1/2 inches I had been in a car accident and my leg was infected. Sadly, they could not save my leg. So now I am a tripaw. My rescuers are having an artificial leg made for me. Gentle and playful is what you will find with me. I still get around pretty good too. In fact, I am a fairly active pup. I get along well with dogs of all sizes, including small ones and even cats (I find them curious.) I find them amusing, but not necessarily all that interesting. I am smart & easily trainable, hey I'm a German Shepard, would you expect anything less? I'm a sweet girl with a faithful and loyal nature. I know you are ready for an awesome girl like me. Just waiting for your application. I'm good with kids, cats and even a rabbit. Please see my videos with cats and rabbits and kids https://youtu.be/f6VNmWQOHeU https://youtu.be/4prrQ37wQ5g https://youtu.be/dg5th_XIoNA Another vid of me: https://youtu.be/YIor50YdbTs. Energy Level: moderate to moderate-high Get along with:Dogs, yesCats, yesKids, yes Prey drive: low to low-moderate Fears: unknown, not observed Training: noneLeash skills, minimum. Will need continued patient training.House trained, no. Please be prepared to help me learn! Health notes: I am a tripaw.I have been spayed/neutered, *vaccinated & micro-chipped.  My adoption fee is $700.00 CAD + applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver.  Due to ongoing limits on Vancouver flights yet, additional fees will apply if flying from another city. Unaccompanied Cargo costs within Canada: $275-$500 per dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. I will be on the first available flight, as I need to leave the Middle East as soon as possible. If a flight directly to Vancouver is not found quickly after I've found a family, the extra cost for cargo to Vancouver will not be optional.  Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. More information can be found on our website. *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordatella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East.  ##1213054##
