Story
Dax is an almost 2 year old Male German Shepherd. He has been friendly towards other dogs and the people he has been meeting. He was used to breed, and was no longer needed. He is a big boy, weighing in around 70lbs likely. He has a good amount of energy and is currently receiving some basic training to help him find the perfect home. He seems to be mostly house trained, he does well in a kennel, and is eager to please. We think this big baby will make the perfect addition to a semi active home.

Story
Hi I'm Nala! I was found as a stray in the Miami area before coming to GOFAR. I appear to have had puppies in the past, but raising babies and fighting to survive are behind me now! I'm happy and healthy and ready for my forever home. I'm estimated at about 2.5 years old, weigh around 60 lbs and I'm a Shepherd mix, but a little on the shorter side. I'm really super cute and very people friendly, but can be dog selective. I would do better with a calmer, well-balanced dog. My $250 adoption fee has been reduced to $100 thanks to the 2024 Kia Pet Adoption Grant and includes deworming, all vetting, up to date shots, heartworm test (negative) microchip and spay, all already done. If you are interested in adopting me, please complete an application at www.gofar.dog under Adopt. If you have questions, email my rescue at adoptions@gofar.dog. Story
Hi, I'm Bernie! I was lost and on my own before the good people at Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue stepped up to help me. Now that I'm fully vetted and healthy, I am ready for a home of my own. I am a good boy who loves my walks! I am people friendly and good with female dogs. I would do best in a home without other male dogs or cats (they're fun to chase!). I'm even housebroken!. The shelter thinks I'm a smaller German Shepherd mix and a bit over 4 years old. I weigh in around 45-50 pounds. My adoption fee of $250 has been lowered to $100 thanks to the 2024 Kia Pet Adoption Grant and covers my up-to-date vaccines, microchip, heartworm test (negative), neuter, and all the TLC I have received here. If you'd like to make me part of your family, please go to www.gofar.dog and complete an adoption application. If you have questions, email my rescue at adoptions@gofar.dog. Story
Meet Praline, who was found in a cardboard box with her siblings when they were about 6 weeks old. Luckily all of the puppies made it to Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue for much-needed care. Praline has grown up at the rescue and doesn't understand why she keeps getting overlooked. She is a very sweet girl, just over a year old and around 60 lbs. She graduated from obedience classes and has learned basic commands as well as leash walking. Praline really needs a home of her own and a family to love. Praline is a very good girl and like any young dog and will need continued training to build on what she is learning now.Her $250 adoption fee has been reduced to $100 thanks to the 2024 Kia Pet Adoption Grant and covers up-to-date vaccines, vetting, deworming, heartworm test (negative), microchip, and spay. Hi I'm Hans! I was found abandoned in the Miami area. Fortunately, a Good Samaritan brought me to Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue where I received the general and medical care I needed to be ready for my forever home.
