Story

We found Bear starving, roaming the street a year ago. He is very energetic and listens very well. He is great in the car, with horses, at the beach, doesn't bark or pull toward other dogs when on a leash. He is good with children and loves attention from anyone. He loves to snuggle and is very vocal, although he is quiet inside the house and wont bark, even if my other dogs are sounding the alarm. I have 2 other dogs, Bear is great with the female but my male Blue Heeler mix is very territorial and picking fights with Bear and currently we are keeping them separated. Bear is fearful of him and it would be best if he has a home with lots of space to run and possibly a female dog as a companion, but he would also be a great only dog. We have been trying for over a year to re home him without luck. He does not do well in a crate. He is very smart, learns commands quickly, but gets very anxious when left alone especially during storms. We just want the best life for him.

Story

I am a sweet and gorgeous girl who was transferred here from another shelter because I was on their urgent list. Now, I’ve been given a fresh start and another chance to find my person. I am hoping this is the stop where my story changes for good. I may have had an uncertain journey getting here, but I am so ready for a safe, loving home where I can finally settle in and know that I belong. I should probably mention that I am house-trained and friendly with other dogs! You might notice something special about me right away — one ear stands tall while the other likes to flop! And if my mismatched ears don’t make you smile, I don’t know what will! Ask to meet me — I might just be the girl you’ve been waiting for. This 5-year-old, 65lbs sweet girl is good with other dogs, house-trained, and walks great on the leash.Trini went to the Good Times Dog Bar in Flagler Beach and did great with all the dogs, big and small, and all the people! She LOVED playing in the water, even putting her face in the water and splashing around! Trini is very scared of cars, but with some positive exposure, she has the potential to become comfortable in a car. Currently, for outreach events, we have her get into a crate outside our van, then load the crate with her into the van. She refuses to even come close to the vehicle and does not like to be picked up.

Story

I am a gorgeous young girl with a heart full of love. Sadly, I ended up in the shelter after being found as a stray, but I should mention that I am very well-mannered, walk nicely on a leash, and I already know how to “sit” for treats! As an added bonus, I am the perfect size for hugs and cuddles! I am still young and have so much learning potential, so I would thrive in a home with a loving family who will help me continue to blossom and learn new tricks. Whether we are out playing or snuggled up together, I promise to be your most loyal and perfect best friend for life. Ask to meet me! I can’t wait to steal your heart. Weighs around 45 lbs - Affectionate, Walks great on a leash, Treat-motivated

Story

I am a gorgeous and friendly girl. I was transferred here from another shelter, because I was out of time and on their “urgent” list. My story could have ended there, but thankfully, I was given a second chance at finding my forever home. Now I’m hoping someone special will see me, fall in love, and give me the happy ending I’ve been waiting for. I’ve got one blue eye and one brown eye, which makes me extra unique and beautiful. It isn’t all about looks for me though. I’m affectionate, walk very politely on a leash and know some basic commands. I’ve already been given a second chance at life, and all I need now is someone to share it with. Could that someone be you?Snow is a gentle, 6-year-old, 65-pound dog who walks calmly on a leash and is very friendly.

Story

Georgia was placed in a kill shelter in GA. She is between 8-10 years old, is a senior dog through and through. She’s playful, spunky, has a great personality and is looking for her forever home. Georgia loves to be outside, and loves to be with someone as much as possible during the day. She does have some medical concerns but is a stable senior looking for the right home to let her live out her senior days. Short walks are best. And a big water bowl to dunk her snoot in! We are hopeful she will find her forever home.
