Story
We found Bear starving, roaming the street a year ago. He is very energetic and listens very well. He is great in the car, with horses, at the beach, doesn't bark or pull toward other dogs when on a leash. He is good with children and loves attention from anyone. He loves to snuggle and is very vocal, although he is quiet inside the house and wont bark, even if my other dogs are sounding the alarm. I have 2 other dogs, Bear is great with the female but my male Blue Heeler mix is very territorial and picking fights with Bear and currently we are keeping them separated. Bear is fearful of him and it would be best if he has a home with lots of space to run and possibly a female dog as a companion, but he would also be a great only dog. We have been trying for over a year to re home him without luck. He does not do well in a crate. He is very smart and learns commands after 1 or 2 repetitions. He's a big baby, has the best temperament of all our rescues, we want the best life for him

I am a sweet young boy who sadly ended up at the shelter due to my previous owner facing health issues. I can seem a bit shy at first, but that’s just because it is a little scary in here for me, and my outgoing personality will shine through once I get to know you a bit. I am so ready to begin a new chapter with a forever-loving family. I enjoy going for walks, running in the yard, and playing in the water! I am also house-trained and friendly with cats! If you’re seeking a loving and loyal companion who is more than excited to join you on all of life’s adventures, I might be the perfect match! Ask to meet me! I can’t wait to join your family!Weighs around 85 lbs - House-trained! - Good with cats! - Sweet, affectionate boy.Was here as a puppy, we have his puppy photo available ),: Adoption Fee Sponsored!

Story
I am a sweet and gentle girl who sadly ended up here in the shelter after my owner passed away. As I heal from a broken heart, I am eager to begin a new chapter with a loving family. I am both crate-trained and house-trained, enjoy car rides, and have lived well with other dogs. I already know commands, such as “sit”, “down”, “come”, “paw”, “stay”, “lie down”, “out”, and “off”! Bonus points for a fenced-in yard! I can be a little shy at first, but I’m the kind of dog who just needs a little time and patience to feel safe - and once I do, my social and outgoing side comes out, and I’m ready to give you my whole heart! If you’re looking for a friendly, gentle companion who will bond deeply and appreciate a soft place to land - I might be your girl! Ask to meet me! I would love to take a walk with you... and then maybe crash with you forever?Weighs around 58 lbs - House-trained - Good with other dogs! - Affectionate

Story
This if Frankie. She is a 6 year old Shepherd Husky mix. She was adopted at age 1 from a rescue in Virginia. Frankie had severe anxiety issues upon adoption. Over the years it has tremendously leveled out but she still has some nerves when left alone for long periods. She does best outside of crate. She does do well with certain dogs who are not dominant, and very friendly playful dogs, usually smaller dogs or males. She needs a fenced in yard and an active lifestyle. She is a dog who is best being side by side doing everything with you. She’s great and obedient. Good at outdoor restaurants. Loves the beach and hiking. She used to be off leash trained but hasn’t been off leash in 2 years. She is also occasionally incontinent due to her spay and breed. We unfortunately have to rehome her and our golden doodle due to our daughter’s severe allergies.Flexible on adoption fee

Story
We are asking for someone to give our Nova a good home and some fun loving attention that’s much needed. We took her in as an abandoned puppy and got all her shots and two months ago got her spayed. We have a 18 month old little boy and him and Nova get along great. We have a new baby on the way and we just simply do not give her the attention she needs for the energy she has. She will be a year old next month approx. according to the vet.
