I am a sweet and handsome boy, looking for my forever family. I might seem a bit shy at first, but with a little time and patience, you will see just how loyal and loving I can be. I walk nicely on a leash and enjoy peaceful strolls where I can be right by your side, taking in the world around us. I have lived well with other dogs and small children! I am also very smart and intuitive with a lot of training potential. Story
Really good dog. Comes from good parents was the last dog of our last litter that didn’t sell. We just don’t have room for her or the time she is well trained and good with kids and we have another dog and cat. It’s just too much for two dogs or other dog is older. Would be a great family dog.

Story
Juju is a sweet, gentle girl who is fairly new to our rescue and needs some extra time to come out of her shell. She is very shy around new people and very nervous around new places but once she trusts you (treats help), she will be the most loyal and loving companion. After trying to avoid both of her new foster parents and creating distance at first, she is now climbing up on the couch and slowly becoming open to belly rubs and ear scratches. Juju would do best in a very calm and patient home where she can feel safe and continue on building up her confidence. She needs a kind hearted human who understands that love sometimes takes time but is also willing to help with guiding her to become brave. If you think you are that person, she will be your best friend for life. Her adoption fee is $300 To proceed, please visit our adoption requirements and send in an application via www.dbgsdrescue.org

Story
Meet Griswold! He is estimated to be around 10 months old and came to us from a shelter in Georgia. He was flown to Daytona Beach by Pilots N Paws and was a perfect passenger. He originally went to a foster to adopt home but it was quickly determined that it was not a good match as his prey drive for cats was too intense, so we moved him to a different home. His transition from one place to another was stressful, he was anxious and nervous and it took him a few weeks to finally settle in, so there is a chance that he will go through the same stage when he goes to his forever home. And this is why we need a family who is a 100% committed to him and will not bounce him around. Griswold will need work on crate training and consistent reinforcement to help him adjust comfortably. We have discovered that having another dog in a crate next to him is a comfort zone so another dog in the household is a must. Another thing we learned about him while in foster care is that he always wants to be close to you and will follow you around, no matter what you're doing so if you value your privacy in the bathroom, he is not the dog for you (lol). He is a wonderful walking partner, excellent on a leash, has been around other dogs and he's used to being around a toddler, but as always, due to the herding gene, we suggest that dog and toddler time are always supervised. We are looking for someone who has time and devotion to fit Griswold into their daily routine. He is located in Edgewater, FL and ready for meets and greets. His adoption fee is $300. Adoption requirements and application are located on our website at www.dbgsdrescue.org
