Story
Hi there! My name is Ralph. I ended up here from a nearby town on 5/18. I hear the folks here say I'm handsome, goofy, fun and loving--all wrapped into one great dog! Who doesn't like to hear compliments like that? I hope that my awesomeness will get me adopted soon! Since I'm young and energetic, I'm hoping for a fenced yard, a secure farm home OR people who will take me on walks. (I don't want to live on a tie-out; I've heard about that life and want no part of it!) Since I'm only about a year old, I am looking forward to long life with love and manners so I will be my very best self! I'm a smart dog, so it won't take me long to learn things...and I really want to please humans! Recently, I went to what is called a Spring Festival. I was the BEST dog there! I had so much fun playing with the other dogs and seeing all the people! I was god with all the littles---even toddlers! My hobbies are running in the play yard, learning to sit, and getting petted. Getting scratched on my back and ears are the BEST! And, I take treats very gently and walk easy on a leash too! My dream family will be one with adults and kids who will spend time with me...playing, teaching me stuff and loving on me. I get along with other dogs, and love to play with them. And I don't bother the cats here at the shelter, but...I might chase one if it started running. (I know that some of us german shepherds are known to do that, unless we are trained otherwise.) If you are looking for an all-around great young boy who is smart, playful AND cuddly, I'm your guy! 💚 ........... Please come meet this sweet soul soon! We do ADOPTIONS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, on a first-come/first serve basis. The EASIEST and QUICKEST way to make an appointment is to click the blue "Book Now" button at the top of our Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/maccoanimalcontrol. Story
Yin is 5 1/2 years old, she has a distrusting attitude towards some men, not all. She can get along with cats, does tend to case them on occasion. She has a behavioral issue when it comes to food of any kind being left out around her. She will listen to certain commands as well as hand gestures, needs work. She is good with children, tends to knock them over on accident with her size, she is excitable and full of energy. Walking with her can be a struggle as she does like to pull when excited.

Story
These two trouble makers are very loving and love to give kisses. Always wanting to play and kind to whomever comes by. They want a lot of attention and companionship. We are expecting a newborn baby soon and will not be able to fulfill their needs. We want to look for serious people who would spend time and care for these two boys. They are great with kids and other animals. They are Shepard pit husky mix. So you can imagine how hyper and playful they can be. But they are both also sweet hearts just wanting someone to share their excitement with. Our last resort is to put them in a shelter, and we really don’t want to do that. We hope to find someone who will love them. They aren’t even a year old yet So there is some training they will need. Please feel free to ask more questions and we will get back to you asap. Have a blessed day.

Story
Cody is a German Shepherd mix, 6-7 years old. I adopted him 2.5 years ago from a shelter. He is a 1-2 person dog; he seems to get very attached to one person. He is great in the house, potty trained, calm, no separation anxiety, likes to lay around, not a lap dog, but likes petting. Does not dig, does not challenge fences. Pretty low energy in the house but does like to walk when possible. I am looking for a new home for him mainly because he is not good with children and it is mandatory that my dog is kid-friendly. He is not friendly with strangers and I have family that visit. Can be put in another room/crate for a short visit. He becomes reactive in the evening, I live with 2 roommates since I got Cody but in the evening he has started barking, growling and did bite my one roommate recently. In short, Cody is low maintenance in the rt xxxx@xxxx.x a low stimulus home with few visitors, no kids, single or couple that understands reactive dogs.Ok w chickens, not around cats

Story
Ace is looking for a forever home that will provide him with structure & stability.  Ace is super intelligent & very food motivated.  An active home or one where he will be included in activities would probably be best for this guy.  He would make a great walking, running or hiking partner.  Best suited for a home with older children. Ace is approximately 2yo, neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm negative & microchipped. He is available for foster or adoption. His adoption donation is $100.00. If interested in Ace, please complete an application at sapamo.webs.com.  June 6, 2023, 1:51 pm

Story
Zeus is great dog first and foremost! He refuses though to stay in our yard though and there's nothing we can about it besides tether him. We've had him his whole life he's one year old (April 25) and plays well with out other dogs. He's cuddly and protective of me especially. We don't have kids so he's never been around them. He needs room to run, play, and be loved!

Story
Meet Colson. Colson came to us as a stray in May. While it seems unlikely that he could be a full-blooded Dutch Shepherd, he sure looks and acts like one! Colson is a completely handsome guy that catches your eye immediately. He is not only a real looker but also has a tender spirit with some cute, playfulness included. He is fun to be around and behaves really well once he runs his morning energy off. Then he settles down very easily. He will be an absolutely wonderful companion to any family. Colson is good with dogs and definitely with kids. He dreams of a home where they understand his need for physical and mental exercise. Highly trainable and wanting to please, he will do great in a home that truly understands smart and loyal dogs. He's just an all-around great boy! Dutch Shepherds are not common and we are not sure Colson is one. But...Google for yourself. You can learn more about the breed here: https://www.petguide.com/breeds/dog/dutch-shepherd ........
