Story
Meet Clover! This handsome almost 6-month-old, 60-pound German Shepherd mix is looking for his forever family. Clover was adopted as a young puppy but sadly returned when things didn’t work out with a small child in the home. True to his breed, Clover is energetic, athletic, and incredibly smart. He’ll thrive with structure, boundaries, and continued training. At the rescue, he’s shown a sweet and submissive side, and he gets along well with other dogs. He absolutely loves walks, playtime, and soaking up attention. We believe Clover is house trained, and with his intelligence and eagerness to learn, he’s sure to be a quick study in his new home. Because of his energy and shepherd nature, Clover would do best in a home with older children (if any) and a family ready to give him the guidance, activity, and love he needs to grow into his full potential.

Story
Meet Lola! Lola is a 3-year-old Labrador / German Shepherd mix who came to the shelter with her sister, Lulu, after being found running at large. She’s a sweet, goofy, and playful girl with a heart full of love, and she’s ready to find her forever home.Recently, Lola had to undergo exploratory surgery, and she has been an absolute trooper throughout the process. She’s a great patient, handling restraint, nail care, and staples with patience and grace.Lola is very social and enjoys being around people. She’s shown interest in cats, and she loves interactive play, toys, and mental stimulation. Like her sister, she’s an energetic girl who would do best with an active family who can provide outlets for both physical and mental exercise. A secure fenced yard is recommended, and dog interaction is preferred to help her channel her playful energy.Lola is a resilient, affectionate, and joyful companion who is ready to bring love, laughter, and energy into the right home.

Story
Meet Atlas – The Handsome, Water-Loving Shadow At around 2 years old, Atlas is a smart, playful, and affectionate pup who’s equal parts adventure buddy and cuddle companion. He came to PAC as a stray in September and quickly showed us he’s the full package — charm, smarts, and a heart of gold.Atlas loves everything that makes life fun: splashing in water, chasing tennis balls, and showing off his tricks — sit, shake, high five, and even “speak!” He’s also a big fan of flirt pole play, which helps him burn energy and stay sharp. He enjoys playing with other dogs and would likely love a canine buddy in his future home.Once Atlas feels safe, he’s an incredibly loyal and affectionate dog who bonds deeply. His foster calls him her “shadow” — because wherever she goes, he’s right there beside her. He’ll follow you from room to room, curl up next to you on the couch, and happily snooze by your side all night long. He’s a big softie who thinks he’s a lapdog, loves belly rubs, and gives the sweetest hugs.Atlas can be shy or vocal when meeting new people, but give him a few minutes and he’ll melt into your best friend. Once he knows you, he remembers you and greets you with full-body excitement every time. He’ll thrive with an active, dog-savvy family who understands strong, athletic breeds and can keep him mentally and physically engaged. Atlas will absolutely need a secure 6-foot fence — he’s proven he can be quite the escape artist and is very motivated by squirrels and rabbits! A sturdy harness (like a 3-in-1) and consistent positive training will help keep this handsome guy safe and focused.Atlas is a bright, loving boy who just needs structure, patience, and someone who’ll appreciate his loyal, goofy heart. In return, he’ll be your shadow, your adventure partner, and your biggest fan — every single day.

🐕 RASCAL 🐕 Hi there — I’m Rascal, and I’m really glad you’re here reading about me. 💙 I’m a 4.5-year-old, 42-lb Shepherd mix who recently made a big journey from Oklahoma, where I was rescued just before being euthanized. Now I’m safe, cared for, and ready to start the next (and best) chapter of my life. I’m still new, so my friends are learning more about me every day — but here’s what we know so far: 🐾 Friendly boy who enjoys human attention 🎾 Playful and happy to engage ⚡ Moderate energy level — I like activity but also appreciate downtime 🐕 Curious and adaptable as I settle into a new environment Because I’m a new arrival, my personality is still unfolding, and being in a foster or forever home will help me truly shine. A home setting will allow me to decompress, build confidence, and show you the very best version of Rascal. If you’re looking for a fun, sweet, medium-sized companion — and want to make a life-saving difference — I’d love to meet you. 👉 To read more about me, set up a meet & greet, and apply to foster or adopt, click the link! #Rascal #RescueDog #ShepherdMix #FosterOrAdopt #SecondChanceDog #AdoptDontShop #StrayPawsRescue 🐾💙
