This pretty, friendly, energetic girl needs a home. She was found wandering Forest Park. Took her to the vet, she had no chip. Approx. 1 yr old. Park Ranger said she had been seen wandering the park for a couple weeks, so seems she was dumped there, (said it's a common dumping area). APA couldn't take her and didn't want to take her to a kill shelter so trying to find her a home. I sadly cannot keep her. She loves to play fetch. Bought her a squeaky ball and she will literally place it in your lap and look at you until you toss it. She is basically housebroken, as long as you take her out regularly. She is high energy. In my opinion, she would do best with a family that can play with her, or someone that has a yard for her to run around in or some way to stimulate her daily. The neighborhood kids love her, she gives kisses, and squirrels are her nemesis for some reason haha. She has been spayed and vaccinated since finding her. She has a chip now that can be registered.

Handsome can't even begin to describe Baxter. This fun loving 61lb shepherd mix found himself homeless after being picked up as a stray in rural Oklahoma. The wonderful staff at the shelter cared for and found him a rescue ❤️. Baxter made his way to Missouri and has been "All Smiles" since. He's proven to be dog & kid friendly, his foster mom has a cat, so far, Baxter is just curious. We are guessing his age at around 18 months. He kept his area clean at the shelter and his foster mom said he's only had a couple of accidents in his new environment. She is attaching strongly and, for her sake, it would be best that she attach to her furever family. Heidi needs a patient, understanding family who will continue to show her that people are good and trustworthy and kind and predictable— and aren’t going to put her back into a crate. Although growing in confidence daily, Heidi is still cautious around new people and needs a family who will give her the time she needs to trust them—not one who wants an immediate adventure buddy. Heidi would do best in a home with another (playful) dog. She is great with other dogs and cats. She is housebroken and walks well on a leash. Cedar is a loving, cuddly, energetic 7mo puppy. He loves cuddles, brain games, stimulating toys, and anything that squeaks. He has an amazing fur sister, and does well with all ages. Cedar is particular stubborn in the potty training department, and we are having minor issues getting him to understand that he can’t just pee whenever he’d like. In every other area, he is the smartest pup. He knows a variety of commands, and uses his favourite, “crawl”, to win your heart by sneaking around on his belly. My schedule is too unreliable to be steady with potty training, and after extensive testing at the vet proving he’s just a stubborn pup, re-homing him is the best option for the both of us.

Clover was adopted as a young puppy but sadly returned when things didn’t work out with a small child in the home. True to his breed, Clover is energetic, athletic, and incredibly smart. He’ll thrive with structure, boundaries, and continued training. At the rescue, he’s shown a sweet and submissive side, and he gets along well with other dogs. He absolutely loves walks, playtime, and soaking up attention. We believe Clover is house trained, and with his intelligence and eagerness to learn, he’s sure to be a quick study in his new home. Because of his energy and shepherd nature, Clover would do best in a home with older children (if any) and a family ready to give him the guidance, activity, and love he needs to grow into his full potential.
