Story
Looking for a funny, sweet, and smart as a whip companion? Then Sugar is your girl. Sugar is a year old German Shepard/Shar-pei/Pit-bull mix, and she’s got the brains to back up the breed. She’s energetic, playful, curious, and always down for a cuddle. Sugar is a whiz at tricks, and knows sit, down, heel, roll-over, and spin already (if you have a treat to give)! She can be reactive, and does prefer to be your only friend, but she will absolutely make up for it with all the love she can give. Based on Sugar’s age and energy levels, she is required to be signed up for training classes. Now, stop on by and give Sugar some sugar!

Story
Duke is a neutered, create-trained, 5-year-old, 90-lbs. German Shepherd Dog. Duke is loving, enjoys meeting new people, and he gets along with small dogs well. Duke always thinks of a new person as a new friend. He's stayed at Crossroads Grooming and Boarding and the Dog Den in Urbana-Champaign. He has played well with other dogs during daycare and extended stays. Duke follows the commands of touch, sit, stay, roll over, and leave it. Duke needs a new home because I live in an apartment building and he is vocal and reactive to driving cars, leashed dogs, and squirrels. He is energetic and needs lots of human attention to avoid excessive barking and reactivity. He is an affectionate, extroverted companion, and I hope to find a new family who can support the lovely Duke. Duke has an adoption fee of $150. Please send at least 2 character references.

Meet Nova — the girl with the big presence! 🌟 (NOVA currently lives with her foster family in Texas, she will be transported through Project Freedom Ride when she is adopted.) At just 6 months old and 44 lbs., Nova may be the smallest of her litter of five, but don’t let that fool you—she naturally steps into a leadership role among her siblings. She’s expected to be a medium-sized dog once fully grown. Nova is a little more reserved at first, but once she warms up, her sweet, gentle nature shines. Her shiny black coat paired with her rich mahogany markings makes her absolutely stunning. Nova, her momma, and her siblings were left to fend for themselves on the streets in a rural Texas town until a kind couple took them in and gave them safety and care. Now Nova is ready for her next chapter—a loving forever family to call her own. Meet Scout 🐾 – A big laid-back pup ! (Scout is currently living with his foster family in Texas, he will be transported through PFR when he is adopted) Scout is a sweetheart with the calmest, most laid-back personality of his whole litter.
