Online Adoption Application › Dove is a sweet girl who's had a rough start in life. She was thrown away, in a poor shelter and she was outside in the freezing temps fending for hersel. She came in almost a bag of bones. Dove is so happy that she cries when you give her love and almost grins as well. She just wants you to love on her all the time. She is great with all dogs and cats. She loves to play or just relax with the dogs. She is working on her crate and house trainin. This is something that the new family will have to continue. we think she could do well with other animals as showing her the ropes.Dove is heartworm positive and has already started the process of treatment. Story
Hilda is a stunning German Shepherd mix who has been attending DogWorld Daycare to refine her manners and social skills. In the bustling environment of the daycare, she has proven herself to be a sociable and friendly companion to both dogs and humans alike.Hilda exudes the quintessential traits of a German Shepherd - loyalty, intelligence, and a touch of sass. She's a talkative girl who isn't afraid to vocalize her thoughts and feelings. While she may exhibit some typical shepherd anxiety, it's nothing that can't be managed with the right approach and understanding.Hilda thrives in an active environment with experienced owners who understand her breed-specific needs. A household without small children would be best suited for her, allowing her to fully enjoy her space without any undue stress. Hilda would thrive in a home where she can continue her socialization and training journey, perhaps with opportunities for outdoor adventures and activities that engage her sharp mind.Hilda is looking for owners who can provide her with structure, consistency, and plenty of mental and physical stimulation. Continued socialization will be key for her ongoing development, as well training to help her build confidence and manage any lingering anxieties. With the right guidance and love, Hilda is sure to blossom into an amazing companion.**Hilda is considered a Legacy Pet with an adoption fee of $195**

Story
Koda is a sweet, gentle dog who thrives off of affection from people. He loves belly rubs more than anything. He's pretty mellow for a younger dog and is pretty easy to handle. He hasn't been here long but has quickly become a staff favorite. He is great with other dogs, and would likely do well with cats. He will need to be foster-to-adopt until he is neutered.

Story
This is Whittaker, an 85lbs German Shepherd/Dutch Shepherd mix. He is on the anxious side, but a huge lover. He's wary of men and children, but if given respect he gets comfortable quickly. I adopted him when I had all the time in the world, and unfortunately a bunch of huge life changes and a drop in pay has forced me to find a new home for him as he has a lot of obedience training needs that I cannot match at this moment in time. He is partially potty trained, could use help with it. He is okay with a crate, but really doesn't enjoy them. He is just one big, lovey puppy. He is about a year and a half old, his birthday is August 11, 2022. Adoption fee is $60 to ensure adopters are serious about this commitment. He will come with a few collars and harnesses I bought for him.

Story
Vegeta is a full blooded German Shepherd, he is 3 years old, and he is such a great dog. He does not have temperament problems, he is mostly housebroken but has accidents if left in crate for too long. He definitely still has puppy energy and loves to play and wrestle. He is really good with bigger kids, he may be a little rambunctious for toddlers but he is very smart and does a good job with training. He was microchipped but I never renewed it, he is not up to date on shots, and he is not fixed. Rehoming fee negotiable.

Cooper is a Courtesy Listing and is not housed at the Animal Shelter. Please note that the City of Bloomington Animal Care & Control accepts no responsibility for this pet. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating directly with the pet's guardian. Cooper is an 8 year old shepherd & husky mix. He has been on a weight loss journey and from his surrender date to now he’s lost 17 lbs!! 😲 Cooper has the best personality. He’s a silly boy, when you get him hype he’ll sing you a song. But don’t worry his husky doesn’t come out too much. He’s more than happy to be silent at home waiting for his owner to come back.😁 He’s up to date on all of his vaccines and neutered. He does great with cats, dogs, and kids! Sometimes he wants to be right next to you chilling and watching tv and other times he wants to be left alone to snooze. He’ll tell you with a little huff and by walking away to find a new spot. Cooper used to be an escape artist. He’s pretty much reformed now but his new home will need a fence atleast 6ft or to be kept on leash. Cooper is located in Bloomington IN . He does not like cats. He is super gentle with our little children (2yrs, 1yr, and 6 month old). He does like his own space when eating, so we just separate the dogs when they eat. He is house trained. He is also super tall and a playful puppy. If you would like to inquire into adopting this pet, PLEASE CALL or TEXT 502-640-1123***Please ignore the Apply to Adopt button for this pet & contact the owner directly***

Story
Frankie was found as a stray, and made her way to our rescue. She is a very active, high energy girl looking for a home where she can spend a lot of time playing (she lives for her ball!) and going for hikes. She is bonded to another dog at our rescue (Goose), and they would love to find a home together. But she can be adopted separately to the right home.
