Story
We adopted Riley as a puppy from a Petsmart adoption event. She has never bit anyone. Is extremely gentle. Loves kids. Loves cats. Listens to snaps, whistles, and is incredibly sweet. Very protective of her family. When our daughter and son were born they both had very severe eczema and Riley developed allergies to foods. Because of my kids being immune compromised and Riley getting infections, we have had to hospitalize my kids multiple times..the hospital bill have mounted and we cannot give Riley the special food and attention she needs any longer. She is 5 yrs old. Takes Apoquel, special baths, and needs hypoallergenic food. The absolute best dog in the world. Does not bark, bite, pee or poop in the house; just wants love and to play. Has never hurt our babies on purpose. We desperately want to find a good home for her. We love our Riley and have no doubt anyone else would too.

Story
📣📣UPDATE ON MAJOR the GERMAN SHEPHERD ❣️❣️‼️‼️ Nearly 4 weeks ago Major almost lost his life! People cared and shared far and wide and he is alive and well! A young dog passed around from family to family 3 times and his final destiny was at the overcrowded city shelter in Chicago. Major walked through the doors with his owner ( police officer)in a muzzle and requested euthanasia. The shelter doing their job scanned the dog and he was registered to the ranch. We never had the dog in our possession, we helped get him to his first home… “let us chip him in case he ever gets lost.” Chicago Animal Care Services, contacted us… “we have one of your dogs who was brought in to be euthanized.” Not really our dog but how can we leave him there? No sleep, worried sick, we can’t let this happen. Major received his lifeline and has a safe place…called the shelter told them we are coming!! Hold That Needle! That microchip saved his life!! Major was brought out on the catch pole… seemed scared but not aggressive. “chicken nuggets await you Major in the back of the jeep”. We drove back to Indy and I delivered him at midnight to his safe place! Thank you Steve at JollyDogs Training center who said “YES” to Major. I gave him a blanket for his kennel which I learned he cherished and gave him a sense of security. Steve started his training and he began to trust and a bond was established. Our plan was to work together to find placement with a goal of finding his forever home. I wanted him closer to our rescue so I too can work with him. I did some research and found that Major was bred in right here in Mooresville. A good breeder takes back their dogs. I now his birthday and his parents now and a good place to start his new journey. Together we are now working with Von Dietrich German Shepherd Training and they graciously are going to help keep Major safe …. He will be vetted and neutered and begin his search for a new leash on life! Major is 4 years old, good bloodline, and a sweet disposition found hiding behind his fear. Today is a new day Major! You got this buddy! Thank you Steve @JollyDogs Training and Chris and Shannon @Von Dietrich Training .. Major is going to Shine!!

Story
Fitzcarraldo is an incredibly warm, affectionate goofball who LOVES fetch, learns quickly (though I'm not really training him bc I'm too busy), and would be very grateful to have someone who can give him companionship. He's a little much for my other dogs and can get jealous/predatory, so I don't know that I'd recommend him in a multidog household. He goes to the bathroom quickly when taken out and does not go in the house. I love him and wish I could keep him myself, but I already have four dogs. I offered to foster him for a woman who was under threat of being evicted. He has always lived in apartments but loves going out on Sniffspot adventures for long games of fetch, for which he seems to have infinite energy. He will pester you for attention if he's not getting enough, but with a regular routine and really not that much attention he relaxes well and is a chill companion. Loves hugs and cuddles and pets. I don't think he's been around kids so I would recommend teens or older.
