I’ve had Biscuit since late 2020, and he was 1.5 years old then. He’s been a fantastic dog. I’ve recently had several children and moved from a house with land to an apartment. He loves his exercise but will absolutely cuddle you all day if given the chance. He would do very well in a home where it’s just him and he’s on a consistent schedule.Free to a good home, I’ll provide food, treats and other needed items.

Story
Hello!! My name is Drako a.k.a little man. I am a loving, goofy boy who is more of a woman’s dog than a man’s dog. I will follow mommy around. I am skittish of new people. I have NEVER bitten anyone. I have NEVER shown any aggression towards other dogs or people. I just get scared sometimes you know? I will be 3 years old on July 29th. I need a BIG, very tall fenced in yard. I like to play with other dogs. I just don’t know my size sometimes. I LOVE being outside and with my people. I am all up to date on my vaccines. I also LOVE getting my hair cut. I have a specific person I let groom me. My owners have all of the information. I’ve just outgrown my backyard.

Frieda: Proof That Age Is Just a Number (and Apparently a Suggestion) Meet Frieda, the senior citizen who somehow missed the memo about slowing down. While other dogs her age are clipping coupons and settling in for afternoon naps, Frieda is busy making plans, chasing adventures, and reminding everyone that "old lady" is simply a state of mind. This energetic gal still has plenty of pep in her step and is always ready to see what fun the day has in store. Because she's a social butterfly with opinions, Frieda would like to meet all the people in the home before packing her bags and moving in. If you're looking for a dog who combines the wisdom of a senior with the enthusiasm of a puppy who just discovered coffee, Frieda is ready to prove that the golden years can be pretty golden—and a little chaotic. ❤️🐾 Dogs: NO THANK YOU! Cats: Unknown Kids: Must meet everyone in the home!!!

Story
This is Noah. At just 11 months old, Noah is proof that special needs dogs are every bit as full of life, love, and adventure as any other pup. This handsome white German Shepherd mix is deaf and has some vision impairments, but he doesn't let that slow him down one bit! Noah's favorite things in the world are toys, cozy naps, and spending time with his friends - human AND canine. Whether he's carrying around his favorite toy, playing with another dog, or stretched out for an afternoon snooze, he's happiest when surrounded by love. Because of his disabilities, Noah experiences the world a little differently and will need a patient family committed to helping him continue to learn. He is still working on potty training and will thrive with a consistent routine and positive reinforcement. Noah is a sweet, affectionate boy who loves making new friends and has never met a stranger. His resilience, happy spirit, and loving personality make him truly special. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will fill your home with joy, toys, and plenty of cuddles, Noah might be the perfect match for you. Special Needs - extra special heart. Noah is neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccines and flea/tick/heartworm preventative.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Adoption Fee: FEE WAIVED Available July 9thLooking for a sweet, steady companion to share life’s simple joys? Meet Adele, a beautiful 9-year-old German Shepherd with a heart full of love and a gentle spirit ready for her forever home. Adele is fully vetted, potty trained, and best of all—her adoption fee has been completely covered, thanks to a generous sponsor. All she needs now is a family to give her the love she truly deserves. This lovely girl enjoys being around people and wants nothing more than to please her humans. Like many dogs in a new environment, Adele may need a little guidance at first (she can get excited and jump), but she responds wonderfully to gentle redirection and thrives with consistency. Adele is: Kid friendly (best with older children due to her size) Best suited with calm, non-hyper dogs Affectionate and people-oriented Eager to learn  She hasn’t been tested with cats yet -- if the opportunity presents, we will give an introduction. Adele will benefit from continued consistency with her walking manners, but we truly believe she is so worth it. In fact, she’s heading out on a camping trip with her foster family soon—and we think she’s going to absolutely love the adventure! If you’re ready for a loyal, loving companion to share your days, Adele is waiting to meet you. New foster dogs need time to feel safe. They may be skittish or fearful, so always stay with them outside—even in fenced yards. Ensure collars and leashes fit securely to prevent escapes. Your gentle presence and protection help them feel loved and secure. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 13 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heartworm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record.
