Story
Cowboy and his sister Gomorrah were adopted together in the summer of 2022. Cowboy is so goofy, smart, gentle, and playful. I've recently had 2 babies back to back and Cowboy and his sister Gomorrah have been put on the backburner. It breaks my heart to rehome them, but they deserve a better owner who can give them the time, attention, love and affection that they need. Cowboy is kid friendly and cat friendly. He gets along with other dogs when he goes to the dog park. Cowboy is very food motivated, so he is a quick learner.

Story
We'd love for you to meet Timmy. He is about six months old, currently weighs about 15 pounds, is neutered and he believes that cuddling is the way to everyone's hearts. He loves affection and thrives on praise. Timmy has mastered the art of sitting already! If he knows you have a treat, then you have his undivided attention! We would love it so much for whoever adopts Timmy to have experience with shepherds and/or puppies who need to build their confidence. Timmy is at a great age to socialize and teach polite behaviors. It's so helpful that he is such an eager student. As far as other dog friends go, if you have a gentle but confident resident dog, we think Timmy would love to learn from them; and could really succeed! A dog who is too in-his-face and overly playful may scare him a bit too much. An ideal day for Timmy would be snuggling, walkies, snufflemat sniffs and other enrichment and time with his family. He loves to be where people are. His eye contact is on point and we have loved getting to know him. He was a bit on the skinny side when he arrived. He still needs to gain just a few pounds to get him to a healthy weight and we would love to see him in a home to be able to do so! Timmy is waiting to meet you at MHS.

Story
New friends! I'm so excited! Hiii! I'm Zoey! I'd like to take a quick second to brag about my house manners and polite behavior...I am perfect in my crate! I do wonderful at being house-trained. I know how to sit, come, stay and lay down. I'll do anything for a treat and, let me tell you, I sure am dialed in when I sniff something tasty! Car rides are awesome. Hanging with other friendly dog friends is a whole heap of fun, too! I am thrilled every time you ask me if I want to go for a walk. Chewing on bones and hard toys is also a favorite past-time of mine. Let's go back to chatting about walkies...daily walkies and healthy diet will be very important for whoever adopts me to ensure. I weigh 106 pounds and am probably around 25-30 pounds overweight. It would be so much better for me to be at a proper weight while still receiving all the nutrients I need. Can you help me get there? I like when people around me are calm. I'd prefer any kiddos in the home to be about 10ish and up. I haven't seen kitty friends but I will soon and I can let you know. Being around people makes me so happy. I am not a huge cuddler but I do like to have company. My personality is happy and joyful. Can we become a family? I am about six years old and I'm spayed. Love, Zoey.

Story
Hi new friends! I'm Turner. I am about six months old, am neutered and I weigh around 19 pounds. I am so hoping that someone will adopt me who shares my affinity for walkies, adventures and exploring. You see, as an eager and on-the-go energetic pup, what better person to match me with other than someone who also loves to be active?! And it would be the coolest ever to have someone adopt me who has had shepherd experience. I'm a young dude and I'd so appreciate having a person who can teach me polite behaviors so I can grow into a super awesomely behaved adult dog! I love treats! I am always on the go; sniffing here and sniffing there. I'm sure I could win every time I went up against a snufflemat or an enrichment object! Not only are they a great way for me to eat slowly, but they work my mind and I always feel fulfilled afterwards! I've been pretty neutral towards other dogs. If you have a solid resident pooch who can show me their ways, I'd love to learn from them. I cannot believe it is my turn to find my family. I hope it is you. Love, Turner.
