Story
We have had Jozie for about 3 years, and she is 4 years old. She is a mix of a number of different breeds, we know that she has German shepherd, Great Pyrenees, boxer, and husky. She has been an outdoor farm dog for that whole time. She is a great outdoor dog and listens well. She is smart and picks up on things easily. She is very personable and endearing. We have really loved having her as a farm dog. However, she is aggressive towards other dogs. She has attacked a neighbors dog (no injuries because people were there to break it up). For this reason we are looking to rehome her. She needs a place that is more rural than we are and is perhaps fenced in so that she wouldn’t come into contact with other dogs. She has never shown any aggression towards people.

Story
Mocha is a good girl, and loves being rewarded. Very good at warning you about someone being at the house/around the yard. She does JUMP a lot. I have young kids and it's become too much, and none of the training I have done has helped. She needs to be in a home with NO CATS. She will be a very very good dog for someone who has the time and experience with her breed.

Story
Meet TankTank is an almost 7-year-old mixed-breed dog weighing about 62 pounds. He would do best in a home with high-school–aged kids and up. Tank is timid at first and may take a little time to warm up, but once he does, he absolutely loves being pet and cuddled.Tank is very food-motivated and happiest when treats are involved. He has shown no issues with resource guarding, even when food is taken away. He passed dog testing, gets along well with other dogs, and previously lived with a cat without issues. He is currently working on his potty training and is eager to learn. Tank is treat-motivated, responsive, and would do well with continued positive reinforcement training.Adoption fee: $85

Story
Dogs were born in the same litter in mid 2018. Both females with Copper being the largest and Olive being the runt of the litter. They’ve been with us since 6 weeks old and are great dogs. They’ve been through basic and intermediate training and need a home where their owners have more time for them and they can play outside more. Great with cats, kids, and other dogs. Only requirement is we want them to stay together for their wellbeing. Kennels, toys, and food included to help their transition to a great home that can spend as much time with them as we’d like to. Perfect home would be somewhere with a nice sized yard for them to play in and a living room with space for them to cozy up with their new family.

Story
Duke is a fun loving, playful medium sized dog who was brought to us because his owner was no longer able to care for him. He's bigger than a lap dog but is small enough that he is very easy to handle on a leash. He loves all people and is very interested in the other dogs at the kennel. He came from a home with another dog, so is likely to do well in a house with other pets. He is active and will need a home where he gets outdoor playtime and a chance to run or go for walks. He loves to play with frisbees and ropes and balls, but also really enjoys getting one on one attention from the volunteers. His foster mom has told us some more about Duke. Duke adores kids, because they like to play with him. He is funny, respectful, and loves to cuddle on the couch. He is houstrained and kennel trained and gets along well with the other 2 dogs in the house. He enjoys being scratched and cuddled. He knows a lot of basic commands and will usually wait to get on furniture until he is invited. He is friendly with other people and sees everyone as a friend. Duke would enjoy a playful brother or sister, as he likes to play. He is improving with on leash walking, but is easily controlled and listens well. He is not bothered by other dogs, bicycles, skateboards, or cars during walks. He will hop on his front legs when he wants to eat and looks forward to dinnertime. He enjoys watching his humans cook so be prepared to have a kitchen buddy during meal preparation. He is very sweet, loving, and cuddly. He's just an all around loyal and loving guy! He would make a great addition to any household with other pets would probably be best so he can have a playmate. But, he is also independent and will play with toys on his own.  ##1642004##

Story
Meet Juneberry — lovingly called Junebee — a playful, intelligent German Shepherd mix who is finishing professional training and ready to find her forever home. Junebee has a big personality and a joyful, goofy spirit. She loves to run, play, learn new things, and be part of whatever her people are doing. She’s the kind of dog who will happily try to climb into your lap for affection — even though she doesn’t quite realize she’s a 67-pound shepherd mix. Junebee is currently enrolled in a structured professional training program where she has been working on obedience, leash skills, impulse control, and confidence. She has made wonderful progress and is showing just how smart and capable she is. She already knows many commands including: • Sit• Down• Stand• Heel• Place• Crate• Wait• Leave It• Come / Recall She has also started learning fun tricks like: • Spin• Reverse• Sit Pretty• Shake / High Five Her trainer describes her as very intelligent, eager to work, and full of potential. Junebee truly enjoys learning and thrives when she has structure, consistency, and a clear leader. With continued guidance, she will be an incredible companion for an active home. Her adopter will receive guidance on continuing the training she has already learned. Junebee loves to play with other dogs and would do great with a canine friend who enjoys her playful energy. Because she can get excited and sometimes forget how big she is, she would do best with older children. She does not do well with cats, as she enjoys chasing them. Junebee is housebroken, affectionate, and loves spending time outdoors. A secure fenced yard is recommended so she has space to run and burn off some of her shepherd energy. She is currently finishing her training and will be ready to go home on March 20, 2026, but applications are being accepted now. The right home for Junebee will be one that enjoys an active, intelligent dog who loves to learn, play, and be part of the family. Quick Facts About Junebee • 3 years old• German Shepherd mix• About 67 pounds• Good with dogs• Best with older children• Not good with cats• Housebroken• Currently completing professional training Her adoption fee is sponsored, and she will go home spayed, microchipped, fully vetted for one year, and on monthly preventatives. Please note: • All pets in the home must be spayed/neutered• Pets must be current on core vaccines and preventatives• We do not accept electric or underground fencing Adopters must live within 1 hour of Elkhart, Indiana. If you think Junebee might be the perfect addition to your family, please submit an adoption application. ##2631925##

Story
This is Willow. She needs a big yard or fenced in yard that she can be out whenever she pleases. She loves to be outside no matter the weather. She has to be out. She is a Belgium Malinois Husky Mix. She is going to be 4. She is UTD on vaccines, she is spayed, potty trained and is chipped and pretty decent about manners. She is full of personality, dramatic, rambunctious and a great cuddler. She gets along well with Cats, Dogs and all feral children. She loves dog parks camping, car rides, exploring, beaches... you name it. I would suggest a home with older children as she is hyperactive and jumpy especially when she is excited. (Her Breed) She doesn't do the best on the leash as she's always been kind of a free roamer but knows to stay close and in sight. She listens to silent commands and will ring the bell to let you know she wants out- She is kennel trained Vet Ref Req.
