Story
Bernard is a 2.5 yr old 55-lb Shepherd mix who arrived recently from Kabul Small Animal Rescue in Afghanistan. He is very sweet, and is being fostered in a home with other dogs and cats. He's getting along with the dogs and the dog savvy cats.. He is house and crate, trained, and is doing well in a home setting. He is a great listener and responds well to the word, no, leave it, off, and praises with such a good boy! Because he truly is. He definitely enjoys being outside exploring. There was a challenge with language when he first arrived. But now is figuring it out and doing well with the English language. He loves attention. He is treat motivated and very gentle when given a treat. I have a large fence yard and he really enjoys running around and playing with his toys. We are currently working on walking on a leash. Bernard will make a wonderful companion for someone who can understand and continue to work with him and let him know he is safe and loved. Adoption fee is $450 If you do not hear from us within 7 days please email passion4petsrescue@gmail.com

Story
My name is Bella Mia and as you can see, I am a beautiful golden girl that smiles and welcomes everyone I meet with an open heart of friendship.  I am a German Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix that is obviously going to be large and just bigger to love.  They say I was born around February 11, 2023 and for sure I am still very much a puppy even though I weigh 76 pounds.  They whisper behind my back and say that “she is a very smart girl” and that makes me want to be even smarter.  I try to keep my sweet personality showing out there 24/7 even though I am competing for attention from my other large and in charge siblings.  I am learning things but my foster family is busy and they are just maintaining good care for me and my large siblings.  I have energy to burn and I need a fenced yard to run in and someone that will focus on teaching me.  I need a loving and training oriented family who loves to bring a dog from A to Z status.  I survived a very tough start in life and am one of 12 siblings.  Only six of us survived.  I like fun, lots of activity and the hustle and bustle of family.  I need a fenced yard that is 6 ft. tall and it would be best to have me with children who are over 8 years of age because of my large exuberant size.  I am a well-rounded girl that will make your home much more Fun and loving.  If you are interested in making me a part of your life, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.June 22, 2024, 1:21 pm

Story
Active Axel is a handsome golden male German Shepherd/ Great Pyrenees mix who was born on February 11th, 2023 and is still a puppy in every way. He is one of six siblings that survived from a litter of 12. Our guy Axel weighs approximately 90 lbs, and is very GSD smart loving to be next to his humans.  This huge puppy is full of energy and he will fit perfectly in a home where there is a lot of activity, a fenced yard and people who love the BIG DOGS! He really likes walking, hiking, and just a ton of fun with activity. He also loves water and treats the water trough as his own personal spa. We recommend a home with a fence that is a minimum of 5 feet tall.   We do not suggest he go to a home with small children, or farm animals simply because he has no experience with them.  He hangs with his siblings and does well playing with them and also just enjoying their company.  He does need to eat separately for dinner as he protects his food from the other dogs due to early starvation. Handsome Axel is fully vetted, neutered and microchipped and he is kennel and crate trained for quiet time.  This boy needs some time and attention from a caring and dog savvy owner.  He would love to cuddle with you and be your adored companion.  He has such potential…..such love and such a need to grow and evolve into a fine companion in life.  Please email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you are interested in this big baby!  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJune 22, 2024, 1:21 pm

Story
This girl is called Gemma and she is a 5 year old German Shepherd girl that is looking for a Shepherd savvy owner.  This girl is 65 pounds and has come through much in her life and surfaced as a great survivor and ready to embrace a good life.  Her foster mom and dad taught her how to trust, how to love and how to be a wonderful and endearing Shepherd that just wants love.   Gemma needs a fenced yard, a patient and dog savvy Shepherd person that understands her brain psyche and that she is a jewel ready to be continually polished to a shining bright star.  Gemma will be a great dog to love and go on walks and adventures.  She is good with other dogs and also has been around young children. Story
This beautiful Shepherd girl is called Sasha and she was found as a stray in Tennessee by a good Samaritan who took her in.  She looks like a purebred German Shepherd dog but due to her smaller stature, we think that she also has Belgian Shepherd, which is a beautiful combination.  She weighs 48 pounds, is spayed and up-to-date on all vaccines, on heartworm prevention and overall a very healthy girl according to the veterinarian.  He feels that Sasha is about a year and a half old.  She is such a pretty girl in looks and demeanor.  She loves car rides and looking out the window as the world zooms by.  Although she gets along well with other dogs, she would do best as an only dog in a home that has a fenced in yard.  Sasha will give you kisses all day long if you will let her.  She is so affectionate, intelligent and wants to please.  If you are interested please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.June 22, 2024, 1:21 pm
