Story
Meet Thor Thor is a gentle, soulful German Shepherd with a heart as big as his paws—and a story that will stay with you. This incredibly sweet boy was found all alone, slightly underweight, wearing a collar with his name, but no number to tell anyone where he belonged or how he ended up fending for himself. No way to trace his past… just a quiet, kind soul waiting for someone to notice him.   Despite whatever he’s been through, Thor has nothing but love to give.   He appears to be in his golden years, with a soft dusting of gray on his muzzle that only adds to his quiet, dignified beauty. Thor doesn’t ask for much—just to be near you. He will gently follow you from room to room, content just to lay nearby, finding comfort in your presence. After being alone, it’s clear that what he wants most in this world is companionship.   Thor is house-trained, doesn’t jump, and has a calm, easygoing nature that makes him such a peaceful presence in the home. He gets along well with other dogs, and his current foster home has a cat—he has peacefully coexisted, showing just how gentle and respectful he truly is.   On leash, Thor can pull a bit and will need some gentle guidance—but truly, he just wants to stay close and go wherever you go.   There is something incredibly special about this boy. Maybe it’s his resilience, maybe it’s his quiet devotion—but once you meet him, you’ll understand. Thor isn’t just looking for a home… he’s looking for someone to love, someone to belong to, and someone who will never let him feel alone again. PLEASE CONTACT Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com    If you have room in your heart and your home for a loyal, gentle companion, Thor is waiting for you.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comApril 5, 2026, 9:29 pm

Story
Alexis is a stunning, purebred German Shepherd with a loyal heart and so much love left to give. She has been cherished since she was a young puppy by a devoted dad who is now facing one of the hardest decisions of his life. Due to serious health challenges and a move closer to medical care, he can no longer keep his beloved girls—and he is absolutely heartbroken. At Critter Cavalry Rescue, we made him a promise: Alexis will find a safe, loving home where she can thrive and be treasured just as she deserves. Alexis is a beautiful girl who could benefit from losing about 20 pounds, and she’s ready for a fresh start filled with healthy routines and fun activity. She’s smart, affectionate, and enjoys both playtime and relaxing at home with her people. She has lived with children and other dogs and does wonderfully—but she will need a cat-free home. She especially loves playing with her Blue Heeler sister, Sassy, and has been a constant, loyal companion. Now it’s her turn to find a family who will give her the same unconditional love she has always given. Alexis is ready for her next chapter—a life filled with walks, companionship, and a family who will keep the promise we made to her dad: that she will always be safe, loved, and secure.   If you feel that pull in your heart, please reach out.   Email: ccrtennessee@gmail.com   Be sure to include your city and state when inquiring.

Story
IDGSR Welcomes NALLAH into the safety of the rescue!! THIS DOG IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE & AVAILABLE FOR TRANSPORT ************** Meet Nallah, located in Greeneville TN and is available for transport. 11 months old. Survivor. Absolute boss babe energy. This girl went from life on a chain… to running her world like the boss babe she was always meant to be. And trust me — she knows it. Nallah is bold, brilliant, and FULL of personality. She’s got that go-go-go energy and thrives when she has a job to do. Long hikes? Yes. Runs? Even better. Training sessions? She eats them up. This girl is smart and driven — the kind of dog who wants to work and bond with her person. Ideal home vibes: – Can be your one-and-only spotlight girl OR paired with a large, confident male – No female dogs (she prefers to be the leading lady) – Active human who’s ready to keep her mind & body busy She’s already showing major potential, but she’ll need continued obedience training and a little “princess refinement” to polish all that raw greatness into something truly elite. Bottom line? Nallah isn’t for just anyone — she’s for someone who wants a loyal, high-energy, ride-or-die partner and is ready to match her ambition. If you’re looking for a dog that’s got main character energy… you just found her Extra video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KFqylIif0sA **SERIOUS APPLICANTS ONLY!
