Story
Tommy’s journey hasn’t been easy, but his heart is pure gold. Originally from California, this 2-year-old boy was once on the euthanasia list before a kind rescuer stepped in to save him. Tommy is already neutered, crate-trained (he won’t potty in his crate and does best if let outside right away). He was born with a condition called Optic Nerve Hypoplasia, which means he has limited vision. Sometimes when he’s nervous, he may circle or seem a little panicked, but a calm, guiding hand quickly reassures him. He also takes glucosamine for occasional joint stiffness. Tommy enjoys being outdoors and loves a good game of fetch, but when storms roll in, he prefers to be safe inside with his people. He thrives on attention and would do best in an active home without lots of obstacles or commotion. Tommy cannot live with cats or small dogs but would do wonderfully with a calm, confident female dog companion. Because of his special needs, prior breed experience and knowledge of caring for a blind dog are required. Tommy has come so far already and is ready to find a loving, patient forever home where he can continue to grow, thrive, and share his boundless loyalty.

Story
Scout is a very lovable German shepherd pup. He enjoys being outside, belly rubs, and lots of treats. He requires a lot of attention as he has separation anxiety. He would love someone to be home with him for the majority of the day to give him endless belly rubs. He will need to be fed in his kennel as he has slight food aggression. He would also do best in a home with older kids who don’t drop food on the ground, as he will immediately run over to get it as he is a “vacuum.” He loves being called “Scout pout” and loves when you ask him “would you like a Bewwy Wub” Scout is working on kennel training and will give you those big puppy dog eyes and try to hide on you when you need to put him to bed. He is also working on being friendly with other dogs. Most importantly scout has a big heart. It is easy to become his best friend. If you are looking for a lovable forever friend please get to know Scout. This pet is microchipped, spayed/neutered & up to date on vaccinations. The adoption fee is $500. Story
Koda was adopted in Wasilla, Alaska by a military family with children (ages ranging from 0-1 year old). Koda along with his family relocated to Minnesota this year and unfortunately his family is too busy with their schedule for him. He needs a family that can meet his needs of playing outside with a fenced in yard, going on long walks, and giving him all the attention he desires. Koda loves children, however at times gets too excited doesn’t realize how big he is at times and may push a child over. He’s been gradually getting better at handling his excitement. It is recommended he have a new owner that is willing to take the time to work on his manners.

Story
Hi, I’m Bing Crosby—a 70 lb, 6-year-old German Shepherd/Lab mix! I may be six, but I’ve got the energy of about ten puppies. Whether I’m flopping over for belly rubs or chasing my favorite orange Chuck-it ball, I always try to brighten up the room.I’m house-trained, crate-trained, and I know how to sit, stay, wait, and leave it. I thrive on routine, but I also love the occasional snack…cheese, bacon, and peanut butter are my top picks. If you like cooking at home, just a heads-up: I’ll give you my best puppy-dog eyes until you cave and toss me a little piece of grilled chicken. I’m looking for a home where I can be part of the action, whether that’s morning walks, fetch, or…more fetch! And when the day winds down, I’m happy to curl up next to you on the bed or couch and snooze.I tend to get nervous around young kids, so I’d do best in a home without them. But I absolutely love playing with adults and other dogs of any size! I’m hoping to find an awesome family who’ll let me be their loyal, goofy companion.--------------------------------------------"I'll be home for Christmas!" For applications received now through 12/31/2025, Warrior Dog Rescue is reducing the adoption fee of all pups. This is reflected in the adoption fee shown below. All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spay/neuter before adoption unless age is a factor with a puppy younger than 6-12 months at the time of adoption. If that is the case, the spay/neuter will be covered in the adoption fee and the owner will be responsible to have the procedure completed at a Warrior Dog Rescue Veterinarian at the appropriate time. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $250To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/

*Stella Jane’s adoption fee has been sponsored thanks to a generous donor*Meet Stella Jane – Your Perfect Cuddle Companion!Who has four paws, the softest fur, and the sweetest soul? It’s me, Stella Jane! 🐾💛My absolute favorite things in the world are cuddling on the couch with my foster mom and dad, playing with my foster dog siblings, and gathering all my favorite toys and bones in my special spot. If your idea of a perfect day includes binge-watching Netflix or cheering on your favorite team, then I’m the girl for you!Since arriving in Minnesota, I’ve been discovering just how wonderful life can be. My foster family has shown me love, comfort, and patience, and I know my perfect forever home is out there waiting. I’d love a home with another dog who can be my buddy and help me continue to build my confidence. I do best in a quieter home with teenagers or adults, as I’m not the biggest fan of the energy that comes with younger kids.If you’re looking for a sweet, loving companion to share cozy moments with, I’d love to meet you! 💕--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.
