Hi! Momma Mimosa here! I recently arrived in Minnesota when my Brunch Litter puppies were just a few days old. I was found in a woodpile with my day old puppies and two kind souls drove down to pick us up. I love to be around people and have been such a sweet girl to everyone I have met! I love my babies and am such a good momma but I am looking for a place to call my own now that they are grown. Toys are new for me but I love them, especially ones that squeak! Right now I have a collection of them on my bed!I just want to be your cuddle buddy and spend time by your side! I am learning the art of walking on leash and am doing my best to master it but it is going to take some time! What do you say, can we meet? I'm sure we will become fast friends!***FOSTER TO ADOPT***Mimosa is Heartworm positive and not yet spayed. She will soon start her Heartworm treatment. Once her treatment is complete, and her spay is done, the adoption can be finalized. Once her adoption is finalized, it is the responsibility of the adoptive family to get a Heartworm test every 2 months to follow up on her treatment progress until she has a negative result which can take 2-9 months. During these months, you will need to make sure her heart rate is not elevated due to high-energy play or exercise. Mimosa will also need continued use of monthly Heartworm prevention going forward. Hi Y'all, I'm Timmi! I just moved up here from the south. I love so many things in Minnesota. Running in the yard is one of my favorite things, especially when there is a ball to chase. Scent games are super fun too, I have a great nose! My foster humans think I would love hiking. They say I walk great on a leash and listen well. I have lots of puppy energy, but I also love sleeping at night and long naps during the day. I am getting used to my crate and bringing my toys in there, but I prefer snuggles and hanging out on the couch or bed. Everyone thinks I am the greatest dog in the world when I potty outside. There are two cats in this house that I would just love to play with. I keep trying, but they just keep running away. Scout is a very lovable German shepherd pup. He enjoys being outside, belly rubs, and lots of treats. He requires a lot of attention as he has separation anxiety. He would love someone to be home with him for the majority of the day to give him endless belly rubs. He will need to be fed in his kennel as he has slight food aggression. He would also do best in a home with older kids who don’t drop food on the ground, as he will immediately run over to get it as he is a “vacuum.” He loves being called “Scout pout” and loves when you ask him “would you like a Bewwy Wub” Scout is working on kennel training and will give you those big puppy dog eyes and try to hide on you when you need to put him to bed. From her foster: Chica is a sweet little girl who loves to curl up in your arms to snuggle on the couch. She is very intelligent and is quick to pick up new commands. She will beg for your attention when she really wants it. We have one resident dog and two resident cats, she is fine with both. She doesn't bother the cats too much and sometimes will be curious about them, but for the most part, she doesn't acknowledge them. She is currently being kenneled during the day while we are at work and during the night sleeps in her own queen bed with a baby gate at the door. We do not know how she is with small children as we do not have any in our home. Chica has separation anxiety issues and is currently on medication to assist with her anxiety. While we have no problems getting her into the kennel (for the most part she puts herself in the kennel), once we start to leave the house is when she starts to panic by wailing, howling, and barking. She did escape her previous kennel a couple of times and we now have her in a much more durable kennel. Chica has not escaped the new kennel. She is also experiencing separation anxiety when we are out in the yard and she is inside.
