Story
Echo is a stunning 4-year-old German Shepherd with a heart full of resilience and a spirit longing for a place to call home. His early years weren’t easy, but despite the challenges he’s faced, Echo is ready to turn the page and embrace a new beginning with a patient and experienced family. True to his breed, Echo is intelligent, loyal, and eager to bond with his people. He thrives in an environment where structure and guidance are provided, and he would do best with adopters who understand the unique needs of German Shepherds. With the right leadership, Echo will blossom into the devoted and confident companion he’s meant to be. Echo does have some challenges that will require ongoing training and management. He is reactive to other dogs while on leash and will need a dedicated owner to help him work through this behavior. Due to his strong prey drive—he has killed wildlife in the past—Echo would be best as the only animal in the home. A quiet, predictable household with adults or older children who respect his boundaries would be ideal. If you have experience with the breed and are ready to provide the structure, patience, and training he needs, Echo will reward you with unwavering companionship and a lifetime of love.

Story
Meet Jackson – or Jax, as his friends call him! This handsome 8-year-old German Shepherd is ready to settle into his golden years with a loving, shepherd-savvy family who can give him the retirement he deserves. Jax is a sweet and loyal guy who can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once he knows you're a friend, he's all in. He especially loves a relaxed game of fetch – it's his favorite way to bond and unwind! He's had some off-leash training in the past and could get back into the groove with a bit of a refresher. On leash, Jax does need a bit of extra help when passing other dogs – he prefers to be the only dog in the home and would love to be your one and only. He’ll thrive in a calm, structured environment where he can feel safe and understood. Jax has lived with cats before and did well, though he might try to turn them into a game of chase now and then. A confident, dog-savvy cat who knows the drill could be a good match. If you're an experienced shepherd home looking for a gentle soul to share long walks, quiet evenings, and a loyal friendship, Jax just might be your guy. He’s ready to be the king of your castle – are you ready to be his forever family?

Story
Mystery and Black dog are a bonded pair. Mystery prefers the company of other dogs. She’s not affectionate but LOVES playing fetch and going on walks! Black dog is the definition of lazy. His idea of exercise is moving from the bed to his food bowl. We'd prefer them to be the only dogs in the home just because they share such a strong bond!

Story
Our poor girl Salem is still waiting for a home after 8 long years. Though she can be shy at first, she longs to be someone’s loyal guardian, hiking partner, and best friend. Despite her severe hip dysplasia, she’s very active and LOVES to run. She’s so playful and full of life. Her inner puppy comes out when she gets to play with toys! Salem also loves cooler weather, though she can deal with summer heat by playing in the water. She’s great with other dogs, and loves to play with them! She’s amazing on and off leash. Salem is our special girl and we’d love to see her in a home where she can live comfortably and happily for her forever.

Mikey is a 6-year-old, neutered Shepherd mix with a big heart and an even bigger personality. He LOVES people but is not suitable for a home with cats, dogs or small children. Mikey is adventurous and well-behaved: Loves car rides, tolerates baths like a pro, and knows some basic commands. While Mikey already has a solid foundation, he’d benefit from continued training to polish his manners and unleash his full potential. If you’re looking for a loyal and spirited companion, Mikey could be the perfect addition to your family.
