Story
IDGSR Welcomes PADDY into the safety of the rescue!! THIS DOG IS FOSTERED IN NORTH CAROLINA & AVAILABLE FOR TRANSPORT ************** Hiya Friends! My name is Paddy and I'm a super handsome 6yr old male German Shepherd. I am located in North Carolina and available for transport. Quick Facts Age: 6yrs old Kids: adult home preferred Dogs: fine with a large female or only dog Cats: NO cats Training: could use an obedience refresher 1. My owner recently passed away so I'm looking for a new forever home. My nice neighbors are taking great care of me until my forever people come along. 2. I am the perfect gentleman in the house. I don't get on the furniture, I don't have any accidents, I don't mess up anything - I'm basically a dream! 3. I already know multiple commands! I know sit, down, come, leash walking, leave it, and a few others. It would be good to do an obedience refresher to sharpen my skills & it will help us bond! 4. I'm a little overweight and could stand to lose a few pounds. If you have health goals in 2026, let's reach them together! We can take nice walks in the neighborhood and I'll keep you safe from squirrels and birds. 5. I haven't met a stranger. I'm friendly, loving, and have moderate energy. My previous owner use to have dinner parties and I greeted the guests and never begged for food. 6. I am OBSESSED with my chuck-it ball! I love to play ball! I will bring it back to you, drop it at your feet, and wait patiently for it to be tossed. I hope you're ready to play with me. 7. If you are looking for a handsome, resilient, friendly, loving, and loyal new companion - I'm your guy! **SERIOUS APPLICANTS ONLY! Story
Roxy is just over one year old pure bred (I was told) German shepherd. She has been kenneled due to work hours most of her life by another party. We took her in hopes we could manage keeping her but our other large dogs do not get along with her. She loves to chase balls and play. She is treat driven also.

Story
Meet Lumi! Lumi is a sensitive, loving soul who is eager to start her next adventure. At 2 years old, this Shepherd mix girl still has lots of energy and lots to learn, including her leash manners. She's super food motivated and previously was taught "sit", "gentle", "stay", and "lay down." She is also crate trained as well. Lumi is quite the vocal lady (per usual, our typical Sheppy girl) so any adopters should come prepared to have daily conversations with this lady. She has previously lived with cats, dogs, and children and loved all of them. Does Lumi sound like the perfect match for you? Stop by the Adoption Center during open hours 11am-4pm Thursday-Tuesday (closed Wednesdays). Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Tan Weight: 21.1 Age: 2yrs 2mths 2wks
