Meet Mack! Mack can be a little shy when meeting new people but once he opens up he is this biggest sweetheart! He is super playful, full of energy and loves going on walks. He is very strong on a leash so he would need to go to a home that could him. Mack does great with kids and, but gets nervous around new dogs, so a meet and greet is necessary with other dogs in the home. Mack has shown barrier reactivity here at the shelter, so we do not know if that would continue in a home environment. Mack can be seen at our main ranch or email dogswmr@gmail.com for more information.

Meet Callie,This ball of energy is just waiting for her forever home. Callie is still a puppy and is currently working on learning her commands and doing very well! She is just so eager to please. Callie loves other dogs but is very energetic and would need a dog who could handle that, she also can get a bit possessive of her peoples attention, she will need continued work on this once in a home. A meet and greet is required for any other dog in the home to make sure they get along.Callie is at our main ranch location!Watermelon Mountain Ranch(Across from Cleveland High School)3251 Westphalia Blvd. NERio Rancho, NM 87144505-221-2359Wed-Sun 11am-4pm(adoptions and tours until 3pm)

Story
Meet Vera! This sweet girl has had a rough start to life but she has remained optimistic through all of it. Vera was found running around our property emaciated and covered in ticks, our team was able to catch her and slowly began nursing her back to health. She underwent her spay surgery and our team quickly noticed that she was experiencing some bleeding. After a trip to the ER and a blood transfusion, Vera was able to recover in a foster home. Now Vera is ready to go and eagerly waiting for her forever family to arrive. Vera has shown that she is curious about other dogs but she is still working on proper play manners. She is quite curious about her surroundings so a secure yard is a must. Vera is at our main ranch location!Watermelon Mountain Ranch(Across from Cleveland High School)3251 Westphalia Blvd. NERio Rancho, NM 87144Wed-Sun 11am-4pm(adoptions and tours until 3pm)

Just look at that adorable face! Meet our sweet little Brooklyn, who just happens to be a Halloween baby! With a dashing Husky dad and a beautiful GSD mom, she’s got the best of both worlds! This precious pup is part of a surprise litter, and PACA is making sure her parents are spayed and neutered. At just 9 weeks old, Brooklyn and her siblings are full of health, happiness, and playful puppy energy! We’re on a mission to find them loving forever homes. The perfect family for Brooklyn would have a cozy outdoor space for her to frolic in and another friendly dog to show her the ropes. If you’re ready to welcome this little bundle of joy into your life, she’s waiting for all the cuddles and adventures! If you're interested in meeting Brooklyn, come to our adoption event on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 11am-2pm, located at 6300 San Mateo NE in the south Sprouts parking lot. Alternatively, we can arrange a Private Meet-and-Greet with the foster parent and your household with a completed application. Complete an easy, no-obligation online application and take the first step towards welcoming Brooklyn into your home by clicking on this link https://form.jotform.com/222028369049155 The $250 adoption fee covers all vaccines, spay, microchip, and heartworm/tick-borne illness testing.

Story
Meet the adorable Aurora! This precious little puppy was born on Halloween and is now a wiggly 9-week-old ball of joy! With a dad who's a charming Husky and a mom who's a loving German Shepherd, she’s bound to be a beautiful, big girl! PACA is working hard to ensure her parents are fixed so there aren’t any more surprise puppies. Meanwhile, they're on a mission to find loving forever homes for these sweet furballs. Aurora comes from large breed parents, so she’ll need a spacious yard to zoom around and play!
