Story
Cubby is a beautiful 1 year old, intact male German Shepherd Dog. He is black and tan in color. He has a great personality! He loves and is devoted to his family. He is an outstanding watch dog. He loves children, he is frequently in the company of our 7 grandchildren. The children range in age from the youngest 7 years to the oldest 15 years old. He does not like cats. We have barn cats and he chases them every chance he gets. He has a strong prey drive. We have 3 small dogs. A Yorkie and two poodle mixes. They are females and he is fine with them. We also have Cubbys male littermate and his sire (father.) The 3 males are all intact. Cubby and his littermate are at a point now where they are challenging each other and their sire. Cubby most certainly needs a person with Shepherd experience. We live on 25 acres. Cubby loves being outside joining in with whatever the family is doing. If someone does adopt him and it doesn't work out for any reason, we will immediately take him back.

Listed: 8/25/24 DOB: 6/23/23 He is a great dog and can be good with kids as well as other animals if he has a proper introduction. he loves the beach and his great off leash with a amazing recall. he is crate and house trained, but will need daily exercise to prevent to improve unnecessary chewing. he’s been around dogs of all sizes, including growing up with a Chihuahua and pitbull. he will not beg for food, but can be easily trained if you have experience training dogs. he is about 75 to 80 pounds and just turned one years old in June 2024. it may take him some time to adjust, but overall he is a very calm dog and will get along with just about anybody. Story
Greetings, mortals! I am Aries, a majestic male dog with a powerful spirit that rivals the might of the gods themselves. My lineage is a fusion of strength and courage, much like the mythical Greek warriors of old. As a German Shepherd mix, I bear the mantle of both protector and loyal companion, ready to embark on epic adventures by your side. Behold, my most distinctive feature: my big, floppy ears that listen keenly to the whispers of the wind and the secrets of the world around me. They stand as a testament to my unwavering vigilance, always attuned to the slightest rustle or sign of danger. Like the fiery ram that represents my namesake constellation, I possess boundless energy and a fiery spirit. With every step I take, I channel the might of the heavens, exuding the strength and grace befitting of a true Greek hero. My paws tread the earth with purpose, and my heart beats with the fervor of an ancient battle cry. But fear not, for beneath my divine exterior lies a heart overflowing with affection. I am not just a warrior; I am a loyal and loving companion. Together, we shall conquer every challenge and forge an unbreakable bond that even the gods would envy. So, dear mortal, if you seek a canine ally who embodies the essence of a Greek legend, look no further. I, Aries, the German Shepherd mix with big floppy ears, am here to join you on a quest of a lifetime. Let us create a mythic tale of companionship and courage that will be sung by bards for generations to come. Story
Meet Heidi, the magnificent 70 lb German Shepherd with a heart as beautiful as her black and tan coat. This sweet senior female is ready to find her forever home with a family who will cherish her gentle nature and loving spirit. Heidi's friendly disposition makes her an ideal companion for adults and kids alike. She's a joy to be around and gets along well with people and other dogs. However, cats might not be her cup of tea, so a cat-free home is preferable. Though she may not love the crate, Heidi is house-trained and prefers to be close to her human pack. She adores spending time outdoors, especially hunting mice and squirrels in a yard, making a home with a yard a must for her. Her backstory is one of triumph over fear and anxiety. After being found wandering a neighborhood, Heidi was initially anxious and insecure, but her foster family and their other six dogs have worked wonders for her confidence and happiness. She has turned into a playful, secure, and happy girl, no longer needing anxiety medication. Heidi is a versatile companion who enjoys walking, playing fetch with squeaky toys and tennis balls, and being a loving and nurturing nanny to her doggy friends. She's a devoted and faithful companion, always by your side, offering comfort when needed. Her ideal adopter would be someone who works from home or is retired, as Heidi thrives in the company of her loved ones. She gets along well with most dogs but may feel a bit nervous around more dominant ones. Heidi's charm extends to her adorable crooked ear, adding to her endearing looks. With her heart of gold and gentle nature, she's one of the sweetest and kindest girls you'll ever meet. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion who will bring joy to your life, Heidi is the one for you. Embrace this wonderful girl and let her fill your days with love, laughter, and cherished memories. With Heidi by your side, life will be brighter, and your heart will be full. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Hi people of San Antonio! My name is Ralf aka Ralfy aka Ralfy Palfy. My fosters gave me the last nickname because they say I will make someone a great Pal. You see, I was found on the side of the road barely alive after being hit by a car. I couldn't walk very well because my pelvis was broken in three places. But after visiting this place called the veterinarian, I started feeling much better. Unfortunately before my accident I had never met kind humans and still to this day, I'm very easily startled and scared of new people. It's going to take someone very special and patient to earn my trust. But once you earn it, I'm the sweetest and most gentle dog ever. I love love love chest rubs and ear scratches. But my number one love of all time is treats!!! I love all flavors so if you decide to take me home, don't be shy when shopping for me! I enjoy sunbathing and relaxing in my kennel. It's my safe place when I feel overwhelmed. I promise to love you if you promise to take the time to get to know me. I will do best in a quiet house with maybe 1 or 2 adults and an older mature doggy friend. I don't care much for traveling and prefer to be a homebody. I do love to play with doggy friends and don't mind cats either. I'm currently working on becoming more confident in public spaces. What do you say? Can you give me a shot? Ralf is kennel trained and potty trained. He is a local adoption only. His current foster is a trainer who is willing to offer two free sessions along with his adoption to set you both up for success and better help you understand what he will need and how you can help provide that for him. He is a Shepherd mix that weighs roughly 50lbs. Local adoption only $200 (in TX)

Story
Poor Bella was seen being dumped by her owner on a commercial street where big rigs constantly are passing through. It took a few days for us to build her trust to bring her to safety in our yard. Full of ticks and fleas we were able to clean her and give her love and attention which by the looks of it she never had love since she had the collar marks embedded into her fur where she had been tied up :( Bella loves toys and gets the zoomies when excited. She loves to run so preferably go to someone with a big yard or an active person. She is always high alert so she is always taking care of the house. She is very loyal to her person and shows how grateful she is to her foster family. She has her own personality and just wants love attention and she is ready to be spoiled by her forever family. * she will need a 6 foot fence * she does get along with dogs but gets jealous about her person *no cats *loves to Play in kiddie pool *walks on leash ok but still learning not to pull Bella Marie deserves a real home and will be your most loyal buddy ever!!! Love me back and that is a recipe for an AMAZING LIFE!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area)
