Story
Peanut 🥜 is a beautiful German Shepherd/Pit/Lab/Boxer mix who is a loving, smart, and loyal dog.  She is always ready to chase a ball, go for a walk, catch a frisbee and then cuddle up on the couch with you.  See those adorable ears?  They will make you smile every day.Important details about Peanut:🥜 One and a half years old and 45 pounds so is fully grown.  Perfect size to jump in the car to go for an adventure or cozy up on the couch.🥜 Fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed and healthy.🥜 Potty trained 🥜 Loves to fetch all the toys and catch her frisbee!🥜Wonderful with other dogs - attends daycare regularly.  Has not been around cats.🥜 Great with kids, but due to her energy, older kids would be better.🥜Learns commands very quickly and knows multiple commands.  Tends to jump but she is working hard on only doing that when playing with her toys outside.Over the past few months of caring for and training her, we have learned that she is very intelligent, loyal and a snuggle bug.  She has anxiety and struggles being alone.  She does not do well in a crate with the door shut, so would do better in a safe, puppy-proof indoor space, rarely left alone.  She would thrive in a house that has at least one other dog, a large yard, and an owner who is around much of the time and is active.  Because of her intelligence and athleticism, she would be great for someone who is interested in doing dog agility or other dog sports with her. Peanut is in the Rochester area and she needs a new home that can provide this environment to help her thrive.  If you are interested in meeting her, please contact the current owners at peanutdog2024@gmail.comPlease submit an Adoption Application here: www.rocthedogsrescue.com

Story
Xena is a sweet dog. She is playful and has a ton of energy. We adopted her when she was 9 weeks old and she is 4 years old this month of February. We have kids and Xena loves kids. She loves to run in my yard and loves taking walks too. She does not bark often, but will sometimes if there is something like a deer on the other side of fence.Xena is ok with cats but my cat is very territorial and wont go near her. Xena likes other dogs and wants to play. We have brought her to dog parks and she loved the attention. Some neighbors and friends bring their dogs over and she loves to run around the yard with them . Unfortunately my son is allergic to my animals now and we need to rehome Xena.

Story
Our pets are physically located and fostered in NC until adopted. Once adopted we can transport to you. We have a cost effective transporter that has stops in most north eastern states. She runs every 2 weeks. Please note! Don't just apply just because she has a cheap adopt fee. You must prove you can afford to adopt regardless! I find that most of the folks who apply for my reduced fee dogs back out when they realize they are still responsible for the transport fee. If this applies to you please don't waste our time!Scarlett was born 2-1-21. Her mom was a german shepherd golden mix. We are not positive what dad was. Scarlett is active and very loving. She is good with people and ok with other dogs her size. She is too playful for small dogs. She needs a large dog only home. She is NOT good with cats. She needs an active home with room to run. She would not do well in a cramped up apartment with no exercise. She is house trained and crate trained,This baby will go home spayed and current on vaccinations, deworming, flea preventives, started on heartworm prevention and microchipped. This pup will receive a health certificate issued by our vet prior to going home. The adopter will get all his health records with the adoption. We require a prescreen application to apply. You can get that on our main website at www.saveamuttkennel.net

Story
Our pets are fostered and physically located in NC until adopted. Once adopted we can deliver to your location or one of our north eastern delivery locations. We have a transporter who delivers north ever other week. Sheldon came from a local shelter. They were over full and he was in danger of being euthanized. He is a german shepherd mix. The vet said he is around 2 years old( as of 6-22-23). He is a tall lanky dog, around 65 to 70 pounds. He is a sweet boy and very affectionate. He needs a home with room to run. He is energetic and would need an adopter who can embrace it. He will make THE BEST hiking buddy ever. He likes water to. He would be best in a home where he can be the only dog. If he can't be an only dog he needs a home with a large breed submissive female. He would also do well with puppies. He is doing well with crate training and house training. He will go to his new home current on vaccines, testing, preventives, neutered and microchipped. He will receive a complete physical by our vet prior to going home. He will also be issued a certificate of Health. The adopter will get all the health records with adoption. We require a pre screen application to adopt. You can get that on our website at www.saveamuttkennel.net
