Story
Ginger is a super sweet, sensitive dog who was rescued from a less than ideal situation. She needs training, but already is a great dog. Walks on leash, crate trained though not necessary, and gets along with other dogs for the most part. in fact, she adores her buddies. Meeting new dogs, she can pull, bark and lunge although she settles down and plays immediately. She is very person-oriented and is a great companion. She is athletic, beautiful, and strong though seems to be happy just hanging around her person/people. She was neglected in a multi-dog situation so needs some work regarding other dogs but has been making great progress. Generally she's sweet, cuddly, and easy. Loves belly scratches and giving kisses.

Story
Sailor was found in Charlotte, NC at 10 weeks of age. She has had a single family since. Sailor is high energy and very affectionate with a lot of love to give. Sailor would thrive in a home that does not have young children due to her size, and has room to run in a yard. Long hikes are a favorite past time; she would be an excellent hiking or running companion. She is still learning how to play fetch and is getting better every day; she is house trained with basic commands. Sailor is very smart and learns quickly. She will be your best friend in no time!

Story
So our Delta girl is ready to find a family to call her own. Delta was found as stray after Hurricane Helene and no owner ever came forward for her. Delta is estimated to be 1 - 1.5 years old - she came to us testing heartworm positive and we have since had those treated and her microfilaria test was negative on 1/24 which is great news. Delta is current on vaccines, microchipped, spayed, dewormed, she is current on her monthly heartworm prevention and flea/tick prevention. She is currently 52 pounds and as you can see from the pictures she is a beautiful girl Here is what Delta's amazing foster Mom, Kara, had to say about her: Delta is a super sweet girl. Although she is very timid and a little fearful of new people, once she becomes comfortable with you, all she wants is to be with you. She LOVES attention and will climb in your lap for pets. Delta is housebroken and crate trained. She does great with other dogs, with slow and proper introductions and loves all her foster fur brothers and sisters. She has also done great with kids. One thing about Delta is she does all her rough housing and crazy play outside, once she is inside she becomes calm and chill. She also loves car rides We will require a fenced in yard for Delta as well. If you are interested in adopting this amazing girl - please go to our website www.boxerbuttsandothermutts.org and fill out one of our adoption applications. We will not proceed with a meet and greet until the application is received and reviewed. We do check references and require a home visit. Delta's adoption fee is $250.00 All of our dogs are in individual foster homes throughout Western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina - we do not have a facility. Please share this girl as we know the perfect family is out there for her and she is so deserving of that

Story
I'm Aubba, yeah I know that's a weird name but my foster Mom says that I screamed that at her for days when I was first rescued. See I'd been running around loose getting the road and causing trouble so I didn't much like being confined inside. Oh boy was I wrong being inside and loved on is totally amazing. My Dad is a German Shepherd and my Mom is a Mountain Cur. Guess I get my stubby tail from her. It may be a kinda weird looking little stubby but it wags all the time. I get excited and it just starts moving and I just can't help myself. I'm a playful goofy boy that loves toys and my favorite is sticks that I can carry around and chew on. Chewy bones are also great. I'm a bit of a collector and I like to put all the toys and sticks in a pile. I don't mind sharing them with my friends at my foster home. I'm a very active boy and I like anyone that will run a play with me. I'm ready for my forever home with Hoomans to spoil me rotten. Is that you?
