Story
Margot is a purebred German Shepherd born 5/30/21.. She is sweet but hasn't had much physical love. It appears that she was left to her own devices most of the time. She wants your attention and gets really excited and wants to bowl you over when you try to play with her. She is not sure what toys are and has no clue how to play with them. Margot is super smart and is totally trainable she just needs a little patience to learn. She is young and very energetic. She would probably do best in a home without small children. She isn't aggressive or bad with kids just very rough so probably would not be good with really small ones. She is NOT good with cats. She is a big girl weighing in between 75 and 80 pounds. Does well on leash. Is house trained and crate trained. Likes to ride and go for walks. Margot is spayed and up to date on vaccines. Adoption Fee $350.00 Margot is a Mercy Hero Dog Mercy Heroes are special fosters who have a higher adoption fee than others, due to their breed. This higher fee helps us offset the cost of extra medical care other fosters need when they are taken into rescue. Mercy Heroes allow us to do our best to never turn away any animal in need. Story
I'm Aubba, yeah I know that's a weird name but my foster Mom says that I screamed that at her for days when I was first rescued. See I'd been running around loose getting the road and causing trouble so I didn't much like being confined inside. Oh boy was I wrong being inside and loved on is totally amazing. My Dad is a German Shepherd and my Mom is a Mountain Cur. Guess I get my stubby tail from her. It may be a kinda weird looking little stubby but it wags all the time. I get excited and it just starts moving and I just can't help myself. I was born around May 23, 2024. I'm crate trained and working on house training. I'm doing good if I do say so myself. I've had my first puppy vaccine and it hurted my tushy. I've been de-wormed whatever that means. I'm ready for my forever home with Hoomans to spoil me rotten. Is that you? Story
My foster Mom says my name is Norbert but I think it's Off because that's what she is always telling me. I don't like off, I want to be as close as possible to you so that I gets lots of love. My life goal is to be loved... I'm a goofy happy go lucky kinda guy. Mom says that she can hear galump galump when I walk. I am a bit clumsy but I don't think I make that noise when I walk. I think it's just these big ole feet getting in the way. I'm a German Shepherd/Plott Hound mix born March 9 2024. I've had all my puppy vaccines and been de-wormed. Adoption Fee $100.00 Adoption Application: mercyrescue.org

Story
Sweet Layla is a gentle soul searching for a quiet home where she can spread her joy. Originally caught by Animal Control in Upstate, SC, she was taken to the county shelter where she was to be euthanized for space. Layla was terrified in the shelter environment and not thriving. Since being rescued by our organization and moving to foster, Layla has opened up and shown that she is an amazing dog! At 10 years old, she is mature and done with all of the puppy shenanigans. Layla is shy and hesitant when meeting new people, but warms up quickly (especially to females). Layla is dog social and cat friendly. Children intimidate her with their loud noises and sudden movements, so teenagers would probably be best, though she'd much prefer a mature household. When it comes to crating, Layla enters for a treat and relaxes, lays down, and is quiet. While she is crate trained, her foster currently leaves her out in the house when unattended and Layla is not destructive and just naps in her bed. She is house trained and has never had an accident in the house.Layla is always happy to go outside for a walk. She pulls minimally, but is easily corrected. She does zig zag as she is always exploring! She rides well in the car.Overall, Layla is a sweet, quiet, eager to please mature lady. She loves to get out of the house and explore with good energy despite her age. With a patient family to let her adjust, get to know them, and trust, she will make a wonderful loyal friend. ##2100813##
