🐾Dasher has been working with our friends at Perfect Pet. 🐾He is a very friendly boy who knows his basic obedience commands like walking nicely on a leash, sit, down, come, and place. He is muzzle trained. Dasher would prefer a home by himself but would be okay to go to a home with a calm housemate through proper introduction and structured playtimes. Pushy or ill mannered dogs are a big trigger for him. He does great with people and loves to give snuggles and kisses as well as going for joy rides in the car. When he’s outside he loves to play ball, go on walks and run. When he’s inside he loves to lounge on the couch ready to cuddle. Dasher’s not a big barker either and keeps quiet most of the time. His new owners will need to be willing to put time into continuing his training and learning the commands he knows. Perfect Pet will do free lessons with his adoptive owners so you can learn everything this smart boy knows!Dasher would prefer a fenced in yard and a big comfy couch to lounge. ❤️He has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. This pointy-eared girl is Miss Juniper. Juniper was found a few months ago as a stray outside of Ney. To everyone's surprise, she did not end up getting reclaimed by her previous folks and has been hanging out with us while we try to find her a forever family. Upon arrival, we learned that Juniper was heartworm positive and she immediately began treatment. She has been an absolute rock-star and completed treatment with ease. Juniper feels like a brand new pup and you could never tell that she had been sick. She has a very outgoing and energetic personality, true to her breed. We think she would do best in a home with no super small children as she can get a little mouthy when playing and she is an independent spirit that likes to do her own thing. Juniper is pretty strong on leash and due to her arrival as a stray, we would strongly suggest a fenced yard or someone willing to take daily walks with her. She has been a little reactive to some of the more "intense" shelter dogs so any canine introductions should be slow and controlled. If you're a Shepherd lover and are looking for an extra special girl to your family, consider adopting Juniper!**Spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines & monthly prevention. Have you ever seen such a handsome dog?This is Silas! Silas was found running as a stray and was never reclaimed by his previous humans. We are guessing he is around 3 years old and he's as healthy as a horse! Silas can be cautious when meeting new people and does best with slow, easy introductions. Based on his reactions to the other dogs, introductions with them will also have to be slow! We think he would do best in a home with older children and needs his boundaries respected! He's an extremely smart dog and has been easy to get into a routine here at the shelter with, so any additional training at home should be a breeze! He loves to play long games of fetch, then when he's tired he loves to lay in the kitty pool or get sprayed with the hose!Due to his past, we would need for Silas to go to a home with a securely fenced yard or someone that's willing to walk him daily. He's a boy that is going to need a fair amount of exercise and something to keep his brain busy if he's to be left home for long periods of time. He has some restraint issues and makes his boundaries clear. This also means he will need a home with lots of large breed experience! **Neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccines & monthly prevention. He weighs 82 lbs**

We got Hades when he was a puppy and he is now 5.5 years old. He is a guard dog so he can be pretty skeptical upon meeting strangers. Prefer a home with someone who has experience with his breed, no other dogs or cats and either no children or children who are older. We have 3 children of our own (two teens and a 2 year old). Due to personal reasons we were not able to keep him updated with vaccines or get him neutered. Hades is house trained but he does suffer with anxiety and separation, so he does have an occasional accident. He is crate trained but doesn’t always enjoy it. He has broken a few cages throughout the years from jumping on them. Knows some commands (sit, shake, lay/down), I’ve been trying to work on “stay” for the last few years but it isn’t sticking. He does good on “stay” for a few seconds. Even though he is 5.5 yrs old, he still has the energy of a puppy. Unfortunately, we are no longer able to keep him as our landlord is selling our home
