We do our best to inform adopters about the potential breeds for each dog.We are a dog only facility so we do not know how most of our dogs will be with cats. Even if a dog is surrendered to us and said to be good with cats there is no way to be sure the dog will be good with your cats. We do have a 7 day foster-to-adopt program so that you can see how the dog interacts with your cats before adoption.

He, along with his 4 brothers and sisters came to DASH from a rural shelter that was overfull. He is said to be a mix, but only a DNA test can tell for sure. He is a sweet, loveable, puppy who is working on all of his puppy manners, including crate training, leash training and housebreaking. His new family will need to continue working with him on these to ensure he becomes the best dog he can be. He gets along with other dogs and adults. He has not been kid or cat tested. We don't know a lot about her history but she was loving the car ride & giving lots of kisses on her way to our DASH Prison Training Program. She is now in a foster home working on her basic training, leash training and housebreaking. Davonna will need to be the only dog in the home and also in a home without cats or small animals. She'll need someone willing to work with her to continue her training as she acclimates to her new home.
