He is a sweet, loveable, puppy who is working on all of his puppy manners, including crate training, leash training and housebreaking. His new family will need to continue working with him on these to ensure he becomes the best dog he can be. He gets along with other dogs and adults. He has not been kid or cat tested. He’s a bit under socialized with both people and other dogs, but he’s made great progress. He’s done wonderfully being separated from his sibling and now enjoys a more home-like environment. Woody has minimal reactivity when given calm, clear communication. Like most Shepherds, he’ll bark at strangers behind a fence or door, but it’s short-lived and easily managed. Woody craves structure, consistency, and plenty of head rubs. He enjoys chewing on sticks and toys but isn’t too interested in chasing balls or flirt poles.
