Story
If the eyes don't get you then I don't know what will!!! Frankie is a stunning female golden/ shepherd mix. What you can see is her beautiful physical features but what you can't see is her internal beauty. Frankie is as sweet on the inside as she is on the outside . Always first in line for a little affection. Loves to slide down the hill in the grass in her belly ( so cute ). Loves her little siblings and friends and plays very well with the bigger dogs as well. Frankie has quite the story to tell. She was born one of 11 puppies ( mom is a golden). I suppose our time frame wasn't working for the owner so she attempted to toss the whole litter over the fence at a local rescue. Thankfully there were cameras and alarms so she was unsuccessful. We immediately dropped what we were doing and headed straight down to Ms to get the full litter. Frankie is the only one with striking ice blue eyes but they are all beautiful in their own right . Frankie is in a foster home in Memphis, Tn. Once we have an approved application , she will travel via Rescue Vet Transport to her new forever family. The transport travels every weekend ( leaving Memphis, Tn Friday morning around 6 am) making stops along the way to meet adopters to get their new pups ( transport is an additional $185) if you would like to make Frankie a part of your family we have included the link below to our adoption application for your convenience . Please keep in mind that our organization is 100% Volunteer run. We spend countless hours, perusing applications, calling vets, and speaking with potential adopters. If you receive an email or a text message from one of our associates that means your application has been approved. Out of respect for their time and efforts, we would appreciate a response back. If you have found another, pet, are no longer interested in adopting, are no longer interested in our pet, whatever the reason may be, please just acknowledge our communication. We have reached out to numerous adopters with no response back and it's very frustrating. Thank you for considering our sweet pups for adoption! https://forms.gle/APKvbgFJcaRvgKgk9

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Harmony is a two-year-old Belgian Malinois/GSD/mix. She was saved from a horrible situation and it is now back to her normal weight and trying to heal emotionally. Harmony is potty trained and will let you know when she needs to go outside. She loves her toys and she loves to play ball. She would do best in an active household without young children and without cats. She would do best with another playful or easy going dog.   Harmony should be with someone who is mostly home at first. She does well in her crate while someone is in the house and she does OK in the house when she is alone but in the crate and alone causes her anxiety. She trust most females but needs to warm up to some men. She should have slow introductions to all new people while she learns new socialization skills.  Harmony needs someone who is patient while she is healing from her abuse. Once she knows that she is safe with you, she gives her whole heart and wants nothing more than to snuggle up beside you, go for a run, play and play and play with her toys, and even crawl under your covers to sleep.  She is super smart and knows basic commands and is very food motivated so continued positive only training would be wonderful for everyone. If you think that you can love Harmony forever, she will gladly return your affection.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 24, 2024, 12:13 am

*** PLEASE READ HANKS ENTIRE PROFILE BEFORE APPLYING *** Hi! HANK here!Let me tell you a tad about myself then I will let my foster mom chime in. She says I am a work in progress ;)I am such a handsome boy! I am 2 years old, weigh around 60 pounds, and am German Shepherd mix. I am such a lucky boy because even with all my quirks, I am in a loving kind foster home learning to become a dog. They have been so patient with me. And not to brag, but I have made tons of progress even though I still have my fear of all male humans. My forever home will need to be the right environment for me to successfully join the home. Here is what my foster mama says: Hank has the potential to be a great pet. I definitely would NOT recommend him for a first-time dog owner and it would be ideal if the adopter has German Shepherd or at least large dog experience. Hank is very loving to those he trusts and is mostly a good boy. He learns very quickly. He is very food motivated and does well with that method of training. Now that Hank has built confidence and trust in our household, we see great improvements in his most of his fear-based behaviors. Hank would be a great candidate for professional training and possibly some behavioral training to continue to build his confidence.Due to Hanks fear of men, he must be under complete control when in a situation where he may encounter a man he doesnt know. He is a bite risk to men. A fence cannot be relied upon to confine Hank as he can jump and leap very high. Hank must always be kept in control!Hank plays well with our dog. We can also let other dogs in the house also and Hank is excited to play properly with them, taking their cues on whats appropriate. He can get along with cats but does play a little too rough for them and our cats dont care much for him!Hank goes potty outside if I take him outside when he comes and finds me or when I notice he is standing at the door. Outside, I do have to remind him to potty because he gets distracted. Hank is a quick learner and is very capable of trusting and building confidence. He just needs to be in the right environment to flourish. His transformation since he got here has been amazing to watch! There is so much more I can tell you about Hank, especially how my husband and son gained Hanks trust. If you think you may be interested in adopting Hank, I can answer any questions you may have. So as you can tell, I will need someone that is experienced, patient, and willing to continue my training. If you think you might be my special somebody, please apply at: caninecollective.org Sincerely,HANK

Story
He was rescued in September, and is currently believed to be 12 months. Unfortunately he has some traits that just seem to not be meshing with our family. Overall a good dog just not the right fit for us. I know hes still a puppy and he will improve with age however I truly believe he will thrive with someone more suited for him and as such I will not be just handing him over to just anyone I want to ensure he finds the best home possible. I have a 7yr shepherd they get along quite well no real issues there. I do have a young son and although Ive never seen aggression he has definitely nipped at him on multiple occasions not a full on bite just odd flea bites that seem to stem from jealousy when receiving attention. He also has a seemingly uncontrollable obsession with water in any form and as such has to be monitored or he tends to have accidents otherwise. When monitored he does just fine. He is still crated when away from home and has never destroyed or damaged anything.

Story
My Zelda is a 10 month old female who needs a new home. Due to moving, a busy work schedule, and landlord issues it saddened us both that we can not continue to live with eachother. As her breeding suggests, she is high energy, enjoys running, long walks, dog parks for socializing with all kinds of other dogs. She has had 1 heat and remains unspayed. I wanted the option to be given for other owners in case this situation was to happen, I would be more than willing to pay for it once adopted if needed. She just needs a loving family that will have time for her, spend time with her, care for her and her needs. Zelda is a very sweet girl and fun loving just like any pup. She listens well and is partially house-broken. She gets along with children but is still unaware of her size. She responds well to commands and training with high affection/physical treatment of rubs and hugs. She will also do the most for treats.
