Story
I really need a family with another dog (or can be only dog), a securely fenced yard and someone that works from home. You can contact us directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com, or fill out an application at either https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Exotic/Other I need an active German Shepherd family home. Patty is a 8 mos old 45 lb active German Shepherd mix (probably some Belgian Malnois) I will do best with an active alpha German Shepherd experienced owner with a secure 6 ft fenced yard. I am a semi energetic happy gal that LOVES my people unconditionally. I do like other dogs and cats. I like daily walks, car rides, toys, dog beds and hanging out with my humans. I am house trained and crate trained. (but much prefer being free and hanging out with my humans ....do you work from home?) I will require daily walks and some dog training. No children under 6 yrs of age. I am NOT an apartment or condo dog. I am a family pet! This is a courtesy post for Helotes Humane Society You can contact us directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com, or fill out and application at either https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Exotic/Other All adopted pups and dogs are transported to WA/OR families when fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped. For information on how to adopt me, please contact my foster parents at info@dogdiggityrescue.com. L&S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate. Story
Hello, my name is Valentina!I am a playful, silly girl whose idea of a good time is tossing around a good stuffy toy or going for a long walking adventure. I am very affectionate and snuggly with my humans. I can be nervous of new people, especially men, but warm up nicely with treats and toys. I would be a great agility dog as I'm quite athletic and skilled at jumping through hoops, literally. MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES...CHILDREN: No young children. Teenagers should be ok.OTHER DOGS: No, I don't seem to enjoy the company of other dogs.CATS: Yes, I did well with the cats in my foster home.FIRST-TIME DOG OWNERS: No, I would do best with someone who has dog experience. FENCED-IN YARD: Highly recommended.HOUSING ENVIRONMENT: No apartment buildings or homes where I will be in tight spaces with strangers.SOMEONE HOME MOST OF THE DAY: Not necessarily.SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME...ACTIVITY LEVEL: Medium.HOUSE-TRAINED: Yes.If you think I could be a good match for your home, click the "adopt me" button to apply!

Story
Winnie the German Shepherd x Doberman mix! At least those are two of her breeds listed on her DNA results! Cool stuff! But if you are looking for your own Winnie to your Piglet to go on adventures with, look no further! This lovely girl came to us as a stray but was never claimed. No matter, that didn`t stop her from becoming a well-known face around here. When Winnie first arrived, she was a little shy and hesitant around new people and would give a loud bark to let them know she was there! But with socialization and exposure to new faces, Winnie has come out of her shy shell and is ready to make some friends!Winnie is very treat motivated and already knows sit, down, give paw, touch and is even working on roll over! Oh, did I mention, she aced the wobble board training too! She is a very smart girl who will have an easy time with training. She can be a little excited on leash and pull a bit but is doing well with her training and will even stop at doors and wait for them to be opened. With how smart she is, she will stride next to you in no time. Just have those treats handy!Winnie`s ideal home would give her the ability to exercise frequently throughout the day whether that be in a closed backyard with some rounds of fetch, a nice long walk for her to sniff some things out or even some mental stimulation with some puzzle games!Winnie may do well in a house with other dogs but a meet and greet would be ideal. As for kids, Winnie would probably love them but because of her size and how excited she gets, older kids may be best around her!If you`re ready for your next adventure, please contact Toronto Animal Services West Shelter at 416-338-6271 during regular business hours. Meet and greets are being done by appointment only.

KALI IS ALL SMILES!Kali is fun, energetic, and extremely smart! She is happiest using her smarts to learn new obedience cues and tricks - and loves to show off the ones she knows. Her foster mom says "Kali is an absolutely wonderful young dog, she is loyal and will bond with her person and look to them for leadership."ABOUT KALI:- Kali is approximately 60 pounds, mid-sized Shepherd/Husky Mix, approximately 3-4 years old. She has been surrendered by her owner due a change in her owner's health condition. - Rarely barks indoors (never outside) - She has not shown any signs of separation anxiety- She is playful, give her a stick and she's happy to lay for hours watching the world go by.- She gets along with most dogs; if her potential adopter has a dog, compatibility would be determined at a meet and greet- Kali is spayed, house-trained, micro-chipped and has her core vaccinations KALI'S IDEAL HOME:- An active family who loves to walk and can give her exercise, attention, and mental stimulation she needs - if she gets this, she's a happy doggo and well-behaved in the home. - Continue her positive reinforcement training to further her skills and help build a strong bond with the family- We are not recommending her for a home with young children- She may be okay with another dog in the home, that would be determined in a meet and greet and in discussion with the Adoption Coordinator- Follow her dietary regimeIf you have questions about Kali or our adoption process please contact her Adoption Coordinator at: nda.ehs@gmail.com VISIT: www.etobicokehumanesociety.com
