Story
I really need a family with another dog (or can be only dog), a securely fenced yard and someone that works from home. You can contact us directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com, or fill out an application at either https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Exotic/Other I need an active German Shepherd family home. Patty is a 3 yr old 80 lb active German Shepherd mix (probably some Belgian Malnois) I will do best with an active alpha German Shepherd experienced owner with a secure 6 ft fenced yard. I am a semi energetic happy gal that LOVES my people unconditionally. I do like other dogs and cats. I like daily walks, car rides, toys, dog beds and hanging out with my humans. I am house trained and crate trained. (but much prefer being free and hanging out with my humans ....do you work from home?) I will require daily walks and some dog training. No children under 6 yrs of age. I am NOT an apartment or condo dog. I am a family pet! This is a courtesy post for Helotes Humane Society You can contact us directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com, or fill out and application at either https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Exotic/Other All adopted pups and dogs are transported to WA/OR families when fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped. For information on how to adopt me, please contact my foster parents at info@dogdiggityrescue.com. L&S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate. Story
Hello! My name is Taylor!I`m a loving girl who can be timid meeting new people but since being at GHS I`ve come out of my shell beautifully and seem to be less timid with strangers. I am a petite little thing, not even 60 pounds! My new family should know that I work as a part-time digger and will help with any gardening needs you have or even snow removal when the time comes. I like to dig holes for my toys and then cover them up by shoveling dirt over it with my nose. I may sometimes bark at dogs on leash if they are too close. But with a bit of space and some positive reinforcement with treats, I have made really nice progress so far! I am a snuggly and affectionate girl and at the end of the day I`m just looking for a loving home that will show me what a good girl I am.MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES…CHILDREN: Teenagers may be ok but no young children given my timid nature.OTHER DOGS: Yes, with a friendly, playful dog who won`t be off-put by my initial barking.CATS: Potentially, with a cat experienced with and comfortable living with dogs. FIRST-TIME DOG OWNERS: I would do best with someone who has previous dog experience.FENCED-IN YARD: Recommended.HOUSING ENVIRONMENT: Any with yard preferred. Rural would also be great!SOMEONE HOME MOST OF THE DAY: Not necessarily.SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME…ACTIVITY LEVEL: Medium. HOUSE-TRAINED: Yes.If you think I could be a good match for your home, click the “Adopt Me” button to apply!

Hello! My name is Essen!I`ve been waiting for my family to come along since February. My Christmas wish is that my new family will adopt me before the end of the year and I can ring in the new year in my new home. I`m a big sweetheart and always start my day with snuggles in bed with foster mom! I`m a very friendly girl and enjoy meeting new humans. I prefer humans over dogs and would be a great family dog for a home with older kids. I am so smart and have learned so many new skills because of my awesome foster mom. I`ve also recently discovered that I am an excellent cottage buddy and love to swim!MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES…CHILDREN: Yes, older and mature children!OTHER DOGS: Other dogs cause me stress, so I`m looking to be the only dog.CATS: Since I like to chase little critters, I shouldn`t live with kitties.FIRST-TIME DOG OWNERS: I would do best in a home that has dog experience.FENCED-IN YARD: Highly recommended.HOUSING ENVIRONMENT: Homes with yard preferred.SOMEONE HOME MOST OF THE DAY: I do well home alone!SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME…ACTIVITY LEVEL: Medium.HOUSE-TRAINED: Yes!If you think I could be a good match for your home, click the “Adopt Me” button to apply!

Story
Hello! My name is Kelsey!I`m a kind girl who can be anxious in unfamiliar situations. I can be a bit timid of new people but warm up with time if they have some yummy treats and let me give them a few sniff-overs. Once I warm up, I am affectionate. I do also have a playful side and even though I`m not a young pup, I still like to romp around in the snow and tear up my stuffy toys! I do bark when I see unfamiliar dogs on leash. Gotta make sure you see them too, ya know? I am a smart girl, I respond well to positive training methods and I would love to join a home that will help me feel safe and secure.MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES…CHILDREN: I would do best in an adult-only home given my sensitive nature.OTHER DOGS: I would be most comfy as the only dog in the home.CATS: Potentially, with a cat who has lived with and is confident around dogs.FIRST-TIME DOG OWNERS: I would do best with someone who has previous dog experience.FENCED-IN YARD: Recommended.HOUSING ENVIRONMENT: Any with yard preferred. Story
Ellie / Female / 13 Weeks / Shepherd x Husky + / Dogs: Yes / Cats: Yes / Kids: Yes / Location: Cambridge Meet Ellie! Ellie is a sweet northern girl who was found wandering a dump with her brother before making the long journey south in search of a family to call her own — and she’s already proving to be such a gem. Ellie loves to supervise in the kitchen, follow her curiosity, and spend time outside chasing leaves. When she’s all tuckered out, she’s happiest cuddled up with you or snoozing in her crate. She enjoys meeting new people, playing with other dogs, and she’s very food motivated — kongs, bones, stuffed toys, liver treats… you name it, she’s in! Playful, affectionate, adventurous, and confident, Ellie is a smart cookie who makes training fun and easy. She’s still working on fully loving her crate, but she’s already making great progress. This sweet girl truly is something special. Apply to Adopt! https://forms.gle/pvdFxdvNQxuSnHkX9
