Story
Hi, I'm Hugo! I'm about 8 months old and weigh 54 pounds. I'm still a young boy who is learning my manners. I am jumpy and energetic which means I would love to go on hikes, play games, and romp around a yard!Do you like dogs? I have been okay with some dogs at the shelter. I am a high energy, young pup though and don't know all my dog manners. Please bring any dogs in the home for a dog intro to see if we'd be a good doggy duo!Cats? I have no known history living with cats. Training and supervision will be necessary for me to successfully live with a cat!Kids? I can get very jumpy and mouthy at times and need a home with older children 12+I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. I have no known history. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I'm looking for my forever home and it could be with you!ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. You will get to choose between a one year, two year, or three year license. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. Story
Hi, I'm Vix! I'm about 6 months old and weigh 41 pounds.** I still need to be spayed so when my forever family decides to adopt me, I will be placed on hold. Then you can come pick me up after my surgery. **Do you like...Dogs? I have successfully lived with another dog before. Please bring any dogs in the home to meet to see how we get along!Cats? I don't have any experience with feline friends. Slow introductions and separation of space would help set us up for success.Kids? I can be nervous with new people and would like to start out meeting kiddos 10+ who can be respectful with me. Please bring any kids in the home to meet.Anything else you'd like us to know, Vix? I'm a little nervous in the shelter setting, but very sweet and silly once I warm up. My forever family should be committed to daily mental and physical exercise for me to ensure I grow up to be the best version of myself!I came into the shelter as a surrender and the above information is all recommendations based on my previous history and the behavior seen at the shelter. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. Story
Meet Thor Introducing Thor, the big and friendly dog with a heart of love! This squishy pup is a great companion for anyone who loves big, playful dogs. Thor is a natural social butterfly and loves spending time with other dogs, making him a great fit for households with multiple pets. He loves being in the house and is quick to make himself at home. Thor is being fostered in a home in Seguin, TX and is available to adopt out of state but needs to be an only dog as a meet and greet is required. Thor is a dog who's always up for an adventure, and he particularly loves car rides. He jumps into the car with ease and settles in for the ride, making him the perfect companion for road trips and outings with the family. With his love for exploration, we recommend a high fence for this big boy. But Thor isn't just about fun and games; he's also a well-trained pup who knows how to sit and walks well on a leash. He's always eager to learn new things and is a quick study. With his love of learning and eagerness to please, Thor is a great candidate for agility training. While in the house, Thor is content in a kennel or just laying on the couch. And let's not forget, Thor loves attention and is a big snuggler. Whether it's curling up on the couch for a movie night or cuddling in bed, Thor loves being close to his humans and soaking up all the love and affection. In short, Thor is a big and friendly dog who's always ready for fun and adventure. If you're looking for a loyal and playful companion who's great with other pets, loves car rides, and enjoys a good snuggle, then Thor is the perfect fit for you! Story
Meet Sadie: Your Perfect German Shepherd Companion Sadie is a 6-month-old German Shepherd pup with a heart full of sweetness and an impressively calm demeanor. One of the quietest puppies around, Sadie doesn't make a peep in her crate and patiently sits while her food is being prepared or her leash is being attached. She even waits for the "ok" before heading out the door. Despite her calm nature, Sadie has typical puppy energy that can be satisfied with 15-20 minutes of chasing a stick or tennis ball. The rest of the time, she loves to lay quietly at your feet, content just being near you or within sight. She has a remarkable sense of bedtime, happily sleeping in her crate or on a pallet beside your bed. Sadie is a polite pup who only barks when she needs to go outside to potty or when the neighbor's cat refuses to play. While she hasn't been out for long walks yet, she's doing great on a leash in the yard. Sadie has also proven to be an excellent car companion, snoozing peacefully during rides. Please note that Sadie may not be ideal for homes with toddlers due to her puppy behavior. If you're looking for a gentle, loyal, and well-mannered German Shepherd, Sadie is the perfect addition to your family. She's ready to bring joy, love, and companionship into your home. Sadie is being fostered in a home in Seguin, TX. Transport is available out of state. We do not adopt to MA, NH, or ME due to quarantine laws. To apply directly for Sadie click the "Apply for Adoption" button. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-472 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org.
