Courtesy Post - please contact Jeremy Deguc directly at 541-505-4884. Meet Jackson! Jackson is being fostered with a professional trainer. Jackson is a lovable 3-year-old German Shepherd-Karakachan mix and the definition of a good boy! He’s had extensive training and knows all his basic commands, walking politely on leash and recalling instantly. At around 85 pounds, Jackson is a big, energetic, and athletic pup who thrives in an active household. He loves to train and bond through obedience, so if you enjoy working with your dogs, he’ll be a perfect match! Jackson would do great as an only dog or with a large female canine companion and would flourish in a home with adults or older kids due to his size and energetic nature. Despite his big stature, he’s a big sweetheart who craves affection and loves being told he's a good boy. Given his breed mix, Jackson could also make a fantastic farm dog in the right environment. Story
Lady was bought from a litter off a private seller with purebred German Shepherd parents. She is an amazing girl who is very intelligent and just needs a family with more time than we have to offer her. She has always been very excited to say hello to people and meet them and it can take her a little bit to calm down. She does have a small prey drive so it is recommended that you not have her around any cats or small pets. She is very much a loving dog with a very playful and silly mentality. She does understand voice and hand commands and is a quick learner.

Story
Meet Sydney, a serene and affectionate Belgian Malinois Shepherd mix with a heart as gentle as her gaze. Sydney is the definition of calm—nothing seems to faze her. She’s incredibly dog and cat friendly, and her low to medium energy level makes her a wonderful match for a peaceful home. Sydney is being fostered in a loving home in San Antonio, TX, where she gets along beautifully with her German Shepherd foster sister. Sydney walks beautifully on a leash and makes an excellent walking buddy for those who enjoy quiet neighborhood strolls. However, her true happy place is outside—she absolutely thrives in a yard where she can explore, relax, and enjoy nature. A home with outdoor space is a must for this sweet girl. Potty trained and polite, Sydney is well-mannered around the house. She's a little shy when meeting new people or visiting unfamiliar places, so she’ll need a patient and loving family willing to give her time to settle in. Once she trusts you, she’ll show you her soft, affectionate side and soak up every bit of attention you're willing to give. Sydney is also a cozy cuddle buddy—she loves curling up next to you on the couch for some quiet bonding time. While she’s not a fan of car rides, Sydney is happy living the homebody life. She’s currently looking for a foster or adopter in Central Texas who can offer her the calm, consistent environment she deserves. If you're looking for a gentle, loyal companion, Sydney is ready to make your heart her home. Story
Hi, I`m Kopi! I`m about 3 years old and weigh roughly 50 pounds.*I have a behavior waiver that staff will talk to you about when you come to see me*Do you like...Dogs? I have a history of being reactive to dogs at a distance, and may do best as a single dog. I will need to meet all dogs in the home prior to adoption!Cats? I am looking for a kitty free home!Kids? While friendly I can be reactive and should go to a home with kids old enough to understand this behavior. Recommended kids 13+.Anything else you`d like us to know, Kopi? I`m a nice boy with some nervous energy! I would do best in an active home with people who can spend time exercising with me. I do need some training to make sure I`m being my best self but I`m smart and love to learn so we should all have fun with it!I came into the shelter as a surrender and the above information is all recommendations based on my previous history and the behavior seen at the shelter. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I`m looking for my forever home and it could be with you!ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. You will get to choose between a one year, two year, or three year license. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503.
