Sydney is being fostered in a loving home in San Antonio, TX, where she gets along beautifully with her German Shepherd foster sister. Sydney walks beautifully on a leash and makes an excellent walking buddy for those who enjoy quiet neighborhood strolls. However, her true happy place is outside—she absolutely thrives in a yard where she can explore, relax, and enjoy nature. A home with outdoor space is a must for this sweet girl. Potty trained and polite, Sydney is well-mannered around the house. She's a little shy when meeting new people or visiting unfamiliar places, so she’ll need a patient and loving family willing to give her time to settle in. We love our Ozzy boy and are sad to consider rehoming him. We had our first baby about a year and a half ago and have tried our best to make it work. Our biggest concern is him not getting enough stimulation anymore. He’s never gotten aggressive with our baby but he gets nervous when our baby goes towards him since babies don’t always know how to be gentle or behave around dogs. He loves his daily walks but his favorite thing is to be off leash and be able to roam. He has a sensitive stomach that he receives medicine for each night. We simply get a syringe and administer the medicine orally which he takes really well. It’s managed good at this point and his medicine is about $60 every month and a half. He has a big heart and we will miss him a lot. He has a super gentle nature and is instinctually a teddy bear even though he likes to act like he’s super tough. We want to rehome him to somebody post that can provide enough companionship and entertainment.

Takoda is a good dog. Well behaved, always up for walks and is pretty calm. He is leash trained but I’ve also walked him without a leash an he stays with me. He loves playing with other dogs and has never started a fight. He is house trained, also He loves to just lay with you and watch tv. He gets along with cats, and does good with meeting new dogs. He don’t bark at people or other dogs. He can dig if anxious but he does not have a digging problem, he will dig a hole to lay in sometimes but don’t dig up plants or flowers or anything like that. I’ve had him a long time but can no longer take care of him. I would hate to drop him off at a shelter

Aleu is a very sweet and smart girl. She loves training and is highly food motivated. She has reactivity toward other dogs (she will bark and lunge in a leash) I believe it is fear and excitement based she has never displayed any signs of aggression. Once she calms down a bit all she wants to do is cuddle and be a lap dog. I don’t think I can provide enough time and training to help her overcome her reactivity or give her everything she deserves.

I`m about 3 years old and weigh roughly 63 pounds.** I`m a volunteer favorite and here`s why:`Such a sweet lady, so calm and loving.``She is a sweet girl who just wants some love. She thinks she is a lap dog but is just a bit big for that. She often has her tongue hanging off to the side when she is happy and relaxed.` **Do you like...Dogs? I`m a little nervous of other dogs and would need a very calm dog to help me get more comfortable. I need to meet any potential doggie family members before going home with them.Cats? It is unknown how I would do around cats. With a slow, proper introduction I might do okay.Kids? I would do best with kids old enough to respect my space, recommended kids 8+.Anything else you`d like us to know, Footprint? I can be a bit shy when I first meet someone but with a little time I will warm up and become you`re very best friend! I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. I have no known history. Expect to learn more about me after adoption.It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. Jazzy was found on 4/17/2026 at the Toreros Restaurant in Springfield. She came into the shelter not yet spayed. If you believe this is your missing dog, please contact the shelter at (541) 689-1503. Since this dog is new to the shelter and we are still looking for their family, they are not viewable on the adoption floor at this time.The shelter staff is giving me some time to settle in and adjust to this new place. As we get to know each other a little better, the behavior team and veterinary staff will then be evaluating my needs. Please stay tuned for my updated information!Our shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs can be unreliable and for most dogs we are only guessing at their primary breed. Leggs is a resilient 32 pound, 8 month old pup working hard to become part of the world around him. While he’s naturally timid because he was feral the first three months of his life, he’s been bravely approaching new challenges and turned into the most amazing dog at home. Leggs is very intelligent and sensitive. He’s a bit cuddler and loves wrapping himself up in a blanket and hunkering down with his soft toys. He’s fantastic on a leash and incredibly gentle with myself, my children, and other dogs (including my super senior). He tries to play with cats, but also respects their space. He is crate trained, goes to the door when he needs to go potty, leash trained, and doing well on basic obedience and threshold training. He’s done well on trips to the park, long-leash walking on nature trails, and trips to pet-friendly stores such as Petco. His perfect home would be one that understands his initial need to decompress. After that, you can expect the most loyal and intuitive companion.
