Story
Lady was bought from a litter off a private seller with purebred German Shepherd parents. She is an amazing girl who is very intelligent and just needs a family with more time than we have to offer her. She has always been very excited to say hello to people and meet them and it can take her a little bit to calm down. She does have a small prey drive so it is recommended that you not have her around any cats or small pets. She is very much a loving dog with a very playful and silly mentality. She does understand voice and hand commands and is a quick learner.

Story
Meet Sydney, a serene and affectionate Belgian Malinois Shepherd mix with a heart as gentle as her gaze. Sydney is the definition of calm—nothing seems to faze her. She’s incredibly dog and cat friendly, and her low to medium energy level makes her a wonderful match for a peaceful home. Sydney is being fostered in a loving home in San Antonio, TX, where she gets along beautifully with her German Shepherd foster sister. Sydney walks beautifully on a leash and makes an excellent walking buddy for those who enjoy quiet neighborhood strolls. However, her true happy place is outside—she absolutely thrives in a yard where she can explore, relax, and enjoy nature. A home with outdoor space is a must for this sweet girl. Potty trained and polite, Sydney is well-mannered around the house. She's a little shy when meeting new people or visiting unfamiliar places, so she’ll need a patient and loving family willing to give her time to settle in. Once she trusts you, she’ll show you her soft, affectionate side and soak up every bit of attention you're willing to give. Sydney is also a cozy cuddle buddy—she loves curling up next to you on the couch for some quiet bonding time. While she’s not a fan of car rides, Sydney is happy living the homebody life. She’s currently looking for a foster or adopter in Central Texas who can offer her the calm, consistent environment she deserves. If you're looking for a gentle, loyal companion, Sydney is ready to make your heart her home. To see more pictures and videos of Sydney copy and paste this link, you can apply directly for Sydney by clicking the Apply for Adoption button on the linked page. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-550 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. Story
We love our Ozzy boy and are sad to consider rehoming him. We had our first baby about a year and a half ago and have tried our best to make it work. Our biggest concern is him not getting enough stimulation anymore. He’s never gotten aggressive with our baby but he gets nervous when our baby goes towards him since babies don’t always know how to be gentle or behave around dogs. He loves his daily walks but his favorite thing is to be off leash and be able to roam. He has a sensitive stomach that he receives medicine for each night. We simply get a syringe and administer the medicine orally which he takes really well. It’s managed good at this point and his medicine is about $60 every month and a half. He has a big heart and we will miss him a lot. He has a super gentle nature and is instinctually a teddy bear even though he likes to act like he’s super tough. We want to rehome him to somebody post that can provide enough companionship and entertainment.

Takoda is a good dog. Well behaved, always up for walks and is pretty calm. He is leash trained but I’ve also walked him without a leash an he stays with me. He loves playing with other dogs and has never started a fight. He is house trained, also He loves to just lay with you and watch tv. He gets along with cats, and does good with meeting new dogs. He don’t bark at people or other dogs. He can dig if anxious but he does not have a digging problem, he will dig a hole to lay in sometimes but don’t dig up plants or flowers or anything like that. I’ve had him a long time but can no longer take care of him. I would hate to drop him off at a shelter

Story
Soli is approximately 1 year old and is very playful with my small dog and other larger dog as well as my cats. We are unsure of her full background due to the fact that my partners uncle got her from strangers. Uncle starting dealing with heath issues and Soli wasn't getting the attention, love, and training that would help her become the best girl to a loving family. We have been working on her timidness and reactivity towards strangers when they walk in the house, but has been doing so much better. She is amazing on walks and is such a lover when shes comfortable and feels safe.

Story
Indy is a very loyal, affectionate dog who loves to play and be with his people. He enjoys time in the house or garden with our ducks and is happy to relax on the couch all day while you’re at work. He does well as an only dog and enjoys dog parks, but does not like cats. Indy has had food-related aggression toward humans and dogs since 13 weeks old. Since we had a baby 6 months ago, he has become more protective of his home and family and more reactive toward people outside his immediate household. He recently bit someone who tried to touch him while he was on his bed. He needs an experienced owner familiar with resource guarding and dog aggression who can provide structure and boundaries. With his family, Indy is very sweet, snuggly, and affectionate. We were once a great fit as a couple without kids, but our circumstances have changed and we are no longer able to meet his needs.

Good with kids, Good with dogs, Not good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Leggs is a resilient 32 pound, 10 month old pup working hard to become part of the world around him. While he’s naturally timid because he was feral the first three months of his life, he’s been bravely approaching new challenges and turned into the most amazing dog at home. Leggs is very intelligent and sensitive. He’s a bit cuddler and loves wrapping himself up in a blanket and hunkering down with his soft toys. He’s fantastic on a leash and incredibly gentle with myself, my children, and other dogs (including my super senior). He is crate trained, goes to the door when he needs to go potty, leash trained, and doing well on basic obedience and threshold training. He’s done well on trips to the park, long-leash walking on nature trails, and trips to pet-friendly stores such as Petco. His perfect home would be one that understands his initial need to decompress. After that, you can expect the most loyal and intuitive companion. He is not a fan of cats so no kitties please. Leggs is being fostered in Texas but can be transported out of state. You can apply directly for Leggs by clicking the Apply for Adoption button on the linked page. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-835 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org.
