Story
This sweet dog is Alfie. He loves playing fetch with his ball and tug with his rope. He is very loveable and has a sweet nature and is such a happy dog. He is very active and loves to run around and is looking for a forever home. He is a male German Shepard mix and is estimated to be around one year old. To meet one of our adoptable pets or to start the adoption process, please access the adoption application on our website, www.crossroadsanimalrescue.org or download and email it to crossroadsanimalrescuesc@gmail.com. We will then approve you (sending in the application does not obligate you to adopt) and we can set up a time for you to meet one or more of our pets. You can then pay the adoption fee and officially adopt after meeting your new family member. Alternatively, you can do the adoption over the phone before meeting your new pet. The benefit to this is that we will hold the pet for you. However, the adoption fee is non-refundable if you changed your mind after adopting over the phone. Most of our pets are obtained from animal control and therefore we are not certain of their breed or breed mix. We list breed mixes that they most resemble or that their former owners said they were. However, we don't make any guarantees about breed - it is a best guess! Our adoption fees include the spay/neuter surgery, deworming, vet exam, and up to date vaccines. It also includes microchipping as well as heartworm testing or feline leukemia testing. We are happy to adopt out-of-state (and even out of the country!) but transportation for the adopted pet is the responsibility of the new pet owner. If you cannot adopt a pet at this time but would like to support our rescue, please click on the "Sponsor a Pet" button. Your donation will help feed the dogs, cats, small animals, and horses at CARE. Please email at crossroadsanimalrescuesc@gmail.com or call us at (864)972-9906 for more information. This phone number will reach Crossroads Animal Hospital, which is the home of CARE. During business hours, a receptionist will be able to speak with you regarding our adoptable pets. After business hours, the only way to contact CARE is via email. Our puppies and kittens are also eligible for 10% off the rest of the vaccines in their puppy/kitten vaccination series at Crossroads Animal Hospital. Most adult pets are spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Puppies and kittens may have the surgery before adoption or we may have new owners return later for the surgery. Story
Meet Blu!  I'm Blu. I would love to be your best friend! I have had a ruff life but I'm always in an incredible mood. In a previous life I was neglected and starved. Thankfully, an angel rescued me and I became a lucky pup!  I weighed 35 lb when I was rescued. I am a healthy 85 lbs now! My foster mommy has also taught me how to sit, say, walk and so much more. I love my doggy brothers and sisters. However, I find cats so fascinating I want to chase them down and eat them. I should not be in a house with kitty cats.  I am the best snuggler. I love my humans and stay close. Apply to adopt me today! He is neutered, dewormed, microchipped, current with all vaccines (as appropriate for his age) and on flea and heartworm prevention. Blu is currently being fostered in South Carolina. ADOPT BLU!! www.LuckyPupRescueSC.com The adoption fee is $250.00 and we require a vet check and home visit. May 24, 2023, 9:16 am

Story
Sully is a handsome 7 year old German Shepherd/Labrador Retriever mix. His mild temperament and affectionate nature make him a true sweetheart. He absolutely adores belly rubs and will melt into a puddle of happiness when he gets them. Sully is a sun-worshipper and can often be found lounging in a sunny spot, soaking up the warmth. He's also a pup with lots of energy and enjoys going for walks and exploring outdoors. He is great with kids and would make a perfect furry companion for families. However, he does have a sensitive side. Sully gets anxious during thunderstorms and seeks comfort by finding a cozy spot in a closet or bathtub to hide in. We would love to find him a home where he'll be showered with love, snuggles, and plenty of belly rubs. He would thrive in a home with a yard where he can run and play to his heart's content. If you're looking for a loyal and affectionate companion who will fill your life with joy, Sully might just be the perfect match for you!

Story
My husband and I adopted Remi from Greenville Humane Society when he was 4 months old. He is currently 2. He is silly, playful, protective, energetic and likes to snuggle up next to you. However, he is a very triggered dog. He usually plays well with our other dog in the house until he is feeling jealous or threatened and will try to bite her. Outside of the home Remi is not friendly with other dogs. We have worked with 2 trainers to try to help him feel more comfortable with not much success. He loves to run and would do well with a large yard or land. Most days he is in a mild mood but he will get dominate and snap at us if we are trying to take something from him he shouldn’t have or if he doesn’t want you near his face. He follows training commands well, doesn’t chew up anything in the house and is crate trained. He is a loving dog majority of the time and We have poured a lot of love into him. We have hope for his future and want to find the right home for him to thrive.
