Story
While living in Arizona we found an ad for adopting from a rancher that had a surprise litter from his Blue Heeler / Cocker Spaniel from a wild/stray German Sheppard in 2018. Carla loves running in the yard and would do well with a fenced in area. She gets along instantly with women and is unsure what a child really is. Carla is loyal and energetic. She will really stay right with you ... till she sees a squirrel, and extremely protective and pack oriented. Carla is very responsive to commands and loves getting brushed. Give her a mint treat and you are her friend for life.

Story
LILO is a good girl. She’s a 4 year old purebred GSD, though smaller in stature than most. She takes commands very well and is eager to please. Her dog toys/bones/stuffies are her favorite- she will carry them around everywhere she goes. Her kennel/crate is her safe space and she prefers to have her own available for her, especially to sleep in. She is a protective dog who also likes her space so when our baby started crawling and walking we were very scared to let her be near him because she would show resource guarding behavior. We don’t think she would ever actually do anything but we just don’t want to take the risk with our baby. We tried giving her her own space outside with a heated dog house and plenty of space to run but she is very upset and barks all night. We know it’s not the best situation for her so we are really hoping we can find her a loving home without young children where she can thrive.

Story
Miss Peaches needs a UNICORN home and we are praying we can find it. Peaches was relinquished by her owners due to behavior issues. We soon found that the family had behavior issues, not Peaches. After she was going to be euthanized, a recommendation from a dog trainer, we reached out to another trainer that agreed to help her. What a HUGE difference this has made !!!! WOW Peaches became best friends with her new trainer in under 10 minutes. She currently has had 4 weeks of obedience training and is e collar conditioned. Peaches is an amazing dog that has done excellent at adoption events and around other dogs. However, very slow introductions are needed until she gets more exposure to other dogs, she is scared of them. Training has built so much confidence and she trains with other dogs on leash. She is NON REACTIVE to other dogs even at a close distance. Peaches is a low to medium energy girl, not your typical high drive anxious mal. Peaches would be a family pet or a great entry level for dog sprots. She loves to walk, hike, play, sniff, fetch, find it, and play in the pool. She would be an excellent beginner dog for someone in dog sports.Obedience, barn hunt, fast cat, dock diving !! Her impulse control is amazing ! And yet she is silly and fun to be with. We have lots of videos to share from the trainer, just reach out. Peaches prefers women for certain, a male figue would have to work harder to earn her trust. Peaches has lived with and been around older kids and has done well. House trained, crate trained, spayed, UTD and almost PERFECT !!!!

Story
Echo was very stressed at the local shelter and was an hour away from being euthanized when we arrived and the shelter and he immediately rolled over for a belly rub. We knew we had to save this lover boy. His freedom ride provided him with an immediate nap in the back seat and he greeted us with his head in our laps and again asking for belly rubs. Lover Boy loves everyone he meets, but does like to hop around/up so he would do best in a home without small children or frail individuals. He is house trained, crate trained and overall very quiet. He is good with other dogs, but he doesn’t realize his size so he would do best without small dogs. Cats are very mysterious creatures that induce an excited fear so best to not have those in the house either for Echo.

Story
Big ol Max is one of the sweetest dogs we've met. He originally came from a back yard breeder until an couple took him . Now the gentleman passed away and the lady can not care for him. Max has never lived indoors or been in a crate. Actually Max doesn't know much about the outside world. Max will need some work, however he LOVES every human he meets. His whole body wags, he adores attention. We think Max would settle into a home nicely and Max does great with other dogs is size. Let's give this guy a shot at "the good life" like he deserves.
