Story
We adopted Ella through the Montgomery Shelter, she is two years old. She's very sweet, likes to be pet, and loves attention. She is able to be chill and relax on her own. Choosing to lay on the floor next to her owner over a bed. She likes being outside, playing fetch with toys, and going on walks. She likes to play with toys, holding them in her mouth and walking around with them while making them squeak. She has shown interest in hard bones and chews, but carries them around and hasn't actually chewed on one yet. * The adoption fee is being covered by the sponsor, in addition a crate, leash, toys, food and bed will be provided upon adoption.*

Story
I dread making this ad because Sadie is one of a kind dog . Found her roaming the streets in 2023 very malnourished and frightened however brought her home in hopes to find a better for her however my male German shepherd and her instantly bonded. I love this dog however with a new house (in a neighborhood) and a work schedule causing me to be away more I feel as if she deserves a home with a bit more freedom and space and not cooped up in a house with 2 kids and another hyper German shepherd. Please feel free to reach out with questions.

Story
“The dog lives for the day, the hour, even the moment.” This reminds us of Russ, who savors each day to the fullest and is such a free spirit! Why we love him: Russ is a bouncy, happy-go-lucky dog who is always so glad to be in your company! He is two years old and weighs 64 pounds. Russ has one of those wonderfully expressive doggy faces that looks like he is smiling, and his merry brown eyes reflect his joy for life. He reminds us of a big puppy! Russ is a very enthusiastic companion on walks and is more than glad to help you get your daily exercise. He would be a fine hiking or running buddy, too. Outings in the fenced yard are a great outlet for his abundant energy, and he bounds about in total joy! He especially enjoys playing with the toys. Russ loves games of fetch, too. Russ is a bright dog who should master any commands you want to teach him. Russ has had some great outings with one of our dedicated volunteers. He enjoyed riding in the car, spending time exploring the yard, observing the chickens and meeting the family cat and dogs. He would do best in a family who will give him structure, consistency and routine. Smart, fun and loyal - Russ is going to be such a great companion! Lucky Russ is currently in a foster home, and his foster Mom says: "He’s very true to what I’ve read about Coonhounds. Russ loves toys and sticks and has a very playful side. He really enjoys being outside sniffing and searching for adventures. Russ is not very vocal, just when the other dogs get barking, he will add to it. He needs someone that will assist with getting his energy out and directed in a good place. He does also love his sleep! He enjoys long naps on his raised dog beds. But when he’s awake, he’s ready to go. He would be best in a home with older children." E-mail ccacangels@yahoo.com for more information! Please come visit! We are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
