Story
Jax is a sweet boy, we’ve had him since he was a baby. He’s mainly crate trained, sometimes has accidents but he’s good at telling you before them. He’s indoor potty trained with pads and if you take him outside he goes to the door to use the bathroom on routine. He’s very playful, very loving and very needy for play and time. We have a 2 year old son he sometimes plays with but he can be a bit too rough for the baby to keep up. He doesn’t attack our two cats but he does want to play with them and they don’t like it so I’m not sure how much further that goes. He isn’t leash trained but with me he doesn’t run off or pull or drag, he stays close, sometimes too close you can barely walk haha. He’s nosy and gets into everything and likes to destroy things so keep an eye on him. He loves bones and gets calm with puzzle toys but he loses them when he hides them sometimes then gets bored. He loves affection, loves kisses and cuddles and sleeping in the bed. He barks a lot but calms quickly.

IDGSR Welcomes NOVA into the safety of the rescue!! THIS DOG IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE & AVAILABLE FOR TRANSPORT ************** Hiya Friends! My name is Nova and I'm a sweet 4-6yr old female Shepherd/Malinois mix gal. I am located near Nashville TN and will be available for transport. Quick Facts: Age - 4-6yrs old Kids - will do fine with older kids (10+) Dogs - good with large male dogs Cats - NO cats Training - needs standard obedience training 1. My story is pretty sad. I was chained to a tree with no interaction, used for breeding. I had my last litter of puppies (all have been adopted) and now it's my turn! 2. My foster mom estimates my age to be about 4-6yrs old. We aren't quite sure but because of my hard upbringing, I have a little more gray on my face. 3. I enjoy taking walks, exploring in the backyard, playing with other large breed dogs, and resting with my foster mom. 4. I would love to find a person/family who will take me on walks, tell me I'm the bestest girl in the world, and show me what a loving family really is. 5. I could benefit from obedience training. I'm a cross between two very intelligent breeds so I'll catch on super quick. Also, training will help us bond! 6. If you are looking for a resilient, loving, friendly, sweet, and loyal new companion - I'm your girl! **SERIOUS APPLICANTS ONLY! IDGSR Welcomes ROMEO into the safety of the rescue!! THIS DOG IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE & AVAILABLE FOR TRANSPORT ************** Hiya Friends! My name is Romeo and I'm a handsome 1yr old male German Shepherd mix dude. I am located in Greeneville TN and will be available for transport. Quick Facts Age: 1yr old Kids: would do fine with older kids (12+) Dogs: good with large dogs Cats: NO cats Training: needs full obedience training 1. My backstory is pretty sad. I came from a high kill shelter in Memphis. After leaving the shelter, I was forced to live in a small kennel most of the day. Because of this cruelty, I was going nuts! Doggos aren't suppose to live in a crate 24/7! 2. Thanks to some good hearted people, they transferred me to IDGSR where I could receive proper care, love, attention, and learn to be a good boy. 3. I have gained weight, overcome some of my not-so-great habits, and have learned being a free dog is the best! Running in the yard, playing with other dogs, and playing with toys is so fun! 4. I am house & kennel trained and am a very active boy. I'd love to go on walks, hikes, runs, or do anything athletic. 5. I could use some standard obedience training. Let's prove to your nosey neighbor that you have the most handsome (duh!) and well trained pup on the block! 6. If you are looking for a resilient, friendly, handsome, athletic, and nice new companion - I'm your dude! **SERIOUS APPLICANTS ONLY! If you are not 100% ready to adopt, please wait** ************** ***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION*** -ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted -We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply -All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered -Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter -An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog -Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY -Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications -All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time -Not able to adopt?
