IDGSR Welcomes GRIZZ into the safety of the rescue!!
THIS DOG IS FOSTERED IN MARYLAND & AVAILABLE FOR TRANSPORT

Howdy! My name is Grizzly, or Sheriff Grizz! I'm about 2-years old, a striking black male German Shepherd, and I have a big personality!
I am currently at a 4-week board & train program with Mason Dixon K9 in Maryland! I'm learning all sorts of obedience commands and how to be a respectful gentleman. When I'm finished with training, I'll be available for transport.
Be sure to check out Mason Dixon K9 on Facebook for picture & video updates of me!
Here are 9 fun facts about me & my ideal home!
1. Since I'm the new Sheriff in town, I would make a GREAT protector! Not the kind that lives outside, I'm *not* a yard dog. I will protect you, your house, and family from harm or scary delivery people!
2. I'm a BIG boy with a strong personality! I will need to be adopted to someone who has extensive German Shepherd experience/knowledge.
3. I would do best as an only dog or if you have a large female dog, I would be okay with her with proper introductions. No kids, small dogs, or cats please.
4. I like to explore in the backyard, go on walks, and I'm very content to rest by your feet.
5. I am eager to learn and want to be trained in basic and advanced obedience. This will help me bond to you!
6. Do you like walking or hiking? Me too! It would be great to go out on some trails and explore.
7. I have a mild temperament for being such a big guy.
8. I am sweet and do best with stern direction. I try to be the boss, remember, I'm Sheriff Grizz! but it is best that you are the boss.
9. I am resilient! I've experienced a lot in my short life and would love to find an experienced German Shepherd owner who can help me live the good life from now on!
