Story
Meet Titan! This handsome guy was found as a stray. Unfortunately no owner claimed him, so after his stray hold, we had him fully vetted of course, heartworm negative, and current on heartworm preventative. Titan was born April 2025 and currently weighs 65 pounds. Titan is a happy boy and gets along with people of all ages, other dogs, and cats. He definitely needs a fence to play and potty in, but must be in inside family member. He is house/kennel trained, but please expect accidents until he settles in to his new home. The adoption fee is $225 Which covers spay/neuter, shots, microchip, heartworm test, grooming (if needed), deworming, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and supplies while in our care. The pet MUST be kept on heartworm prevention all of their life. To apply to adopt go to our website www.fureverfurkids.com *We do home checks (either in person or virtual) for each pet before approving an adoption.* The application is to be completed prior to meeting the pet(s) you are interested in adopting. If they are still on the page, they are still more than likely still available. Once a pet is adopted from our rescue, they MUST be returned to us, if you cannot keep them. If you plan on not keeping them their whole lives, please do not apply. Thank you for looking at our rescues in need of amazing homes!

Zac is such a big sweetheart!  He loves to sleep during the day but also loves to go on sniff walks (he walks really well on a leash), and to have play time to chase toys and balls.  He loves being around people and will lay next to you on the floor wherever you are in your home.  He is very loyal!  He loves having outdoor time where he can sit and watch his surroundings but enjoys having a warm place inside to rest and sleep.  Zac is very well trained and knows a lot of commands. He also loves shorter car rides!  He will do most anything for a delicious treat and he listens very well.  He just wants to please his loving owner!  Hopefully that is you!

Story
Meet Sydney, a serene and affectionate Belgian Malinois Shepherd mix with a heart as gentle as her gaze. Sydney is the definition of calm—nothing seems to faze her. She’s incredibly dog and cat friendly, and her low to medium energy level makes her a wonderful match for a peaceful home. Sydney is being fostered in a loving home in San Antonio, TX, where she gets along beautifully with her German Shepherd foster sister. Sydney walks beautifully on a leash and makes an excellent walking buddy for those who enjoy quiet neighborhood strolls. However, her true happy place is outside—she absolutely thrives in a yard where she can explore, relax, and enjoy nature. A home with outdoor space is a must for this sweet girl. Potty trained and polite, Sydney is well-mannered around the house. She's a little shy when meeting new people or visiting unfamiliar places, so she’ll need a patient and loving family willing to give her time to settle in. Once she trusts you, she’ll show you her soft, affectionate side and soak up every bit of attention you're willing to give. Sydney is also a cozy cuddle buddy—she loves curling up next to you on the couch for some quiet bonding time. While she’s not a fan of car rides, Sydney is happy living the homebody life. She’s currently looking for a foster or adopter in Central Texas who can offer her the calm, consistent environment she deserves. If you're looking for a gentle, loyal companion, Sydney is ready to make your heart her home. To see more pictures and videos of Sydney copy and paste this link, you can apply directly for Sydney by clicking the Apply for Adoption button on the linked page. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-550 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. This benefit includes free access to Petcademy's team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle your new family member into your home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours (Monday-Friday).
