Poor Tucker, his owner ended up in a nursing home, not coming out. Tucker had no where to go so he has ended up in our shelter. He was a pretty sad boy at first, slowly he is warming up to us and ready for a new home. He would do well in a home without small children. He did live with another dog who has already been adopted. Tucker is approx. 60 lbs. He is pretty much housetrained and quiet. Visit him at the Rockbridge Spca or email manager@rockbridgespca.net. heartworm tested: Negative visit our fb page: dogs of rockbridge and rockbridge spca. NOTE: all animals adopted are taken straight to a local veterinarian for spay/neuter. We do adopt out of area providing adopter is will to make more than one trip. There are NO exceptions, and we do not hold animals. All Kittens and puppies must weigh 2 lbs. for surgery and there are a limited number of veterinarians in our area that will do a pediatric spay/neuter. please note the Rockbridge Spca does not have emotional support animals or service animals. we do not adopt to college students, however, they are welcome to volunteer. a fenced area may be required.

The mom was a stray who gave birth in a kind family’s barn then promptly got killed in the road. Thankfully the amazing family quickly discovered the pups and started bottle feeding until we could help. Now thanks to 3 separate bottle feeding families, these 7 pups are doing amazing. The mom appeared to be a German Shepherd mix and the dad was a traveling salesman so we are guessing these pups will be large. If all goes as planned they will be ready for homes the 2nd weekend of March once their vetting is complete. These pups are fostered in West TN so if they have to be transported there will be an additional $200 feet. The local adoption fee is $399 Please read all about us at funnyfarmpets.org
