Story
'Tis the season for cuddling up and OSO would be the perfect guy to snuggle up with! He's a German Shepherd/Chow mix who's approaching senior at about 6.5 y/o. He's pretty easy going most of the time and seems enjoy doing his own thing. He LOVES car rides and squeaky toys! While he did pretty well at an adoption event recently with other dogs, he might prefer to go solo in his future home, but meet & greets are always encouraged! He definitely seemed to prefer small pups to larger ones. He was good with kids 8+, but we don't recommend a household with kitties. He kinda just wants to amble around, go for some chill walkies and get pets! Take OSO home for PAW-LIDAYS! updated 12/13/25

Story
This puppy is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $250 if picked up in TN, $325 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Meet Zara, a stunning one-year-old 60 lb German Shepherd with a heart as strong as her spirit! This beautiful girl is the perfect blend of energy, intelligence, and resilience. Like most Shepherds, Zara is high-energy and eager to bond deeply with her people. She’s the kind of dog who wants to be right by your side, ready to take on life’s adventures together. Zara only has three legs, but she doesn’t let it slow her down one bit! She’s agile, playful, and loves to romp around outdoors, sniffing every new scent and chasing after her favorite toys. Tug-of-war is one of her favorite games, and her joy is infectious when she’s in play mode. She’s housetrained, crate trained, and knows a couple of basic commands like “sit” and “kennel.” While she can be vocal when something catches her attention, she’s simply doing her job. Ever the loyal Shepherd, she takes protecting her space seriously. Once she knows you’re a friend, she warms up quickly and shows her affectionate side. Zara gets along with some dogs and could do well with one calm, compatible canine companion, though she’d also be perfectly happy as the only dog soaking up all the love. She’s not a fan of cats, so a feline-free home is best. Because of her intelligence and energy, Zara would thrive with a family experienced with the German Shepherd breed, one that understands her need for structure, engagement, and plenty of time outdoors. In return, Zara will give you her unwavering loyalty, endless affection, and the joy of watching a truly remarkable dog embrace life to the fullest. Zara has proven she’s unstoppable, and now she just needs her forever family to cheer her on every step of the way.    Interested in adopting?
