Story
This puppy is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $250 if picked up in TN, $325 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Meet Zara, a stunning one-year-old 60 lb German Shepherd with a heart as strong as her spirit! This beautiful girl is the perfect blend of energy, intelligence, and resilience. Like most Shepherds, Zara is high-energy and eager to bond deeply with her people. She’s the kind of dog who wants to be right by your side, ready to take on life’s adventures together. Zara only has three legs, but she doesn’t let it slow her down one bit! She’s agile, playful, and loves to romp around outdoors, sniffing every new scent and chasing after her favorite toys. Tug-of-war is one of her favorite games, and her joy is infectious when she’s in play mode. She’s housetrained, crate trained, and knows a couple of basic commands like “sit” and “kennel.” While she can be vocal when something catches her attention, she’s simply doing her job. Ever the loyal Shepherd, she takes protecting her space seriously. Once she knows you’re a friend, she warms up quickly and shows her affectionate side. Zara gets along with some dogs and could do well with one calm, compatible canine companion, though she’d also be perfectly happy as the only dog soaking up all the love. She’s not a fan of cats, so a feline-free home is best. Because of her intelligence and energy, Zara would thrive with a family experienced with the German Shepherd breed, one that understands her need for structure, engagement, and plenty of time outdoors. In return, Zara will give you her unwavering loyalty, endless affection, and the joy of watching a truly remarkable dog embrace life to the fullest. Zara has proven she’s unstoppable, and now she just needs her forever family to cheer her on every step of the way.    Interested in adopting? Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $100 if picked up in TN, $175 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Willow starts every day like she is ready to win a gold medal in joy and fetch. She is a smart, high energy German Shepherd who loves having a job and loves her toys even more. At 3 years old and about 70 pounds, Willow is everything people adore about the breed. She is sharp, playful and full of heart. She knows sit, crate, go outside, come, stay and even find it for her beloved ball. She is fully housetrained and sleeps or relaxes in her crate when needed. If you want a dog who lights up the moment you pick up a toy, she is your girl. Fetch is her true passion. She will proudly bring her ball, stare at you like you are the chosen one and then sprint after it with full commitment. She enjoys playing with dogs her own size who are polite and not pushy. She is sweet with kids and anyone willing to throw her ball. She is not a fan of other dogs stealing her toys and she has a high prey drive, so small dogs can look a little too fun to chase. Willow loves car rides and sees them as an adventure. Leash walking still needs some work, but she is bright and motivated which makes training easier. She has done well with the two large dogs in her foster home and even plays with the younger one. Willow will thrive in an active home with someone who enjoys engaging a working breed and who has a strong throwing arm. She has so much love and enthusiasm to give and she is ready to make someone very happy. If you think you might be her match, reach out to us for more information.  Interested in adopting?
