Story
Harley is a very smart and sweet girl, she knows sit, stay, leave it, okay, spin, sit pretty, and lay down. She is close to 10 years old she doesn’t get along with other dogs, she has had good experience with my little brother but with other kids not so much. The most she does is bark and try and go to the kid or dog which is not recommended. She has no history of biting anyone she doesn’t like men that much because her last owner abused her. But she has been growing to like men it just takes time. I’m here for any questions that you may have, and am looking for a safe, loving, and secure home for her. As I can no longer take care of her I love her very much and just want to find her a companion, thank you.

WANTED. Our two employees and army of volunteers focus on transporting pregnant dogs and puppies from Texas, the number one kill state in America. The dogs we rescue are in poor living conditions and on euthanasia lists in shelters that are inundated with unwanted animals. We want to give these dogs a chance and bring them to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive, loving homes. We are 100% foster based; our dogs are fostered in loving homes where they are house and crate trained and learn basic obedience and leash skills. Dogs experience socialization opportunities with people, places, and other animals, and they receive the attention required to become well-rounded, healthy, and affectionate dogs that they would not otherwise receive in a shelter environment. Our commitment does not end when the dog is adopted. Path of Hope offers post adoption owner support including information on making the dog’s transition to your home a smooth one; recommendations for Preferred Trainers; advice on pet behavior and wellness topics; Facebook litter groups to keep in touch with fellow adopters; and invitations to local rescue hosted events. Please visit https://www.pathofhoperescue.com/ for more information about our organization and the adoption process. ##2609200##
