Story
Female, spayed, housebroken, shots up-to-date, 7-year old German Shepherd seeks home with people who don’t travel for work. Cici is an amazing dog, but since taking a new job, her owner is looking for the right family who won’t have to board her every other week (sometimes for 10+ days in a row). Cici is affectionate, playful, energetic, gets along great with other dogs and cats, is good on a leash, and will get constant compliments when walked. No illnesses or medication required, other than the standard heartworm and flea/tick meds. Cici weighs approximately 75 lbs, and eats 2 cups of kibble, twice per day. Due to her size/playfulness, she’s probably not a good fit for families with infants/toddlers or young elementary, but does great with preteens and older, and would do best in a home with a fenced yard where she can run around freely. She is an excellent “alerter/protector” of your property, both inside and outside. Reach out for a meet-and-greet. She is a wonderful dog!

Story
Meet the sweetest girl, Holly! Holly is available as a foster-to-adopt until she is spayed. Although she`s quiet, Holly is a high-energy girl who thrives on activity and fun. Walks are one of her favorite things, and she’s always excited about playtime with toys or tackling enrichment puzzles that keep her busy and thinking. Holly adores other dogs and would love a canine friend to romp around with. This smart, playful pup would do best in an active home that enjoys walks, games, and mental enrichment. She’s also very people-friendly and affectionate, though she can be a little shy at first especially when there’s a big crowd. Once she has a moment to warm up, her sweet and loving personality really shines through. We’re still learning how Holly feels about cats in the home. Because she can be shy when meeting new people, she would likely do best with children who can give her time and space to warm up. She`s learning some basic commands and would benefit from positive reinforcement training, which will help her build confidence and continue learning in a fun, rewarding way. With her playful spirit, loving heart, and eagerness to learn, Holly would make a wonderful addition to a family ready to give her the time, activity, and love she deserves. Please note: - Our website (www.neenahanimalshelter.org) is updated in real time, so we are accepting applications for all animals that are currently listed. - Applications can be downloaded from our website. (http://neenahanimalshelter.org/how-to-adopt.html) - Our shelter has open visiting hours for cats, however pre-approved application are needed prior to an adoption. Appointments may be scheduled with an approved application as well, otherwise we may not be able to accommodate same day adoptions. - Approved applications are required prior to meeting any of our dogs.

Story
Myah`s history is a bit of a mystery. She came in as a stray with a microchip, but we found her former owner had passed away. Before that happened, he re-homed her with friends, but we can`t find them. She spent some time in an adoptive home, but is again available for adoption because she was not a good fit for a busy neighborhood. She is very sweet and house trained. We had ACL surgery done on both of her back legs. She is on an inexpensive medication due to some urinary incontinence and will come with a good supply of it..Because we think she is part husky, a nice, fenced yard is preferable. Myah does have a very strong prey drive, and therefore, must go to a home with no other small dogs or cats/small mammals. She is very friendly with people!

Foster location: Appleton  Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html Bio: Introducing Bristol, who made her journey from Alabama for a fresh start to her young life! Bristol was picked up as a stray, with a nasty case of mange leaving her bald and incredibly uncomfortable. Thankfully she landed with a great group in Alabama that helped her start her path to recovery.  While she still has some bald spots, she is looking and feeling so much better. This is one happy go lucky girl, who clicks quickly with her person. Though just listed as a mix breed, As her ears may indicate, the sheppy personality is strong in this one!  She is very alert, very smart, enjoys watching everything in the neighborhood, or catching leaves. An active home that knows the importance of training will have one remarkable girl in their life! Our Pack Animal Rescue,  Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue. License #487823. Meet and greets are arranged after an application has been approved. An approved application does not mean you must adopt the dog of interest, if it isn't a good fit.November 24, 2025, 9:26 am
