Story
Adorable Flora is ready to find her forever home! Flora came to us as a stray with her sister, Fauna. We’re not sure of her breed, but she’s definitely a big pup - already almost 70 lbs! Despite her size, she`s very gentle. While we`re working on her jumping up to greet people, she`s always gentle about it. Flora loves people and wants to hug and give face kisses to anyone she meets. Once she settles down, she`ll happily sit by your feet for pets and attention. She`s a lovebug who`s eager to please! She`s been in a foster home for a few weeks and has been slowly but surely learning house manners. Potty-training is still new to her but she`s made great progress! Her foster mom said that as soon as she figured out their doggie door, she never had another accident in the house. Flora`s also improving on her walking skills and already knows `sit`! Flora has done well with other dogs and has been getting along with several dogs in her foster home. We believe a home with an adult dog to show her the ropes would be a great fit for Flora. Please note: - Our website (www.neenahanimalshelter.org) is updated in real time, so we are accepting applications for all animals that are currently listed. - Applications can be downloaded from our website. If the cat in the home is 10 years or older, this two-kitten policy will apply.

Story
Meet the sweetest girl, Holly!Although she`s quiet, Holly is a high-energy girl who thrives on activity and fun. Walks are one of her favorite things, and she’s always excited about playtime with toys or tackling enrichment puzzles that keep her busy and thinking. Holly adores other dogs and would love a canine friend to romp around with. This smart, playful pup would do best in an active home that enjoys walks, games, and mental enrichment. She’s also very people-friendly and affectionate, though she can be a little shy at first especially when there’s a big crowd. Once she has a moment to warm up, her sweet and loving personality really shines through. We’re still learning how Holly feels about cats in the home. Because she can be shy when meeting new people, she would likely do best with children who can give her time and space to warm up. She`s learning some basic commands and would benefit from positive reinforcement training, which will help her build confidence and continue learning in a fun, rewarding way. With her playful spirit, loving heart, and eagerness to learn, Holly would make a wonderful addition to a family ready to give her the time, activity, and love she deserves. Please note: - Our website (www.neenahanimalshelter.org) is updated in real time, so we are accepting applications for all animals that are currently listed. - Applications can be downloaded from our website. Sweet Fauna is now available for adoption! Fauna came to us as a stray with her sister, Flora. We’re not sure of her breed, but she’s definitely a big pup - already around 70 lbs! Fauna loves any and all people, and will happily sit next to anyone who`s giving her scratches and pets. With new dogs she can be timid at first, but quickly comes out of her shell. She`s been making new dog friends here at the shelter and has been gaining her confidence everyday! Fauna is working on learning dog things and is eager to please! She`s learning how to play with toys, and so far stuffies with squeakers are her favorite! She`s been working on leash walking, learning `off` and `sit`, and is enjoying car rides. She`s working extra hard on her jumping up, but that`s only because she wants to hug and give face kisses to every person she meets. She would likely thrive in a home with children, especially those who are comfortable with a large, affectionate dog who loves to give face-to-face kisses.Fauna would likely do well in a home with an older dog to show her the ropes. We don`t believe she`s potty or kennel trained but she`s ready and eager to learn. We aren`t sure how she would do in a home with cats at this time. Story
I adopted Quinn as a puppy and have had him for 5 years. I love him very much and will miss him dearly. Quinn is a goofy derpy and loyal German Shepard. He is a very good walker and can be trained to do just about anything! He is a great listener when there are few distractions around. He is a big boy and the most beautiful German Shepard around. I am looking for Quinn to find a home where he can get all the love and attention he deserves.
